Spoiled by mr. russell chapter 2078-Mike held his neck, which the man nearly grabbed just now, thinking, 'That was too close.'

He looked at Fred and saw the man casually watching the fight. The latter seemingly enjoyed the show as he narrowed his eyes scrutinizingly.

After exchanging several blows, the two men shoved each other away. The man was about to charge toward Alexander again when Fred said, "That's enough, Verne. They're our guests."

Verne stopped himself and stepped aside. He returned to his initial spot and gazed at Alexander.

"You're an excellent fighter, Mr. Russell. Your country indeed has a wide range of talents." Fred clapped but did not sound sincere.

Alexander smoothed a wrinkle on his shirt and said blandly, "Well, your man is quite impressive too."

"He's just a so-so fighter. Don't mind him," Fred said while looking at his guard indifferently.

However, Verne remained impassive and stared at Alexander like he was dangerous. Fred cleared his throat and said, "I understand how you feel, but Lily didn't come here. Still, I hope to work with her, so...

"I'll try and think of ways to help you. Oh, isn't Hyderland's police efficient? You should call them if you can't find Lily. I'm confident you can quickly locate her with your connection to Secretary Rollins."

After a pause, Fred added, "I still have matters to tend to, so please excuse me."

Mike knew he was about to leave and grew anxious.

'Sh*t! How can we leave without accomplishing anything?'

"We'll see ourselves out." Alexander also got up and saw Fred turning away. The former said casually, "You're right about one thing. Finding someone with the help of Hyderland's police isn't difficult, just as it isn't easy to create trouble in our country.

"I'm sure you appreciate how safe Hyderland is, right?"

Fred stopped and turned smilingly. "Yes, I do. I like everything here! Please inform me if you hear from Lily. I'd love to meet her."

"Sure."

Fred then turned and left.

Mike glanced over his shoulder as they left the embassy and growled, "Seriously? Are we just going to leave with nothing?"

He had expected to gain helpful information here. However, they got nothing and got treated like fools.

'How can that man pretend not to have seen Lily when it's so clear they're holding her hostage? What an *sshole!'

Mike had met various unreasonable people during his business dealings. Still, he never expected someone of that stature to act so despicably.

"What else could we do?" Alexander looked calm. "Drop our pretense, kick up a storm, and get kicked out? What would happen then? We ask the government to get involved?"

Mike was stumped but knew Alexander was right, despite his anger.
