Jannat fell asleep with a book on her chest, Zaroon felt a warm feeling filling him up. He went near her and sat on the ground. He looked at her closed lids intently, he didn't know for how long, he would be able to stay away. He wanted to touch her, kiss her, end all the space which she kept between them." He took her upstairs to their room and laid her on the bed, then headed back downstairs.

Around 4 pm, he was still busy in his office, when the caretaker came in and told him that his family was here.

I wasn't even able to believe that you did it until Hassan confirmed " Mrs. Shah said. Zaroon held her hand "Mom, it didn't happen in a way that I could inform you or invite you at that time."

"So it's true? The other rumors..." Mrs. Shah asked a bit sadly.

"Mom !don't believe anything, she is my choice, my wife. It was going to happen anyway. It's just that the situation was not ideal." Zaroon said.

"What situation ?"Mr. Shah asked.

Zaroon came near her and held her shoulders in a tight grip " Jannat, don't forget the relationship we have. I am not pushing you, doesn't mean I have forgotten that you are my wife. I can touch you on how much I want. Don't test my patience" Zaroon said sternly and turned away. He didn't want to see the tears filling her eyes.
