Albi closed the car door and sat in the passenger seat, then drove away from D-king Castle. He gave Zane a detailed account of what he had found out about Samuel. "Mr. Lawrence, Samuel has done a lot of things that can be easily discovered with just a little investigation. But I'm curious as to why no one has reported him despite all his loopholes." Albi was shocked when he saw the information he had gathered. However, Samuel still held his position securely.

Zane looked at the information that Albi had sent him on his phone and said, "Most people in West City have been taken care of by the Marsh family so naturally no one will report anything. Besides, with Kellar around, who would dare to do such a thing?"

Albi thought Zane made sense when he heard this.

If anyone dared to report Samuel behind Kellan's back, Kellan wouldn't let them off easily.

So even if someone felt unhappy about it deep down inside they wouldn't dare to report Samuel because of Kellan's presence.

After reading through all the information Zane said, "Print these documents out and put them up where Samuel works."

Albi replied, "Okay I'll send someone over this afternoon."

Zane nodded in agreement.

After some time passed, Zane seemed to remember something and looked up at Albi."By the way, is Darin still in Manches City recently?"

Hearing Zane's question Albi answered truthfully, "I heard Mr. Walsh wants to collaborate with Mrs. Lawrence so Darin has been staying in Manches City recently."

Zane had also heard about Darin collaborating with Yanis before but didn't ask much after that since he wanted Yanis to have some freedom regarding jewelry design matters.

"I'll contact him later tonight and meet up with him."

"Okay."

Yanis woke up again close to noon time feeling exhausted due to Zanes sudden madness earlier that morning. It felt like she was being disassembled piece by piece making her feel weak all over. She got up, went into bathroom, and took a quick shower which made her feel slightly better. Afterwards, she went downstairs where her housekeeper greeted her immediately saying, "Mrs. Lawrence, you're awake now!" Yanis replied, "Is there any food ready yet?"

"Yes, Miss. Your husband instructed me before leaving today. I'll bring it out for you now."As Auntie finished speaking, she turned and went into the kitchen. Soon, she brought out several dishes and placed them on the dining table.

"Why so much?" Yanis asked.

"Mr. Lawrence specifically instructed me before he left that you like these dishes, so I prepared a little of everything," Auntie replied.

Yanis looked at the table full of food that she loved and couldn't help but smile. Before starting to eat, Yanis took a photo and sent it to Zane.

Zane's response came quickly: [Eat more, you worked hard this morning.]

When Yanis saw Zane's message, her lips couldn't help but curl up in a smile. She quickly suppressed it and put her phone aside to start eating.

Perhaps because she had expended too much energy in the morning, Yanis ate quite a bit.

After finishing her meal, Yanis tidied up before heading straight to the studio. Bonnie had asked her to rush out a pair of rings for today's store delivery.

After receiving the package from Bonnie earlier on when looking for her later on at work, Yanis discovered that Bonnie was not there. "Linda, where is your boss?" Seeing Linda busy organizing things but no sign of Bonnie around, Yanis asked as soon as possible. Linda stopped what she was doing upon hearing Yanis' voice. "The boss went out; should be back soon."

"You guys have taken another wedding planning job?" Looking at what Linda was fiddling with, Yanis spoke up with curiosity.

Linda nodded, "Yes we did; we even took two more jobs after this one. We're going to be busy."

Without disturbing Linda any further, Yanis turned around and headed back into her own shop.

Bonnie only returned after 1 pm, sweating profusely from heat exhaustion. She rushed straight into Yanis' shop, picked up a cup from the table, and drank several sips of water."Where are they?" Seeing how anxious Bonnie was, Yanissaid, "What were you doing? You're all hot like this?"

Bonnie breathed heavily,"I went over there to check things out. The weather is so hot today. I should have changed it for an afternoon time slot."

Yanisthen handed overthe ring boxtoher."Is it suitable?"

Bonnie reached outto takeitbut then pulledbackher hand again."Wait for me while I wash my hands. I don't want them getting dirty."

Yaniscould only watch as Bonniewentintothe bathroomand washed herhandsbeforecomingouttocarefully pick upthering box. "Although Myles has already proposed, I still have my own plans,"said Bonnie "What plans do you have?"asked Yannis

"To propose myself!"Yanis looked at her helplessly. "Can you wear one more ring on your hand?"

Bonnie looked at the ring on her hand. "I wear the one he bought for me, and he took me to buy this one. It's fair, isn't it? Who says only men can propose? Women can do it too."

Bonnie tried on the engagement ring and held out her hand in front of herself to take a closer look. "I think it looks great."

Yanis thought so too. "Let Myles try it on another day. If it doesn't fit, I'll adjust it for you guys."

Bonnie carefully put away the rings like they were treasures. "Okay, I'm not in a hurry now that I have them until after my proposal is done."

After putting away the rings, Bonnie turned to Yanis with a serious expression and said: "Yanis, there's something I want to ask you for help with; please promise me that you'll do this." When Yanis heard Bonnie's request, he felt uneasy but still nodded when he saw how sincere she was being.

"Promise me first," Bonnie insisted.

Yanis hesitated for a few seconds before finally agreeing: "You're not going to ask me to do anything crazy again are you?"

Bonnie shook her head firmly: "No way."

"Okay," Yanis agreed reluctantly.

As soon as Yanis finished speaking, Bonnie clapped her hands together excitedly and said: "Yanis! Can you go run an errand for me? I need your help with something important!" Yanis was speechless.

Without waiting for any objections or refusals from Yanis, Bonnie grabbed what she needed and walked out while saying: "Just follow what we did last time; everything will be fine! Thanks so much!" Watching Bonnie leave without any hesitation or explanation left Yanin shaking his head in disbelief.

Linda came over shortly after carrying some things with her.

"Come on," Linda urged him impatiently. "We need to go check out the venue."

"Is everything ready already?" asked Yanin curiously.

"The other event hasn't started yet," Linda explained as they walked towards their destination. "We just need to take a look around first then plan accordingly."

"Did our boss leave already?"

Linda nodded but seemed puzzled by something else."She left humming happily; no idea why she suddenly got so excited."

"She completed some major life event," replied Yannis casually.

"What kind of life event besides getting married could make our boss that happy?" questioned Linda curiously.
