Zane asked if she was okay but she shook her head running up to her room he was about to run after her when Mom told him to let her be but he insisted and after a few minutes Dad got up telling us that she was in trouble. We all went into her room and as usual, she was crying sitting on her bed with only a comforter covering her. Zane was furiously pacing around the room with his knuckles bloody.

He told us everything about how he found the man about to rape her again and how he beat him up but the man disappeared into thin air.

Zoey took a razor and slit her wrist again but Zane was quickly by her side healing her..” oh no she really did go through a lot.

” once Zoey saw that her wrist was better she furiously got up from bed naked might I add then went into the bathroom while we all stood there wondering whether to go in or not.

After thirty minutes she came out with her beautiful red hair cut really short. Shorter than mine such that you can’t even comb it. She was wearing a towel and her skin was red. She went into her closet wore appropriate clothes then came out and wrote on a paper telling us that she wanted everyone to gather around for a family meeting.

Once everyone had gathered she wrote again on the paper that she knew who it was that did it to her. Dad asked her who but instead, she removed her shirt revealing some kind of a tattoo that was covering most of her back and stomach. And one word made us all angry.

“Mom dad..” she said hugging them both while Mom cried hearing her call Mom.

She told them she was sorry and she had to leave.

We asked her where she was going but she didn’t say instead all she said was that war was coming and she needed to prepare if we were going to win..” Zoey knew about the war???

“She left the room going outside to the garden where a mysterious door was planted there no one knew where the door came from but it seemed that Zoey knew.

She told us that she was going to find her mate and when the time comes she will come back and help in the war.

Dad told her that if she decides to leave he will never accept her as his own and she agreed to tell Zara to take care of her baby and to keep the family together with that said she opened the mysterious door then vanished door disappearing too. Zara went back inside packed all her belongings picked up Charlene then left breaking all ties with us since then I have never seen them. After they both left I asked Mom and Dad to take me to a boarding school in Italy that is why I never lived here. I only came back when I heard that Zane had left and I also felt that it was time to let the past go though I miss my sisters very much..” he sobbed.

I pulled him into a hug dating his back.

“Life is so unfair sometimes..” I mumbled while I just held on to him letting him pour out all his emotions and pain.

“Bang! bang! bang!..” the banging on my window broke us apart I quickly wiped away my tears Luka doing the same turning around to see a furious Zane standing there. Was he angry because I was hugging Luka?

“I hope you got the information you needed to find my sisters I will just leave..” Luka said getting out of the car I watched as he disappeared into the building.

I looked at Zane who was still furious.

He opened the door to my car pulling me out then hugging me really close saying mine mine mine.

“What were you both talking about?” he asked breaking the hug.

“Just some stuff don’t worry about it..” I brushed him off.

“It’s nothing really he was just telling me about your sisters..” I said he nodded his head.

“By the way, I went to your office and Asuncion told me that you are going home are you okay Is something wrong? is it the baby.?” he frantically asked making me giggle.

“Zane we’ve talked about this remember there is no baby yet. I just feel a little headache and tired..” he sighed opening the car door and I got in.

“I will take you home..” he said driving away.

“You guys are back early is something wrong? is Angel sick? Is it the baby?” Mom asked checking me up. I sighed

“Mom there is no baby yet I am fine..” I said going up the stairs. This baby drama was now getting out of hand they expect me to get pregnant as if I am some God who will immediately pop out a baby when they asked for it. Plus I have plenty to deal with especially the fact that a war is coming and I have to find Zara.

I removed my shoes laying on the bed the headache intensifying

“Cupcake are you sure you are okay?” Zane asked sitting beside me I didn’t even realize he had entered the room.

“Yeah, I am fine don’t worry about it..” He lay next to me pulling me to him his scent engulfing me and I was out like a light.

My phone ringing woke me up I yawned grabbing it from the nightstand.

I looked over at Zane’s side of the bed and it was empty.

“Hello..” I answered the call.

“Hi, Mrs black I have some lead on where Zara might be just like you ask..” Mr. Nuñez said and I smiled

” Great I will be there in a few minutes just texted me the address..” I said hanging up a few minutes later he texted.

Mr. Nuñez: Room twenty-seven hotel Elizabeth.

I got dressed in more comfortable clothes then grabbed my phone and purse.

“Where are you going.?” Zane stopped me.

“I am just going to get something in town I will be back later..”

“In town? Cupcake this is like 7 pm I am going with you..” he said.

“No no it’s fine Zane really I will be fine..” I kissed his cheek going out to my car. I know I know I shouldn’t have lied to him but I wanted to do this alone.

After twenty minutes I finally arrived at the hotel.

“What are you doing here?” I turned around to see Luka coming out of a room with some girl I narrowed my eyes at him

“Bye handsome hope to do this again later..” she kissed his cheek and left

“Really Luka?” I asked in disbelief.

“Well a guy gotta have some fun plus it’s not like I have a mate or anything so tell me why are you at a hotel and alone without my brother?” He asked his turn narrowing his eyes
