I'm Not Yours, Alpha
I’m Not Yours, Alpha – Chapter 38

Madox was one of those who could be amazed by few things, but now he was stunned. He had to blink several times in shock. What a strange omega case he had in front of him. Three times jealousy in the same month. How the hell was he able to stand it without an alpha by his side. The jealousy was stronger if it wasn’t quelled by drugs or simply by the alphas’ s*x and pheromones.

-You’ve left me speechless,” was all he could say, but it only caused the depression to be reflected more strongly on the omega’s face.

As an alpha it felt bad to see that, a depressed omega was unstable and dangerous and could do things that could threaten his life. And this one seemed on the verge of collapse.

-Let’s do one thing,” Madox picked up his pen that had reached the edge of the table and straightened up in his chair, “Come back tomorrow, I’ll admit you to one of my specialised practices and try some new treatments on you, that way I can study your particular case as well.

The omega didn’t look very convinced. Julian had been to so many doctors that he didn’t think any of them could solve his problem.

-Hey,” Madox’s voice was plaintive, “Don’t think I’m as useless as those who have treated you. I’m a medical eminence right now, and I work with cases like yours. If you’re in my hands you have nothing to worry about.

Julian thought he was a rather overbearing alpha like many he knew, he’d have to see if his bluster lived up to his ability, after all what would he waste, more time? It no longer mattered. He was just giving himself one last chance before ending it all. Because he was really tired of suffering.

Madox wrote down a few things on a piece of paper and handed it to him moments later.

-Gather the essentials and what you need for at least 15 days, if you have someone who can help you we will give them a list of times they can come and see you, it has to be omega or beta. With this paper you will present yourself tomorrow at the reception of block three, which is the one I attend, and you will wait for them to come and pick you up.

Jilian nodded without much enthusiasm and put the piece of paper in his backpack and got up.

-Thank you for your attention,” he said and turned and walked out the door.

-Remember, tomorrow in block three,” Madox didn’t know why but felt the need to emphasise it to him.

The omega nodded before leaving. The alpha put his fingers to his forehead and massaged it. What a dilemma he was getting into. He didn’t normally have cases as difficult as this, and there was something that still piqued his curiosity. About three years ago, when he was in another hospital giving a lecture, there was a case of an injury that had affected a patient’s brain and attacked his hormonal functioning.

He took his mobile phone out of his pocket and dialled a number until he received an answer.

-I’ll send you a name, give me everything you can on that person, and when I say everything, I mean everything,” he put it away and went back to his office, in less than an hour he was sure he would get an email with what he needed.

Madox walked out the door of the hospital car park to get his car. He looked at his watch, it was already close to 11: 00 at night, really late and he didn’t feel like driving but at that hour there were no means of transport. Once he got into the car and made sure that everything was in order inside it, without a scratch or a piece of lint, he started it up. This had been the last baby he had purchased for over half a million dollars and it suited his every need. He adored it and it had to be stressed that not everyone had what it took to sit in his baby’s luxury seats.

He drove smoothly down the dark road. What he had read was still echoing in his head. Indeed he didn’t have to wait long for the omega’s file to arrive only to find that there was hardly much data, it was as if part of the boy’s life had been erased, especially after the age of 13 until he was 15. It wasn’t an alarming age either but there weren’t even any medical checks and the person who had asked for the information was a reliable source.

More intrigued, he had continued to investigate and to his surprise he had not been mistaken. That day, on his way out of the seminary, he had seen a stretcher arriving in the distance with a young man dripping so much b***d from his head that it had merged with his hair and left a trail of b***d on the road. He only got a little information about the case, as he was on his way out and events like that happened all the time, what he didn’t remember were the people who were with him. At least he knew they were alphas, he was very good at memorising scents.

It really was a small world. Meeting that same person years later. It must be fate. He laughed, he didn’t believe in that, he was the master of his own path. He drove on quietly until something caught his attention. Since he remembered scents so well himself, there were characteristics of people that stuck in his mind, especially if it was a red hair like that one.

Julian was sitting on a bench at one of the stops. His home was a bit far away so he couldn’t walk there and he didn’t have to spend money on a car as he had no idea how much the treatment would cost, and being away from work was a real problem. But she hadn’t counted on the fact that she had arrived ten minutes late after the night bus had passed. The next one would be at two o’clock in the morning, he had no choice but to wait for it, he lived in an area with little access so that was the closest way to get there.

But waiting was not what worried him most. His hands were shaking and that was not a good start. In his stomach there was a familiar uncomfortable warmth building up and he bit his lips.

-Not now please, just a little,” his forehead almost touched his knees as he leaned forward. He was coming into heat again.

He was already beginning to pant. He didn’t want it to happen again, his heat was extremely exhausting, painful and so often that it had drained him of almost all his energy. In those three days he spent locked up he could barely take care of himself. He squeezed his eyes tightly shut hoping for a miracle to stop the progress of his heat, but it only got worse.

And to make matters worse the scent of an alpha was soon near him. Julian raised his head in panic. If the alpha raped him and marked him his life would be doomed. He brought his fingers to the omega’s protection collar to make sure it was there, at least that guaranteed he wouldn’t be bitten by a not so strong alpha. It wasn’t an expensive necklace so he wouldn’t know how long it would last.

-Beautiful, you smell delicious,” the man stepped out of the shadows. The alpha seemed intoxicated by the strong scent he was giving off.

Julian did his best to stand up but his thighs were weak so he fell to the ground. His body trembled at the thought that he was beginning to respond to the pheromones the alpha was dripping on him claiming his submission.

-No,” he m****d lightly, “I don’t want to,” he crawled backwards in agreement as the alpha walked towards him as if the omega was a scared rabbit to play with.

The alpha smiled and licked his lips. He walked two more steps as he lunged at him but was grabbed by the edge of his shirt and thrown away.

-You are a true disgrace to the breed,” Madox spoke with contempt aggressively releasing his pheromones at the other alpha showing all his superiority, “Go away,” he growled showing a set of fangs threatening and to be reckoned with.

The alpha trembled at the man in front of him. Stronger, bigger, almost at the top of the ladder. This time it was Madox who smiled as he watched him run with his tail between his legs. Once he was sure that he was no longer close and had released his pheromones at least several metres away he looked over his shoulder at the omega behind him.

-What do I do with you now?
