Scene 11

In no time at all, Ajeco replaced Ares… He was magnificent and his black coat shone… I went up to him and stroked him… Incredible but true, his coat was very soft and very warm… By reflex I stroked him behind the ears, which made him let out a sigh, then he moved away from me and went off to change, understanding that he shouldn’t be changing here.

I went into the bathroom to wash myself… The hot water ran over my skin… I washed my body… I got out of the shower and grabbed a towel. I dried myself and wrapped it around my waist, then went to the mirror. I looked at my neck and saw to my horror that it was full of hickeys on one side… I touched it with my fingertips… It hurt quite a lot… But all of a sudden the mirror started to fog up… What’s wrong? What was going on? I felt hands on my stomach… They moved up to my chest and then undid my towel… I didn’t dare move… what could I do anyway? These hands went to my stomach… I had goose bumps… I wanted so much to bend down and pick up my towel, but that would have put me in a strange position…

Me – Ares?

My hands continued to slide over my body and I let out an uncontrolled sigh… Behind me I could hear a laugh of satisfaction… I didn’t want to turn round and let him have the satisfaction of seeing me naked. So I just stood there in front of the still-fogged mirror and hoped he’d go away… Which I didn’t think he would… His soft, warm hands came to rest on my h**s and Ares buried his head in my neck… He was breathing in my scent… He began to plant many k****s on me… What annoyed me was that each time he kissed me, I felt even weaker, I felt like my legs were going to buckle at this rate… But sensing this weakness, he kept going until my predictions came true… My legs buckled and I fell to the ground… I took the opportunity to pick up my towel and wrap it around myself much more tightly than before, then turned round to face him. He was looking at me with his bloodshot eyes… And for the first time his eyes were shining… it may sound stupid but they looked like two rubies staring at me… I felt like he was reading me like an open book… I was looking at him… Well ok ! I was contemplating him!

As I felt like pissing him off a bit, I walked past him and went to the dressing room to get an outfit… I came back with a pair of black leggings, a white tank top, a denim jacket and a red checked shirt that I tied to my belt…

I jumped up to land flat on my stomach on the bed… Until someone tugged at my feet… Ares (who else?) …

Megrumbling into my pillow – Hum hum hum hum…

Arès – In French?

I raised my head in a last-ditch effort.

Me – I said I wanted to sleep…

Arès – You slept all night… You know that I can go 48 hours without sleeping and still feel fine…

Me – Yes, but I’m not you!

Ares – OK… I have to leave for a meeting, it won’t last more than 30 minutes I think… I’ll be back soon, I promise, k****s, darling.

Me – K****s!

Why did I answer…Why did I say that? That’s not good! I’m getting really attached to him… Soon I’m sure he’ll go further (more more more… more loiiiiinnnnn I’m screaming ! :’3) than just words… And I don’t want that!
