Dante and Jennie are counting the day until the birth of their new twin babies. The weeks have become months. They can not wait, especially Dante, as he will be there every step of the way. Dante did not have the chance with Jayden and Jayda when they were small to see their first teeth coming out, hear their first words and watch their first steps. He feels he had missed out on so much, but Jennie has many videos of the twins growing up, and she gives them to him to watch. Dante watched them over and over again, wishing he was there. Dante thought he would not be a good father to babies when he was younger. But instead, he feels he got a second chance to do all the parenting things with the new twins on the way. Dante looks at his family, that is talking about their day.

“What do you all feel must the babies’ names be?” Dante asks.

“Delaney and Dante,” The trio answers at once.

“There are too many Jennifers in the family, and it will get confusing,” Jayden says.

“Yes, and all our names start with a J, so Dante and Delaney start with a D like daddy’s name,” Jayda says.

“Dante and Delaney sound good, and we like it. So we were searching for a name for a girl that goes with Dante,” Jack explains further.

“You guys thought it through,” Jennie says with a smile.

“Dante and Delaney, I like it. How about you, love?” Dante asks Jennie.

“I love it! Dante and Delaney, it is then,” Jennie says.

“As if you two had a choice in this, mom and dad. We already had the majority vote three against two, no matter what you decided,” Jayden says and laughs.

“You should become a politician,” Dante says dryly. Jayden looks at him and frowns.

“No, I will take daddy’s place in the family business one day. I want to be like dad,” Jayden says and looks proudly at his tall, strong dad. He wants to protect his family from bad guys like his father.

“I know you will all be greater than your mother and me one day. I know you will make us proud,” Dante says, looking at his children.

“I am never getting married, so you must not expect children from me,” Jayden says. He has a stubborn look on his little face, and Dante can only smile. He knows how he was at that age. He never wanted to get married and have children and look at him now. He is the happiest man alive, with the trio and another twin on the way. He loves Jennie with all his heart, and he can not think of not having them around. His life was dull and without love before he found Jennie after searching for her for more than eight years.

“You will get married if you can have a beautiful wife, like mommy and our aunts,” Jayda says.

“No, I won’t. I want to focus on business and be the best Godfather,” Jayden says.

Jennie smiles as she looks at her little family. She never thought she would be so happy and have Dante as her husband one day. She used to crush on him since they were small. She is almost nine months pregnant, and Mabel and Angy also found out they are expecting. Enzo does not want Rose to have another baby so close to having this one, as he does not want to see Rose go through all that pain again. Jennie gets up from the table, and a sharp pain hits her. She holds on to the table but says nothing. It is a bit early for the babies to be born as she is not nine months yet. She is about a week from being nine months. Surely they can not be that anxious to see this world. Jennie looks a bit pale as she waits for the pain to subside. The children and Dante are still busy talking, and Jennie moves to the kitchen when the pain is gone.

She does not want to alarm them as she is unsure that she felt birth pain. She stands in the kitchen for a while and waits to see if the pain returns. Jennie knows how it feels to have birth pains. She knows they will come again if it is birth pain. She is about to walk back to the dining room when the pain hits her again. The pain takes her by surprise, and she m***s. The chef looks up at Jennie, and he immediately helps her sit down.

“Don, I think the Donna is going into labour,” The chef says as he walks to the dining room.

“Why do babies always wait until night when they want to come out?” Jayden asks.

“Yeah, especially in our family,” Jayda says. The trio jumps up. They run with their father to the kitchen, where Jennie sits in a chair and holds on to the table.

“Mommy, are you okay?” Jayda asks. She can see her mother is pale, and sweat drops are forming on her forehead.

“I will be fine, baby girl,” Jennie says. She does not want her children to panic.

“I think we should go to the hospital. Jack, you get mom’s suitcase. Jayda, you get the babies’ case, and Dad, don’t just stand there. Get mom in the car,” Jayden starts ordering everyone around. Everyone comes alive and does as Jayden says. Soon the trio, Dante and Jennie, are going to the hospital. Dante’s men follow them. They are constantly under heavy protection.

As soon as they reach the hospital, the guards secure everything and Jennie, who is getting pains more frequently now, is happy the wild ride to the hospital is over. Dante drove like a maniac!

“We need to talk about your driving with the children in the car,” Jennie says as Dante picks her up and carries her into the hospital.

“I know how to drive fast and safely, love. Now is not the time to worry about it,” Dante says. He is hugging Jennie close to him. He can not stand the thought of her going through so much pain. She is his life and the children, of course. She is everything in Dante’s heart, and he loves her with so much passion it scares him. If anything should happen to her, he does not know if he will have the will to live anymore. Dante holds her in his arms like he is carrying a piece of gold. He does not want to put her into the wheelchair the nurse brings them and carries her to the delivery room himself. Instead, he softly lies her down on the bed. The doctor is there in no time as he knows how powerful man Dante is.

The children are taken to the waiting room, where the guards protect them and look after them. Jayden has called his grandparents. It does not take long for the family to start showing up. Jen and Logan are there first, as always. The twins and Jack look worried and lost, but they run to them when they see their grandparents and hold on to them. Jen and Logan know although the trio can act tough and like little adults, sometimes they are just children at heart. So they comfort them, and Jack and Jayden sit on their grandfather’s lap while Jayda sits on her grandmother’s lap.

Jennie is a strong woman, and she does not like to show when she is in pain. So instead, she fights the pain, and although she is sweating and feeling every pain ripping through her body, she keeps a brave face on. Dante holds her hand, and he can feel when she is in pain as she will grab onto his hand and squeeze it hard. He feels proud of her for not showing the pain and pushing when she have to. He comforts her by being by her side, taking a wet, cold cloth, and wiping her forehead. Jennie looks up at him, and he can see the pain in her eyes.

“I love you. You are so strong, and together we will get through this, love,” Dante says. The doctor and nurses can feel the love the two people have for each other, and a few of the nurses has to turn around and wipe tears from their eyes. This is a love everyone in this world deserves.

“I know, babe. We will make it, and the babies will be fine,” Jennie says as she takes Dante’s hand and k****s it.

“Push, I can see the first head,” The doctor says after about two hours of pain. So Jennie gives one last push, and the baby comes out.

“It is a boy!” One of the nurses says. She takes the baby from the doctor as the other baby does not want to wait to come out.

“Push hard again. It looks like baby number two is in a hurry to follow,” The doctor says. Then, the doctor takes out the baby a minute later and smiles.

“It is a girl,” He says. He looked at Jennie with admiration as it was the most uncomplicated birth of twins he had ever had. Jennie is all sweaty, and she feels tired after the birth of the twins. Dante holds his daughter and son and hands them carefully to Jennie. She holds them and smiles up at the man she loves so much.

“We did it, babe! Look at them. They are perfect,” Jennie says. Dante takes his wife in his arms and holds her and the two babies protectively.

“Let us wash them, clean them up, and move them to another room,” The doctor says, but Dante does not want to leave them until they are safely in their private room. He will not allow his twins to be taken to the baby ward, and he even hired a private nurse to look after his children and help their mother until they can go home. Once he is satisfied that they are all okay and his men are at the private room’s door, he walks to the waiting room to inform everyone that Jennie and the babies are okay.

“The babies and Jennie are okay, and they are in a private room, so you can go in and visit them,” Dante says. He first takes the trio to see their mom and their siblings.

“Which one was born first,” Jayden asks.

“Dante was born first,” Jennie says.

“That’s my brother! We need to protect our younger sisters!” Jayden says proudly. They look at their brother and sister, and the trio feels proud as they look cute sleeping. They stay for a while to make sure the babies and their mom are okay. Once they are satisfied, they walk out and give the rest of the family a chance to see them. Dante already arranged with his parents to take the trio with them as he is not planning on leaving Jennie and his babies alone. He will spend the days and nights at the hospital until they can go home. Jen and Logan walk in, and Jen, a doctor, is happy to see that they all are healthy and that Jennie is tired but strong.

“I am so happy that my family is growing, and with each grandchild born, I am becoming richer,” Jen says. She thinks of where she came from with no one. Jen once was an orphan, and look at her now. She has a loving husband, children and grandchildren. She is the happiest woman alive. She hopes her evil stepfather and grandfather see this from hell and realise they could have broken her once, but her family healed her, and she found the perfect love with a big family and people that care for her.

After everyone leaves, Jennie feels Dante gets in bed with her and holds her. She knows he will always love her, and she will always love him. So she holds on to him as he holds on to her.

“Thank you, love, for giving me this chance in life. For seeing my babies be born and being the amazing wife and mother you are,” Dante says.

“I am so happy, babe. I am glad you never gave up on me and came looking for me. I love you, Dante Casella,” Jennie says.

“I love you, Jennifer Casella,” Dante says. He looks out the window and sees a shooting star. He wishes that they will grow old together and see their children being happy.
