All personnel took safety measures during the transfer as they had limited knowledge about the virus. All they knew was that experts within the country were researching it, and a vaccine development project had been launched, although it had yet to succeed.

Lily chose a small hospital in the suburb of Kingsland instead of a larger hospital in the city for two reasons. First, she worried that the virus would spread in a crowded area.

Second, even though it was a small hospital, she could access all the necessary equipment and workforce through the Russell family's influence. Therefore, it was okay if its location was a bit remote. They transferred Alexander discreetly and did not reveal it to outsiders. Even those who came to escort Alexander were chosen among his most loyal bodyguards to ensure everyone would keep it a secret. Alexander's condition was somewhat stable during the journey, although he remained feverish and did not wake up. He also looked pale and emaciated. Maria happily asked the maids to prepare two more dishes in the kitchen. Her mind was at ease as Rhea had stayed home and did not go to the laboratory for the last two days.

She heard that the laboratory had moved to an unknown address and was worried because someone had gone missing. 'It would be best if she stays by my side and not go to the lab.'

As Cameron's attitude had changed completely, Fabian was also in a good mood for the last two days. The man spoke in a different tone and even voluntarily called Fabian to mention the project and told him to wait patiently. Fabian felt it was due to his daughter's secret.

'I wonder what kind of top secret it is. If I'd known earlier, I wouldn't have wasted so much effort since I could've easily secured the project.'

When it was lunchtime, the house smelled of delicious food.

"Yes," Rhea answered blandly. She did not go to the dining table and instead walked to the foyer to change her shoes. "I'm going now."

"Hey, it's lunchtime. Why are you going out now? Have your lunch first. You shouldn't stay hungry, okay? I know you haven't had your breakfast. Come on!" Having gotten closer to her daughter over the last two days, Maria hurriedly walked over to pull her hand.

She did not dare to do so before, but now she was holding Rhea's hand. She felt that Rhea had only talked tough but would help her parents during crucial moments.

When Marie pulled her along, Rhea took two steps frowningly and glanced at the clock. Since Rhea was not in a hurry and was somewhat hungry, she followed her mother to the dining table.
