It was midday. The bright sunlight reached the interior of the cave through the small cracks above. The thick fog earlier in the dawn was gone. The sparrows in the wild started to hunt for insects to eat after several minutes of singing. Life went on outside the cave while a new life was expected to bloom inside. On the contrary, countless victims lose their lives in Buscia City. The war was still going forward and between the sharp fangs of death, humans perished one after another.

Seth was breathing loudly while leaning his back on the cave wall. He fell asleep after scooping Latina from the ground when she slumped down while crying. He had no idea why the lady was suddenly emotional. Comforting wasn’t his forte. Afraid to say the wrong thing that might worsen her mood, he offered his shoulder to lean on, and she cried silently until she was tired. Latina dozed off. She was sound asleep when she felt a stinging pain.

“Argh!” Latina g*****d in pain. She touched her tummy and the pain was kicking from within. ‘Oh no, are you coming out now?’ She was excited but worried at the same time. The fire fairy told her about the possibility of giving birth anytime, but she never expected it to be so soon. She doesn’t even remember when exactly she got pregnant. Well, she did it with Sebastian many times, and she couldn’t point out the specific date and time when his juices filled her womb and the baby was formed. Her occasional huffing and puffing while enduring the pain woke up the sleeping knight.

“W-what’s going on?” Seth asked when he saw her curling in pain. “Are you constipated? Do you need to use the bathroom? Tell me what you need,” he panicked when he realized how pale she was while sweating coldly. He knelt on the ground and tried to help her up but Latina shook her head.

“I… h-help me sit down,” she whimpered. Seth nodded his head frantically and lifted her to help her sit. “AHH!” Latina screamed when a sharp pain dominated her entire body. The pain was doubled, Nah, it was tenfold compared to the one she felt a while ago. Latina felt something moved inside her. ‘It’s the baby!’ It shifted down, looking for an exit. “Ugh mm!” She pursed her lips when she felt the baby found the only possible exit.

“Y-you’re bleeding!” Seth was not afraid of b***d. He screamed when he saw the b***d and went pale as well because it was flowing down on her legs. And he wasn’t too naive not to know what was causing her to bleed. Or maybe not. “Did you hurt your leg?”

Latina ignored his question. She rested her back on the surface and pulled her legs up. “It’s going…out… h-help me spread my legs,” she asked breathlessly. She would not have bothered to ask him if only her h**s didn’t feel numb, making it hard for her to move her legs as she could barely feel them.

“W-what?” Seth’s jaw dropped. “I… I can’t see it yet,” he shook his head, still hadn’t grasped the situation.

“P-please… I need to let it out.”

Messy hair while extremely sweating hard, legs parted and heavy breaths, Latina could never be sexier. The lady was clearly in discomfort but the only person who could have helped her was fantasizing over her allure. Seth blinked his eyes several times and swallowed the lump on his throat. He faked a cough twice and looked at her eyes. “I’m not an expert since I haven’t tried doing it before,” he was fidgeting his fingers while confessing to her about him being inexperienced.

“I don’t care. J-just please help me out. It’s ripping her way through. Ah!” Latina squirmed.

“I-if you say so,” Seth murmured while rubbing his sweating palms together. He went closer in front of her and placed his shaking hands on her knees. “I don’t know if this matters but…” he paused and took a deep breath. “I’m still a virgin,” he continued as he spread her legs.

“AAAHHH!” They both screamed at the same time. Latina from the unbearable suffering and Seth from shock after seeing something coming out of her.

‘F**k! Was it a baby? She’s about to give birth, and I was thinking of doing something inappropriate to her! Damn!’ he thought while shaking his head furiously. ‘What to do now?’ He checked on Latina who m****d endlessly. Holding his breath, he lifted her skirt to see the progress. “I could see the baby’s head. Push… I don’t know if that’s possible but you have to push the baby out,” he instructed.

Latina tried to focus her strength in one place and released it all to push the baby out. “There! Keep doing that. It’s coming out,” Seth smiled, trying to encourage her.

“Hmmppp! Ahhhh!” She inhaled deeply and with all the strength she could muster, she pushed. Latina smiled when she heard the baby’s cry. “Thank you,” she whispered, knowing that the baby helped her succeed. In the last second, she felt it moving out on its own. She didn’t even feel the pain when her opening was ripped once again. Since the moment when it did, her precious angel was crying.

“It’s alive!” Seth shouted in glee but zipped his mouth when he saw Latina glaring at him. He scratched his head and went back to wiping the baby using his coat. It wasn’t like there was something else he could use anyway.

“Do you want my baby to die?” She kept glaring at the boy while forcing herself to get up. Surprisingly, the pain that she felt while laboring was slowly fading. ‘It must be because of this ring,’ she thought, glancing at the ring on her finger.

“I wouldn’t dare!” Seth responded. “This is the first time I ever saw a baby fresh from the oven,” he bit his tongue when he realized what he said. “What I wanted to say was… a baby… a newborn baby, hehe. Oh! And I don’t see those dangling things between the legs so it must be a girl.” He wrapped the baby with a red cloth he found. It was clean and had no lingering smell, so he decided to use it. “Do you want to carry her?” he asked as he poked the baby’s cheek. Latina slapped his finger away and carefully lifted the baby.

“I’ve never felt so happy before,” Latina’s eyes sparkled in tears when she saw a little life she had in her arms.

“Victoria. You shall be called Victoria,” she whispered.
