Chapter 633: Taking the Opportunity to Stay Overnight

After receiving Yanis' gaze, Zane lifted his foot and approached Bonnie. Before reaching out to help her up, he whispered, "If she vomits on me again, I'm going to throw her on the ground." Yanis nodded in agreement.

Zane didn't expect Yanis to agree so readily and looked at her suspiciously before lifting Bonnie out of the car. He thought Stella would be waiting downstairs but when Yanis and Zane brought Bonnie inside, Stella had already climbed upstairs by herself.

After helping Bonnie upstairs, Yanis turned to Zane and said, "Wait for me downstairs. I'll help them clean up and come down later." Knowing that he couldn't be of any help with what was coming next, Zane lef the room and closed the door behind him.

Once Zane left, Yanis helped Bonnie take off her clothes before putting her in bed. She then pulled Stella up to help remove her clothes as well before covering them both with a blanket. After using makeup remover on both girls' faces and washing their faces clean, Yanis went downstairs.

Zane was sitting on the couch below with his head down lost in thought when Yanis came down stairs quietly behind him. Just as she raised her hand to pat his shoulder, Zanesuddenly turned around looking right ather.

Their eyes met, and there was a momentary pause between them. The atmosphere became tense for a few seconds. Zanereached outand grabbed Yanishalf-raised hand, pulling it towards himselfand rubbing it againsthis own head twice, "Is this fun?"he asked casually. Yanisclearedher throatand withdrewherhand,"Anyway, you should take off your clothes first. I'll find you something fromBonnie's storeto wear." There wouldn't be any men's clothing in Yanishouse so she had no choice butto find something from Bonnie's storeforZaneto wear. She led him intoherroom where shewas sure there were no cameras or anything else that could record their movements."This shirt is new. Wendy has cleaned it thoroughly, and ironed it too. You can wear this one first. I'll wash your other clothes."

Zanelooked down at his pants after taking off his coat. Then he looked back upatYanissaying,"Yanis, the pants are dirty too."Yanis: "... Did it get dirty too?"

Zane stepped forward, letting Yanis see the wet spot on his pants.

Yanis cursed Bonnie in her heart and said, "I'll go find you another pair of pants."

After speaking, Yanis quickly turned around and left the room to help Zane find a new pair of pants.

It was a coincidence that today all the pants in Bonnie's store that were the same size as Zane's had either been cleaned or rented out. Yanis searched for a long time but couldn't find any suitable ones. Just when Yanis was about to give up hope, she suddenly remembered that Myles had stayed here twice before and must have some clothes here. So she went to Bonnie's room to look for them. She searched through the closet but only found one of Myles' jackets; there were no other clothes available.

Yanis sighed as she looked at Bonnie sleeping soundly on the bed; she wanted nothing more than to drag her off it. But considering how upset Bonnie was tonight, Yanis decided against it.

Returning to the room, Yanis saw Zane sitting on a chair waiting for her with no luck finding him new pants yet. She pursed her lips and said, "Well... it seems like there isn't anything you can wear right now... so why don't you just make do?"

Zane frowned slightly at this suggestion and replied," I washed them just now so they should be dry soon."

Knowing that Zane wouldn't settle for less than what he wanted, Yanishesitatedfora few seconds before saying, "Why don't you take them off? I'll wash them quickly, and then we can usethe dryer. Itshouldbe fine afterthat."

Zanesaid nothingand stood up, taking off hispantsand handingthemto Yanisasheacceptedthemwithher gaze drifting away from him. She tookthe pantstogether withhis shirtand jacket which he had takenoff earlier, andquickly headed towards laundryroomoutside. Zanelooked at Yani's retreating figure, hissmilewideningashe thought about how lucky hewas. He knewitwasstillabitcoldwithoutpants, but staying overwas still worthit. Infact, Zanedecidedto treatBonnieoutfordinner sometime soon!

After washing all of their clothes clean, Yanistookthembackinside afterdryinginthesame machine. Zanesleptsoundlyonthebedwithhalfthecoverblanketinghislowerbodywhilehismidsectionremainedexposed. Yanismade sureto coverhimproperlybeforeheadingofftobed herself, satisfied thattheyhad both managedtosolve theirclothingcrisisforthenight. Yanis stood at the door for a moment, but ultimately decided not to wake the person inside. Hanging up her freshly dried clothes, she grabbed her coat and headed into the bathroom.

After showering and drying her hair, Yanis sat down at her desk to work on some unfinished sketches. However, with someone else in the room now, she found it difficult to concentrate and eventually gave up. Yanis' bed wasn't very big, but it was enough for two people. She sat in a chair staring at it for a while before finally getting up and lying down on Zane's side of the bed.

After a night of tossing and turning, Yanis was exhausted. She didn't have time to think about anything else as she quickly fell asleep.

Zane had actually been awake all night long. Once he was sure that Yanis had fallen asleep too, he turned over to face her.

"Yanis?" Zane whispered softly.

Yanis didn't move at all as Zane pulled them closer together and wrapped his arms around her. In that moment of holding Yanis close to him like this, Zane felt all his emotions dissipate into thin air. The feeling of having Yanis in his arms was like having everything in the world right there with him.

That night Yanis slept soundly without any dreams disturbing her restful slumber. When she opened her eyes again though, she froze upon seeing Zane's face so close by.

Staring intently at him for what seemed like an eternity caused Yanis' movements to become stiff before slowly lowering both hands back down again.

She remembered seeing him before falling asleep last night; now here he was when she woke up this morning too.

This feeling still made Yanist heart race even after thinking carefully about their relationship during this period of time.

She knew deep down that no one could ever replace Zane's place in heart; it never wavered once since they met each other.

It seemed as if only when facing others did she manage keep calm while secretly harboring feelings for him alone. Bonnie's words along with Ivan's were heard loud and clear by Yannis but making decisions hastily just didn't seem right either way...
