It’s Love That Blinds Him – Chapter 114
The strange sound of the door made both Lowell and Lucia turn their heads at the same time. Lucia did not tighten the belt, partially revealing her naked body under the bathrobe, which might make people imagine.
Unexpectedly, he didn’t roar in anger, but smiled lightly. The smile didn’t reach his eyes. He looked coldly at Lucia in front of him. The bright red marks on his body showed everyone what had just happened here. The room was full of intimate debauchery.
Lowell looked at Malcolm calmly. It seemed that Malcolm’s appearance was exactly as he expected. He didn’t make a sound. It ruffled Lucia’s open collar just slightly. His slight movement made Malcolm’s eyes dark, but Malcolm still stood there indifferently and looked at the two people in front of him.
Lucia was shocked by Malcolm’s sudden appearance. His usual high-pitched tone disappeared at that moment. She looked at him without understanding and saw his smiling face. She knew that right now he wasn’t as calm as he seemed. The anger brewing inside him could burn every inch of the room.
“Sir. Evans, it seems rude to visit without knocking on the door late at night. Where are the Evans family manners?” Lowell said indifferently.
Lucia looked at him in surprise. Lowell seemed to have known Malcolm for a long time. However, Malcolm was still indifferent and looked at the two people in front of him indifferently. After giving Lucia a hint, asking her to keep quiet, Lowell turned to look at Malcolm.
“My wife is in your room. Manners? Or will he pay me the fee to use it?” Malcolm said with a sneer.
Lucia was frightened by his attitude. In the past, when her love affair was reported in the newspaper, at least he was questioning her angrily. But now, when he caught her red-handed, he looked so calm, as if he was talking about the weather today . And it sounded like she was just a commodity that could be sold. That was all.
“Malcolm…” Lucia called shyly.
Malcolm glanced at her indifferently and ignored her. He looked around him and finally fixed his eyes on Lowell. The two men’s eyes met in the air, creating fierce sparks, which soon became faint. The air was freezing and the atmosphere was suffocating. Suddenly, Malcolm
headed step by step towards Lucia. Unconsciously, Lowell held Lucia in his arms. After glancing at Lowell’s hand, Malcolm turned back to Lucia.
“Wildcat, I told you not to betray me easily, and that if you betrayed me, I would personally send you to hell. Do you remember? It seems you forgot,” Malcolm said to Lucia word for word. word. There was no emotion in his tone, only calm.
“Malcolm…I…” Lucia wanted to explain, but she held back her words.
She smiles self-deprecatingly. What else could she say in such a situation? She had done what she shouldn’t do. What is the difference between finishing and not finishing? Lucia looked down weakly, admitting everything before her eyes.
“Lucia, if you feel uncomfortable, you can come in and I will take care of it,” Lowell glanced at Lucia and said softly.
“Hmm? When did you become so concerned about my family matters?” Malcolm said coldly before Lucia said anything.
“I’ll go with you. You don’t have to talk like that here”, Lucia stood up and said coldly to Malcolm as she couldn’t stand it anymore.
She didn’t know how Lowell knew Malcolm or what kind of quarrel they had. Judging by the tone Of the two men, they were absolutely not friends. Lucia did not want to be an element between the two, so that they would argue.
“Are you sure you want to come with me, instead of staying here?” Although Malcolm’s tone was still neither cold nor hot, he glanced at Lowell provocatively.
To his surprise, Lowell said nothing. The surprise in Malcolm’s eyes quickly disappeared. He looked coldly at Lucia’s bathrobe. When he saw the obvious red marks on her neck and chest, his anger couldn’t help but well up in his heart. But he hid it well, so no one could know what he really thought.
Lucia got up and walked towards him. Glancing at Lucia, Lowell clenched his fists and gave up. With a complicated look in his eyes, he watched as Lucia walked towards Malcolm. He closed his eyes and let Lucia slip out of his control.
Glancing at Lucia who was walking towards him, Malcolm walked out without looking back. Outside the door, Kaleb and Enoch were already waiting. Seeing how expressionless Lucia and Malcolm looked, they were a little scared. Out of the corner of their eyes, they watched what happened next. There were no signs of quarrel or fight except for the obscene atmosphere inside.
Enoch and Kaleb looked at each other then at Lucia. Under Malcolm’s slightly menacing eyes, they quickly looked down and left with him.
There was dead silence afterwards.
Somehow Tandy had appeared alongside Lowell, as had Hudson and the others. They looked at Lowell in confusion.
“Commander, why did you let them go so easily?” Tandy asked, perplexed, looking at Lowell who was lost in thought.
“No, the game has just started. Are you ready for the rest?” Lowell asked coldly, regaining his senses.
“Everything is ready. We can begin at any time,” Hudson replied respectfully.
“Except for Lucia, the rest will go as planned,” Lowell ordered indifferently, looking at the men in front of him.
“The commander… She …” Under Lowell’s sharp gaze, Tandy held back what he wanted to say.
In Lowell’s eyes, Tandy clearly saw his love and care for Lucia. He was totally different from the cold and ruthless Lowell he was. He not only tried his best to organize a birthday party for Lucia, accompanied her to find her favorite food, and allowed her to hesitate between the two men, but even let Lucia into his room and sleep on his big bed.
If it were in the past, no woman would have benefited from such treatment. For Lowell, women were just something for him to express his physical desire, not necessity. At first Tandy had thought it was because Lowell had to do all this to put Lucia on her guard. But little by little, everything went wrong and Lowell lost his heart to his prey.
“Commander, do you like it?” » asked Tandy.
Hudson gasped and looked at Tandy in shock. No one had ever asked the commander such a question in this manner. Even Tandy, Lowell’s living community, was not allowed to do this, because no one could imagine or guess the thoughts of their spiritual leaders.
Without answering Tandy’s question, Lowell simply looked at him indifferently and seriously. Then he got up, walked to the window and looked down. As expected, a white figure appeared in his sight. Soon she got into the car and disappeared. Looking at the car in the distance, Lowell’s eyes became dark.
The other people in the room looked at the silent Lowell, and no one dared to make a sound. Tandy wanted to say something more, but he suppressed his inner impulse when he received Hudson’s hint. He clenched his fists and sat aside silently.
There was dead silence in the room.
Lucia followed Malcolm silently into the elevator. Enoch and Kaleb consciously looked away. Even a fool could tell what had just happened next, judging by Lucia’s appearance. In the elevator, no one spoke. When the elevator stopped on the first floor, Enoch and Kaleb left first.
In the early morning, the hotel lobby was sparsely populated. Only a few receptionists were at their posts. From time to time, the patrolling security guards passed through the hall, and no one else could be seen. Lucia looked at her clothes with self-deprecation. If she showed up in a bathrobe during the day, she would be considered a whore or a freak.
As soon as she walked through the revolving door of the hotel, a gust of cold wind blew. Without the hotel’s heating, Lucia had goosebumps all over her body, which made her shiver. Lucia was naked under the bathrobe. He couldn’t resist the cold wind in winter at all. She subconsciously pulled her clothes closer and curled up.
Malcolm frowned and looked at the trembling Lucia, but he did nothing. He stepped forward. Looking at him, Enoch finally sighed. He took off his coat and handed it to Lucia. Lucia smiled at him gratefully. But in her eyes, Lucia clearly saw the ridiculousness.
At this moment, she must be very ridiculous in his eyes. In the eyes of the Evans family, she was nothing more than a traitor. She betrayed the happiness that everyone had imagined and threw herself into the arms of another man. Lucia had wanted to explain, but before she could say anything, she chose to give up. No need to say more. What others saw with their own eyes was far more convincing than what she said. What they had just seen was too shocking.
Kaleb opened the door for Lucia and motioned for her to get into the car. Lucia nodded slightly and got straight into the car. As expected, Malcolm also got into the car. Kaleb returned to the driver’s seat, while Enoch sat in the front passenger seat. A black glass rose slowly, separating the front and rear space, leaving the couple in a private environment in the back seat.
The coldness of the air made Lucia feel like something was wrong. She shivered and curled up completely into Enoch’s windproof coat. Subconsciously, she raised her legs to the seat and curled up, in order to ease the panic in her heart.
Malcolm was still silent. He just glanced at the trembling Lucia from the corner of his eye and soon ignored her. He closed his eyes and pretended to sleep.
Malcolm looked at Lucia with his cold, unforgiving eyes. There was no longer any tenderness in his eyes, not even the fake smile. After looking at her, he quickly removed his sight. Lucia gave up on what she wanted to say. At this point, it was clear that Malcolm was not willing to talk about anything. To be exact, he didn’t want to communicate with her.
Sometimes Lucia felt lucky to still be able to sit here alive. At the time, Mina was sent to a mental hospital by Malcolm, which already made Lucia feel like he was a cruel person.
Lucia chose to remain silent. The car sped towards the apartment.
