Hiding With Her Twin Babies -
Chapter 69
“Who gave you the right to touch my son?” Dante asks Olga. They are waiting for Boris and Andrei as she is family to Boris and Andrei. Dante does not want to cause trouble for Andrei and Boris as the Petrov family is prominent in Russia.
“He is my grandson and nothing of yours! Who gave you the right to adopt him?” Olga asks. She is still very cocky as she thinks Boris and Andrei will come and help her.
“Alexa signed Jack over to us,” Dante says calmly as he is not going to shout and scream like her.
“Where is Alexa?” Olga asks. She has no clue her daughter is dead.
“I don’t know, and I don’t care,” Dante says.
“Well, as soon as I find Alexa, we will make a case against you and that b***h you married. You should have married Alexa, but you went and jumped into Jennie’s bed, and then you accused Alexa of cheating on you! Alexa will forgive you, and you can leave Jennie and marry Alexa,” Olga says. Dante laughs.
“How cute, you think Alexa is alive,” Dante says. Olga sits on a chair, waiting for Andrei and Boris to arrive. She looks at Dante in disbelief.
“You are lying and trying to upset me,” Olga says.
“Did you know she and her husband mistreated Jack?” Dante asks.
“A child needs discipline. They only treated him like a parent should. Unlike your brats that hit an old lady,” Olga says.
“They hit you because you tried to kidnap their brother,” Dante says. He wants to laugh as he looks at Olga. He hair is standing in all directions, and she has a few bruises on her face and legs.
“He is not their brother. He is a Petrov, not and Casella,” Olga says.
“That is not what his adoption papers say,” Dante says. Andrei arrives as he is in the states, and he and Angy are visiting Jen and Logan.
“What is going on here? Why are you here, Olga?” Andrei asks as he walks in.
“You do not respect your elders, Andrei! I am your Aunt! You should call me Aunt Olga,” Olga shouts at Andrei.
“Well, you do not respect any of your family members, and you and your children are only making trouble for the Petrov family,” Andrei says.
“Wait until your father arrives. Then, I will tell him how you talk to me,” Olga says. Olga is his cousin of Boris and Boris has no love loss for Olga. She and her part of the family have been making trouble as far as they go. Her children are all an embarrassment to the Petrov family. Alexa was not a good mother, and Andrei is glad Jennie took little Jack in and treated him like her own child. Dante sees Jack as his son, and he will never let go of Jack. Dante is upset because he knows Jack will be upset about what happened today.
“She tried to kidnap Jack at the school today,” Dante says to Andrei.
“Haven’t you and your daughter put Jack through enough in his short life? Alexa is dead, and I am happy about that. She and that a*****e she was married to are both dead! Jack is satisfied with Jennie and Dante as they treat him like their own child! He is happy for the first time in his short life. You are going to Russia, and you will never set foot out of Russia. If you do, I will make sure you will not live long enough to make any more trouble,” Andrei says. Olga is crying because she thought Dante was trying to upset her when he told her Alexandria was dead, but hearing it from Andrei, she knows it is true.
“My Alexandria is dead. I have no reason to live anymore. My other children are all a disappointment! I do not want to live anymore,” She cries. Andrei and Dante look at each other. They both have the same thought. Like if Alexa was not a disappointment!
“Get over it, Olga. Alexandria was no angel, and she mistreated her child,” Andrei says. He is tired of this woman and her children making trouble for the Petrov family.
“What will happen to me? I have no money and nowhere to live,” Olga asks.
“You will live with your children in Russia, and they will have to look after you. You and your other children will get no more benefits from the Petrov family and will have to work to make an income. We are tired of you and your family. Working will also keep you out of trouble,” Andrei says.
“I have not worked in a long time. Where will I get a job?” Olga cries.
“That is your problem. You have other grandchildren, and I know the only reason you wanted to take Jack was to make us look after you and Jack. Jack is happy with Jennie and Dante, and he will remain with them. So now you have a choice you go back to Russia and stop coursing trouble, or you can go and stay in any other country in the world but the states,” Andrei says. Olga knows her plans have all failed in the past, so she better think of something, or she will die of hunger.
“What if I work for the Petrov family? I will do the books or something,” Olga asks.
“Ha, like I trust you to do our books. You will steal from us, and I know you and your son did it before, so forget about it,” Andrei says.
“I will clean your houses for a place to stay and food. My children are useless and can hardly make ends meet. So I can not go and stay with them. Besides, they do not want me around,” Olga says.
“I can’t say I blame them as you are why they lost everything and are no longer part of the Petrov family. Go back home with my father when he arrives. Maybe he will have more empathy with you,” Andrei says, but he knows that will not happen.
Dante and Andrei want to walk out of the room where they are keeping Olga. Dante wants to make sure Jack is okay and that Jennie is not too upset. As they walk out, a lonely figure slips into the room. Jennie stands in front of Olga. Olga looks at the woman before her, and she feels scared.
“Here are some pills. I know Boris will not be friendly with you, and your life is over anyway. You might as well take your own life, Olga,” Jennie says. Jennie is upset because this is not the first time Olga has tried to ruin her life. Nevertheless, Jennie loves Jack like she loves her own children. She will fight for him as she will fight for Jayda, Jayden, Dante and Delaney. Olga looks at Jennie, and she knows if she does not take these pills out of her own free will, Jennie will force her to take them. She takes the glass of water from Jennie and starts swallowing the pills all at once. She might as well die. Her life is over. As soon as Jennie is sure Olga has taken all the pills and is starting to fall asleep. She runs out of the room and back to her study. Jennie is just back in her office pretending to work when Dante walks in. Jennie took the gloves off and put them back in the box she always keeps them. She uses them in the wintertime when she has to type. She used them a lot in England as the winters there get cold. She did not want any of her fingerprints on the pill bottle. She had had the pills for a while now. She knew it was pills Olga used, and she knew Olga would come back to make trouble. So she always gets the pills in case she needs them. Olga will never touch her children and especially Jack, again.
“Here you are. I was looking all over for you, love,” Dante says.
“Yeah, the twins are sleeping, and I had to change the game. So Jason and I released it on all platforms for gaming. It is doing great, and we wanted to upgrade the graphics,” Jennie says, and that is the truth as she wanted to make the experience for the gamers even more pleasing.
“Are you okay? I was worried that you were upset about Jack almost being kidnapped,” Dante says.
“I was upset, but working calms me,” Jennie says. She gets up and holds onto Dante. He folds his arms around her.
“I love you so much, Dante. Thank you for always being there for our children,” Jennie says.
“I love you, love. You and the children are my world,” Dante says.
“I gave her pills to take. Of course, it will kill her, but it is the prescription she always uses,” Jennie admits to Dante.
“I know. I saw you going in there, but we will keep it a secret. Thank you for trusting me and telling me,” Dante says.
“I did not force her. She took it herself,” Jennie says.
“Good, we can do nothing about suicide,” Dante says, and he hugs his wife closer to him. He is also relieved to know an evil woman like Olga will be gone forever.
“I promised you I could never keep a secret from you, so I had to tell you, baby. I will always worry about our children and especially Jack when she is around,” Jennie says.
“Yes, she would have come back every time, and she would have never left out son in peace,” Dante agrees. He holds Jennie as she cries in his arms, and he k****s the tears away from her cheeks. He will never blame her for what she did as she is only a mother protecting her child.
“Do not worry, love. You did what every mother would do in this world. You protected your child, and I admire you for it. Besides, she had a choice, and she chose the easy way out,” Dante says.
“She knew I would make her take the pills,” Jennie says.
“It was still her choice, not yours. She would have done it anyway,” Dante says. He knows women like Olga. She would only take enough not to kill themselves. Instead, she hopes they will go in and give her food and find her unconscious. Tonight she will get no food, and tomorrow morning it will be too late to save her. Dante and Jennie walk to their bedroom. He tells his men not to give Olga food tonight as she will be leaving in the morning, and he sees no need to feed her. Dante and Jennie stop at Jack’s room to ensure he is okay. As they knock, Jack answers and they go inside. Jack is playing games online with his alliance, and he looks up as he sees Jennie and Dante walk in.
“Mom, Dad, I am okay. I am not a little boy anymore, besides my brother and sister had my back,” Jack says with a smile. He is so proud and happy to be part of this family.
“I am glad you are okay. We are in our room if you need us. No matter the time, we will be awake, and you can come to us anytime you need us,” Jennie says.
“I know, but I am fine, and I will not have nightmares of that old woman. She does not scare me. Nothing scares me anymore as I know I have you and my brothers and sisters that will always be there for me,” Jack says. Jennie and Dante only leave when they are sure Jack is okay.
“He is a strong little man,” Dante says.
“He learns it from his father and brother,” Jennie says proudly.
Dante picks Jennie up and carries her to their bedroom. The babies are still asleep as they quietly peep into the baby room. They are so quiet when they are sleeping. But little devils when they are awake. They can keep Jennie and Dante up all night. Dante and Jennie do not care. They grow up so fast, and one of these days, they will be running around with their siblings, and mom and dad will have to watch as they grow older and go to school. Luckily it is still a few years. Dante k****s Jennie and holds her in his arms as the couple stares down on their perfect babies.
