I Saved A Mystery Billionaireac (Eudora) -
Chapter 1013 You Are Also a Scumbag
On the other side, Colton arrived at Philomel Apartment. When he went inside, there was no one in the living room.
He opened the master bedroom and found it empty.
Then he went to the second bedroom and opened the door, only to discover a girl sitting on the bay window, lost in melancholy. "Wendy?"
Colton realized that the so-called "great job" Colbert mentioned was coming over to accompany Wendy.
Upon hearing the voice, Wendy turned around and saw Colton. "Why are you here?"
She had met Colton before and knew he was Colbert's friend, but she didn't understand why he would appear here. "For what other reason? It's because you're feeling down. Colbert asked me to come and keep you company," he said.
Colton walked over and sat on the other side of the bay window, with his legs resting on the window sill and his elbows on his knees, supporting his chin. "I heard you had a breakup. Do you want to tell me what happened?"
"I don't want to talk to you," Wendy replied.
She curled her legs up and put a pillow on her knees, resting her head on it as she looked out the window, feeling awful.
"What's the point of crying your heart out here over a scumbag? Would he care if he knew? He's probably in another woman's bed. If I were you, I'd spend this time shopping, driving around, going to karaoke, or hanging out at the game arcade. Your mood would be so much better. If all else fails, spend some money, and find a couple of gigolos to take care of you comfortably. There's no need to be heartbroken over a scumbag. He wasn't worth it, to begin with, and now you're just making him look precious," Colton scoffed.
At first, his words didn't sound like much, but it was a valid point upon careful consideration.
The scumbag had already hurt her. Wouldn't that be a bad deal if she continued to be sad and upset because of him?
After thinking for a moment, Wendy sighed and said, "You make a good point."
"Of course. I'm an expert in the matters of love..." Colton trailed off.
"Turns out you're also a scumbag," Wendy interrupted.
"Ha-ha! I... I was just kidding. Come on, freshen up, and I'll take you out for fun. It's much better than being sad here." Colton stumbled over his words. Wendy's phone had run out of battery the day before, so that no one could reach her now.
Since she was bored anyway, she reluctantly agreed to Colton's proposal. "Okay."
After a quick wash-up and getting dressed, she followed Colton downstairs.
Colbert's car was in the garage. He grabbed the keys from the apartment and picked a car, taking Wendy out for a wild and carefree time.
