"You're right!" Alexander nodded and immediately called his henchman. It turned out that other cars were coming in and out.

Lily stood up from his lap and walked to the side so as not to disrupt him. At this time, she felt a vibration in her pocket. She had silenced her phone when she went to sleep. When she took it out, she saw a message from Olivia. "Did you find him?"

After receiving Lily's voice message and knowing that she was not asleep, Olivia immediately called. "Where did Edward go?"

"He drove to a highly-classified area, and Alex's men couldn't follow him in. They could only guard the gates. Although they did not see Edward's car coming out, we had no idea if he had changed into another car. We don't know if he's still inside or not."

After thinking for a while, Lily continued, "However, judging from Edward's state, he is deliberately hiding this from you. Whether he is helping someone or being coerced, there seems to be no danger for now. He is still... valuable."

"Are you saying that he might be used?!" Olivia was surprised. "By whom? Also, what place did Edward go to that Alex can't get in?"

"Don't worry," Lily reassured her. "Alex is sending someone to investigate further. You should wait at home. If Edward returns, pretend nothing happened. Don't ask any questions. We'll see what he wants to do."
