The two frolicked with each other for a while before finally parting breathlessly.

Lily's lips were red and swollen as she struggled to move to the side and away from him. She refused to sit with him any longer! With this lunatic, she felt she would have been torn apart if they had continued. "Come here," Alexander called in a low voice as he patted his thighs, obviously dissatisfied.

"No! Let me rest!"

After straightening out her clothes, she began to wonder if he came home just for this as a form of compensation.

"Rest in my arms, then,"

He insisted, patting his thighs again.

"Alex!"

Lily yelped when she saw him getting up.

"If you're not coming, I'll come over there!"

"Stop!"

She gestured before quickly changing the subject, "So, did you send your aunt away?"

Sure enough, as soon as his aunt was mentioned, he immediately froze, and all his playfulness slipped away.

He slowly sat down again and answered, "Yes."

"I've met her once before. Although I didn't think that you two had a good relationship, I didn't think she was a thorn that could hurt me."

Lily's curiosity grew when she noticed how he reacted when the Russells were mentioned. She wanted to know what they did to make him despise them so much. "All right, we won't talk about them anymore. You don't have to think about it either now that she's gone."

Lily stood up and walked over to pull him up.

"It's rare that you're home so early. Go out with me!"

"Where are we going?" Alexander looked up at her.

"Shopping! We haven't shopped together in a long time.I want to buy some clothes."

He raised his eyebrow when he heard this. It was rare for Lily to want to buy clothes.

The only things that she would always buy were perfume ingredients and raw materials. She wasn't picky about what she ate or what she wore.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I need clothes to wear as well!" Lily exclaimed feebly.

"Do you? Even if you choose not to, I won't mind!"

Alexander scanned her from head to toe.

Although they had been intimate more times than he could count, thinking about it still turned him on.

"I mind!"

She cried loudly while tugging at him.

"Hurry up.Let's go! I'm suffocating at home!"

Although she would often stay home and did not enjoy shopping in the past, there was still a fundamental difference between staying at home on her own initiative and being forced to. At least, that was how she felt.

Alexander was in a daze when he saw how happy she was.

As he straightened up, he looked at the blown-up photo of the two hanging in the living room.

Even though it was not their wedding picture and was taken on a whim, he liked it very much, and so did she.
