It’s been two years since Zane and I met but one 1year nine months and ten days since he left me. He still hasn’t called or texted me.

Dad has been training me and I can safely say I am a better warrior now, I can even beat half of the pack warriors.

Living here has been amazing I now have two best friends Luka and BeBe and also Juanita and another one Shaira who is mated to one of my bodyguards Gabriel. Yep, I have two bodyguards who go where ever I go. Dad is super protective of me, he makes sure I tell him where ever I go.

I was currently in the living room with Juanita, Shaira, and other friends planning a surprise birthday party for Luka and BeBe. Luka’s birthday is just a day before BeBe’s so we are planning a party for both which will be held on April tenth, which is today Luka’s birthday but the gifts will be given on the eleventh, tomorrow BeBe’s birthday. I was only like eleven days older than Luka and twelve days older than BeBe

“Is everything set?” I asked Juanita who was working on the decorations.

“Yes, Luna I mean Scarlet everything is all set. “

“What about the cake is it ready too we only have an hour before they show up everything has to be perfect..” I said

“Don’t worry about it just go get read..” We had planned to start the party at 8 pm till 1 am much to Dad and uncle Dean’s dismay because according to them a seventeen-year-old shouldn’t be partying but after I buttered them up telling them we would be safe they agreed.

“What do you mean get ready? I am already dressed, is the dress not appropriate, or is my makeup is not okay.?” I was wearing a mid-thigh red dress that had a full neckline but short sleeves.

“No, I meant to get everyone ready and see if Breana and Lucas are already dressed..” She said making me glare at her. This had to be perfect.

“Is everyone in position?” I asked loud enough for everyone to hear. The living room had been turned into a party hall and everyone had already gathered we were only waiting for BeBe and Luka.

“Yes Scarlet..” they all said.

I quickly texted mom telling her that everything was ready.

“Mom please tell me why I had to dress up and why you kept me locked in my room?” I heard BeBe ask.

“They are here..” Juanita whispered.

“SURPRISE!!” We all shouted once they entered and aunt switched on the lights.

“Oh my gosh, I can’t believe this!!! This is so awesome..!!!” BeBe squeaked running to hug me.

“Thank you sweet Angel thank you so much..” She said kissing my cheeks well I giggled.

“Happy birthday BeBe..” I said to her.

“Happy birthday to you too Luka..” I said to him as he just stood there looking at the place in awe

“Thank you so much, Angel! You really are an Angel. This is amazing..” he said hugging me.

“You are welcome now time to cut the—” I started but the door opening cut me off I was not expecting the person who showed up nor was I expecting the girl he came with.

“Brother..” BeBe squeaked running towards Aaron engulfing him in a bear hug. “I missed you so much..”

“Missed you too strawberry happy birthday..” He said.

I stood there my anger flaring but was holding back I worked so hard to make this party-perfect. She was standing there acting all shy and scared.

“Angel are you okay?” Mom asked standing next to me while aunt Melissa stood on my other side.

“What is she doing here?” I said gritting my teeth it was other than SASHA.

“Calm down Scarlet you killed Skylar remember?”

“Yes Mom I do remember but she could have resurrected!” I snapped I didn’t mean to I was just angry that she was here again in this house.

“Mom..” Aaron said coming towards aunt Melissa hugging her while I gave death looks to SASHA.

“This is my mate Brook Powers and Brook this is my Mom..” He introduced me to it while I glared.

“Nice to uh meet you, Brook..” the aunt said.

“Hi Scarlet..” Aaron said nervously I didn’t even spare him a glance my eyes were focused on her if she came back and tried to seduce Aaron again I swear I am going to kill her. I saw her cower by my intense gaze hiding behind Aaron. Now everyone was quietly watching the drama unfold. Most of the teens here at the party knew what happened almost two years ago.

“Angel I think you need some rest come on..” Mom said pulling me away while I glared at her.

*Aaron pov*

I watched as aunt took Scarlet away. I knew something like this would happen but I am glad it wasn’t a big scene.

“I think she hates me and I don’t know why..” Brook mumbled.

“Don’t worry love, she just confused you with someone else..” I kissed her forehead. I do remember clearly what happened to me and the fact that I was brainwashed by Skylar but when I met Brook something in me drew me closer to her and my Wolf Marcos was sure she was the one. Brook had it tough. I met her a year ago in London, I was driving back to my apartment when she came out of nowhere falling in front of my car. She was bruised and badly injured not because I ran her over by my car but because she was tortured and abused by her pack. That night I found her was the night she decided to run away. I have been by her side ever since and it was only last month that she accepted me and agreed to come to meet my family.

“Come on everyone time to sing happy birthday..” I heard Juanita’s voice as everyone gathered around the table. We all sang happy birthday to my sister and cousin then they started partying while I went to my room with my mate.

I was angry no not angry but furious SASHA was back again hanging on Aaron’s arm, that girl never learned. I grabbed my bottle of perfume throwing it on my floor length mirror shattering it into pieces

“Angel please calm down..” Mom said she and Dad were currently in my room trying to calm me but I was beyond pissed.

“Maybe it’s not her just take a nap and relax okay?” I didn’t want to take a nap I want to kill Sasha.

“Angel calm down..” Dad said holding my hand and sitting me on the bed while my breathing was heavy with anger, “Listen to your mom and take a nap, okay everything will be okay tomorrow.”

” No Dad as long as that which is in this house nothing will ever be okay!!” I angrily said.

“Yes okay you are too angry and we don’t want you doing something you regret by killing an innocent person so how about you just sleep and then we will talk tomorrow morning okay?” I took calming breaths.

“Fine!” I said, ” What about the party?” I asked

“Don’t worry Juanita is taking care of everything..” Mom said I nodded my head going to the bathroom to remove my makeup. After I was done and changed into comfortable clothes. I came out.

Mom and Dad led me to Zane’s room since mine had shattered glasses everywhere.

“Don’t come out of your room until tomorrow okay? good night..” Dad said kissing my forehead while I nodded my head Mom did the same too and they both left the room closing the door behind them.

I lay on the bed cuddling Juan Michael and before long sleep caught up to me.
