Bonnie was stunned but then giggled and said, "Sure, I'll take a rain check on that favor. I'll contact you if I need it."

"You got it," Ivor responded smilingly. He had to admit working with the Nidhoggs was pleasant. That was mostly because "Bonnie" was forthright and delivered her promises immediately. She honored their contract, too.

Ivor enjoyed working with such people and hoped they could work together again next time.

"Since we're done talking, let's get out of the car. The views here are splendid. We'll feel much better strolling around." Bonnie wanted to clear her mind, but since "Ivor" was there, she figured she should invite him for a walk.

Either way, Ivor was not the talkative type, so his presence did not bother her much.

"Sure, Mr. Boyd." It seemed Ivor had seen through her. He opened the car door first and got out, saying, "I was thinking the same thing."

"Perfect," Bonnie responded faintly before exiting the car.

Once outside, they strolled ahead side by side. Meanwhile, Yasmine, who had been waiting for them to finish talking, saw them getting out of the car. She intended to approach "Bonnie" immediately but saw them walking together.

'I don't know if it's just me, but they complement each other. Looking at them together seems surprisingly harmonious. It's strange to think about it that way, but I felt it.'

Ultimately, Yasmine brushed it off as her imagining things. After all, Ivor and Bonnie commanded respect wherever they went. Yasmine also knew "Bonnie" and "Ivor" were married. She figured they could not be dating, especially since they were "men."

The thought of "Bonnie" being married made Yasmine feel sorrowful. The latter thought it was a shame she did not meet "Bonnie" earlier.

'I wonder if I could've been with Boyd if I had met him before his wife did. Still, I can't leave a meaningful impression on him now. Worse, I might not see him again.'

The more Yasmine thought about it, the sadder she felt. Then, she sighed heavily and frowned.

Later, Ivor, Floyd, and Yasmine got into the same car. Typically, Yasmine would be lively and noisy. However, she was quiet and brooding this time. All she did was rest her chin on her hand and look out the window.

Ivor's brows furrowed when he looked at her. He turned to Floyd and asked, "What's up with her?"

Floyd glanced at Yasmine and then whispered to Ivor, "She's worried she'll never see Mr. Boyd again once he returns home. She feels awful about it."

He glanced at Yasmine again and added, "I've known her a long time, but I've never seen her like that. It seems she's genuinely in love this time."

Ivor frowned and disagreed with Yasmine's actions.

Floyd continued, "I thought I told her Boyd is married. There's a big chance others will misunderstand Yasmine if she keeps this up."

Although Ivor felt terrible for Yasmine, that did not mean he would let her do something she should not. He said, "She knows that. Still, since when have people been able to control themselves when it comes to love?"

Floyd sighed. "I only hope Yasmine can get her mind straight once Mr. Boyd leaves. I can't get used to seeing her like that."
