I Become A CEO After Divorce
Chapter 689: So, Myles, Do You Want To Marry Me?

Chapter 689: So, Myles, do you want to marry me?

Bonnie looked at him speechlessly. "Are you still in elementary school? Do we have to hold hands to go to the bathroom?"

Myles laughed. "I'm just worried about bad guys here."

Bonnie said, "Which bad guy would dare to bully me in front of Mr. Myles?"

Myles chuckled at her words. "Okay, go ahead, but take your time."

Bonnie nodded and turned towards the direction of the restroom.

After a few steps, she turned back and saw that no one was paying attention. Bonnie changed direction and walked towards the other side.

The bartender who had been talking with Yanis earlier was already waiting on one side when Bonnie arrived. He took a couple of steps forward as she approached him and said, "Miss Cooke." Bonnie nodded her head and asked, "Where are my things?"

"They're all inside," replied the bartender as he led Bonnie into an empty room on one side.

After checking everything carefully inside the room and making sure everything was okay, Bonnie picked up all her things and said to the bartender: "Get ready now; I'll give you a signal when it's time." The bartender nodded his head in agreement: "All right then; I'll make sure everyone is ready."

"Thanks," replied Bonnie before changing into some new clothes and touching up her makeup before walking out again while signaling someone nearby.

Soon after that gesture from Bonnie, all of the lights inside of bar changed color - they were now warmer-looking lights than before.

The upbeat music also switched over to something much softer sounding than what had been playing earlier.

"Myles!" shouted out Bonnie loudly after coming out from one side area within earshot range where Myles was still chatting with Evan over some details which made their faces turn red with anger during their argument!

Upon hearing this voice suddenly calling his name like that so loudly across such distance between them both caused Myles' body reflexively turning around immediately toward its source without even thinking twice about it!

When he saw how stunningly beautiful she looked wearing an elegant dress while holding onto a bouquet full of roses standing not too far away from him... he became completely stunned for several seconds! Evan noticed this reaction quickly enough under these circumstances by tapping on Myle's leg underneath table discreetly: "What are you waiting for? Stand up!"

Myles slowly stood up looking somewhat dazed as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing right there in front of his eyes!

"B-Bonnie?" stuttered out Myle's words hesitantly upon seeing how gorgeous she appeared standing there only several feet away from him while taking slow steps closer until finally stopping just short distance away saying:

"Myles... I like you!"

Upon hearing those words spoken directly by her lips so close proximity suddenly made everything else fade away into background noise leaving only this moment between them two alone together!"Let me finish what I have to say," Bonnie interrupted Myles. "I know I have a bad temper and often pick fights with you for no reason. I get angry easily, even if it's not my fault, and take it out on you. But every time, you're the one who compromises, who soothes me, who apologizes first."

"I'm also very selfish and always want to be the only one in your world. I don't like it when you pay attention to other men!"

Evan choked a little and whispered back, "I don't always hang around Myles."

Myles glared at Evan.

Evan rubbed his nose and looked away.

"But I'll mature slowly," Bonnie continued. "I won't blow up at you for no reason or ignore you all the time. I'll learn to compromise with you and tolerate your flaws. And everything that you've done for me before will be returned by me."

Holding flowers in her hands, Bonnie took two steps forward towards Myles until they were close together.

"So Myles," she said as she handed him the flowers. "Will you marry me?"

Without hesitation, Myles took her hand."Yes!"

As soon as he spoke, the crowd erupted into cheers.

Myles held onto Bonnie tightly, kissing her deeply while everyone cheered them on.

"That's enough now," Evan couldn't help but whisper after watching them kiss for so long.

Finally, Myles let go of Bonnie, and noticed there was a small box attached to the bouquet of flowers she had given him earlier.

"Why are in such a hurry? Haven't finished talking yet!" he joked

The people around laughed at his words

"Sorry about that. Want me to repeat?" he asked

Bonnie looked at him helplessly, taking out the ring from inside of box, and put it on his finger. This morning, Bonnie had asked Mylesto leave this ringat home temporarily. So now, it was perfect timingto putit onhis finger. Mylesthen realized why Bonniewantedhimto leave theringsathomeearlier today.

"Bonnie, when didyou preparethis?"Bonnie didn't say anything, she handed him the engagement ring and then extended her own hand, the meaning was clear.

Myles helped Bonnie put on the ring and then lowered his head to kiss her finger where the ring sat.

"So you invited us out for dinner tonight just to show off?" Evan asked as he looked at the two of them.

Myles naturally pulled Bonnie into his arms. "If you feel left out, you can show us up too."

Evan choked a little. "Your brother is still single, why should I be in a hurry?"

Haider waved his hand. "Don't drag me into this, I'm not participating."

Myles raised an eyebrow at Evan. "Look around here besides my brother; you're the only single one here."

Evan snorted lightly. "I'm happy being single."

The group continued to make noise until nearly dawn before they dispersed.

Tonight Myles had been arguing with Evan and both of them had drunk quite a bit by night's end.

But compared to Evan, Myles was still somewhat sober.

"Still drinking?" Myles provocatively looked at Evan.

"Alright already, go back home now. I'll take him back," Haider reached over and helped Evan up from beside him. "He can't even drink another sip like this."

Myles laughed and waved towards Haider. "Then we'll head back first."

Myles responded as he looked towards Bonnie. "Drive slowly on your way back."

"Okay."

"Bonnie, shall we also head back?" Yanis said goodbye to Bonnie before leaving with Zane first.

"I'll help you support him onto the car," Ivan said as he looked at Myles hanging onto Bonnie's body.

Bonnie shook her head: "No need; you guys go ahead slowly."

"Let Ivan help," Mila wasn't in a hurry either as she watched Myles hanging onto Bonnie's body completely.

Bonnie glanced at Myles: "Can you walk by yourself?"

Miles shook his head: "Need... to... carry..."

Bonnie sighed before looking towards Ivan: "Then it's trouble for you."

Ivan stepped forward to support Miles while saying: "Don't be so polite with me."

After helping Miles get into the car, Ivan finally left along with Mila.

Bonnie watched as Miles leaned against her passenger seat, she reached out and poked his face "Miles."

"Hmm?"

Bonnie leaned closer "We have to always be together."After hearing Bonnie's words, Myles opened his eyes and looked at her. He smiled at her and said in a low, deep voice, "I must obey my wife's orders!"
