Hiding With Her Twin Babies
Chapter 60

The following day the Casella family all slept in as they were at the hospital almost the whole night. Bernardo and Mabel are going on their honeymoon to Sicily. Jen changed her plans for their honeymoon when she heard they wanted to go to Sicily. Jen then booked and paid for their honeymoon in Sicily. They will fly the following Monday to Sicily. She also gave Jennie and Dante their honeymoon package, and although they were reluctant to leave the children, Jen promised Jennie she could video call them every night as long as she went and relaxed with Dante. Jen also told Jennie that Dante feels neglected and that the children get all her attention. He longs to be alone with her for a few days. Jennie felt terrible, so she agreed to go on a honeymoon with Dante alone. She is also looking forward to the time alone with Dante, but Jennie and Dante want to tell their children and family about the baby and invite the whole family to dinner. They want to tell the trio first as they do not know how they will react.

When Dante and Jennie come down the stairs to have breakfast with the trio, they are already dressed and watching cartoons. Although Jennie’s stomach is still flat, it is starting to show. Jennie is wearing a dress that shows her body and stomach as it clings to her. Jennie and Dante do not know how to tell the children that she is pregnant and call them to have a late breakfast at the table.

Jennie made a big breakfast as she felt like having bacon and eggs but also wanted pancakes with it. She is having cravings. Everyone helps themself, and Jayden, Jack and Jayda look at their mother, that never eats so much, packing her plate with food. She eats her bacon and eggs with the sweet pancakes, and the trio can only stare at her for a while.

“Mother, I have noticed something strange about your eating habits lately. So I did a google search of your eating habits. You are either letting yourself go because you are married now or having a baby,” Jayden says. Jennie glares at Jayden.

“You are too wise for your size, mister! But I am pregnant,” Jennie says. The trio look at each other, and then they smile.

“I knew it! I told you! Mom is having a baby,” Jayda says. Jayden glares at Jayda and points to her with his fork.

“It is all your fault! You keep wishing for a baby. So now we are going to have a crying baby in the house! I hope the baby keeps you from sleeping at night!” Jayden says to Jayda.

“I am happy, and I do not care what you think. I hope it is a baby girl!” Jayda says happily.

“Well, I hope it is a baby boy. I want another brother,” Jack says. He does not feel threatened by anything anymore. He knows his new Mom and Dad loves him as much as they love Jayden and Jayda.

“Hey, there is only one girl in this family, so a baby girl will be great!” Jayda says. The children start fighting with each other, the two boys teaming up against Jayda, but she does not back down.

“You are crushing on Jason!” Jayden shouts.

“And you two are crushing of Tammy. I saw how concerned you were about her last night,” Jayda hits back.

“Don’t be silly! She is just our friend!” Jayden says, but Jack is blushing as he likes Tammy a lot, although they are too small to have girlfriends. Tammy is cute.

“Stop it, all of you!” Jennie says as she can not take the children screaming at each other anymore.

“Hey, you two are twins. What if mom and dad have another twin?” Jack says. The twins’ mouths drop open. They did not think of that possibility.

“Then dad will have to buy a bigger house so I can go and stay in another part of the house far away from crying babies! I have a lot to do and can not be interrupted all the time by crying babies,” Jayden says, with a stubborn look on his face.

“Two babies will be better than one, then we can have a brother and sister,” Jayda says. Jennie looks pale. She did not think about that.

“Maybe we should go for an ultrasound,” She says to Dante, who also looks like he has lost his appetite.

“I will make an appointment right away,” Dante says. However, he does not know if they can tell at this early age if it is a twin or not, as he does not know much about pregnancies and babies. Jennie is concerned as she has signs of having twins. She knows as she is showing already, and she is only a month pregnant. Early signs of a twin pregnancy include severe morning sickness, quick weight gain, and more breast tenderness. You may also notice an increased appetite or extreme fatigue. Plus, those who have a twin pregnancy may begin showing sooner. Jennie has noticed all these signs. She knows that she can only be sure after an ultrasound, but they will have to wait until she is ten to fourteen weeks pregnant. Although it does not look like it, Jennie knows she has gained a few pounds fast.

“It will not help let up wait until I am ten weeks pregnant for an ultrasound,” Jennie says.

“Okay,” Dante says. He is still in shock, and by the looks on Jennie’s face, he knows it is a real possibility. She had twins before, and he was not present, but Dante knows Jennie will know the signs. The trio is already a handful. If they have twins, they will have five children. Dante does not mind having many children, but Jennie looks so tiny and fragile that he can not imagine what she will go through. Then again, she already had twins. It might not be so bad. Jennie is tired and goes to lie down for a bit. Dante tells the cooks to start cooking for tonight’s family dinner as he does not want Jennie to cook and be on her feet all the time. They are also leaving for their honeymoon next week, and he is glad his mother arranged it. It will give him and Jennie some time to be alone and rest.

The trio goes upstairs to play their online game. They tell Jason about their mother being pregnant, and Jason feels a bit sad, as he has a schoolboy crush on Jennie. Suddenly, he does not feel like playing the game now, but he is in the middle of a war with another clan, and the Big Five alliance never loses. Jason will have to get over his crush as he knows Jennie is a married woman and married to one of his idols, Dante Casella. Jason knows the real identity of the Godfather as he is a great hacker. The Casella/Hudson family secret is safe with him as he will never tell on them. He will also not put his family’s lives in danger by exposing them.

Jennie falls asleep and dreams of her having the twins. She wakes up in cold sweat and gets up to go to the kitchen. She wants to cook today, but she does not know if she will have enough time before the family arrives. Jennie is surprised to see the busy cooks cooking, and she knows it is Dante that asked them to cook. He is so concerned about her the whole time, and now she knows he will be even more concerned since they suspect they are having twins. She makes Dante a cup of coffee as she knows he is working from home these days. Dante does not want her to do too much. Since her project with Jason is over, and the game demos have been sent out to all the big gaming platforms, Jennie does not have much work, so she stays home as much as possible and only goes to the office when she needs to sign documents. Jennie has a great team working for her. The game she did with Jason is completed, but they first want to get public opinion about the game and what they need to change before releasing the final product.

She walks into Dante’s office at home and sees him staring at the computer screen. He looks busy, and she puts the cup of coffee next to him on the table. Dante looks up from his work, grabs her, and pulls her into his lap. He k****s her neck and then her lips as if she is the most precious thing in the world to him. There is so much love in Dante’s eyes that Jennie can feel it in her heart.

“I don’t care if you have twins or one baby. I want you all to be healthy and happy,” Dante says. Jennie is relieved that Dante will accept that they might have twins again, and she hugs and k****s him.

“You make me so happy. I love you, babe. Thank you for asking the cooks to cook today,” Jennie says.

“Love you, love. I would have cooked myself, but I am so busy with work, I do not have the time,” Dante jokes, and Jennie laughs as she knows her husband can not cook to save his own life.

“Damn, I was looking forward to tasting your food,” Jennie teases him.

“Unless you have bizarre cravings, you will not be able to eat it,” Dante says.

The trio knows they have to get ready for dinner tonight, so they go offline to get dressed. The war they fought was over, and the Big Five won again. Jennie and Dante also go upstairs to get ready. They are ready. The food is prepared and waiting on hotplates. The servants are all dressed up and ready to serve the food as soon as the guests arrive. The doorbell rings and the butler lets Jen and Logan in. Jen and Logan greet their grandchildren first, and of course, they come with presents for the trio. They know how much the trio loves playing games, so they bring each a new game that they know the trio wants. Next, Tammy and Enzo show up as Rose, and the baby are still in the hospital until tomorrow. The rest of the family shows up soon after, and the house is filled with laughter and people chatting. They all wonder why Jennie and Dante called them all for a meeting and hope it is not because of problems with enemies. They all sit at their places around the table, and Jennie asks Enzo to video call Rose so she can be part of the celebration as well as they have big news to tell the family. Enzo calls Rose, and as soon as her face shows up on Enzo’s phone, Dante gets up.

“We called all of you here to tell you that Jennie and I are having a baby or babies,” Dante says. Everyone is happy and surprised at the same time. But then, they look at Jennie and see she has put on a bit of weight.

“Wow, how far are you, Jennie?” Mabel asks.

“About a month,” Jennie says. Everyone looks at her and can see she is already showing.

“It must be a twin again,” Jennifer says, sounding happy.

“Yeah, angel, we are blessed to have so many grandchildren. Little Taylor has just been born, and now Jennie and Dante are having twins,” Logan says.

“Hey, who says it is twins. The baby might be big,” Jennie says, hoping it is the case.

“When will you know?” Bernardo asks.

“When I am about ten weeks pregnant,” Jennie says.

“Grandma, Grandpa, can I come and stay with you until the babies are big enough not to cry all night and poop in their pants?” Jayden asks. Everyone laughs as Jayden looks serious.

“Honey, who will protect your new siblings and Jayda and Jack if you stay with us?” Jen answers. Jayden thinks for a while and sighs. His grandmother is right.

“You are right, grandmother. It is a curse to be the oldest sibling,” Jayden sighs.

“Only by a few minutes,” Jayda says.

“I am still the oldest,” Jayden says.

“I will protect them if you want to move to our grandparents. I am just as capable of protecting our siblings as you are,” Jayda says.

“No, you are not! I have to protect you as well as you are, my younger sister. As my second in command, you and Jack will have to help, of course,” Jayden says, and Jayda keeps quiet as she is glad Jayden wants to protect all of them and is showing more concern for his unborn sibling or siblings. The family laughs and enjoys the dinner. Rose is happy that they called her to be part of the announcement. She looks at the sleeping boy she is holding in her arms. She knows he will be protected and loved for as long as he lives. She is glad he does not have to suffer as Tammy had to when she was young and their parents died.
