It’s Love That Blinds Him – Chapter 203
Coming out of the Evans group, Lucia looked a little depressed. She sat quietly in the car without saying a word. Johnny lowered his head and settled the formal contract with the Evans Group. Lucia’s phone suddenly rang in the silent space, making her frown slightly. She took her phone out of her purse, looked at the caller ID, and answered.
“Lucie… let’s have dinner together. I’m going to bring her and my son. You haven’t seen them yet.” It seemed that Sophia wanted to make up for the last five years.
“Okay. Set the time and send me a message,” Lucia said with a smile.
Sophia was a woman of action. The last time they met, his main goal was to confirm whether Lucia was really alive or not. After getting confirmation, she would take action immediately. Lucie smiled slightly. Yes, since Sophia got married, she had never seen Lorenzo face to face, much less their two year old son. Lucia was looking forward to dinner.
In the glass-roofed villa, during this period, Lowe seemed to be a little strange and became quieter. In front of him was today’s newspaper, on which there were still large photos of Malcolm and Lucia. However, the content has moved from the financial section to the gossip section. Their previous relationship has been described in detail. It seemed as if a queen had returned to declare her sovereignty.
“Lowe, why do you look so bitter? Isn’t it okay for us to hold hands and k**s like this?” Kathy glanced at Lowe and didn’t understand what he was doing.
“Idiot,” Lowe said without even looking at her.
“You…Humph, you are the most annoying. The person I hate the most is you.” Kathy turned and ran away. Every time they argued, she couldn’t win. His most useful weapons to strangers – gentle words and behavior, were useless to his twin brother.
Lowe ignored the girl who ran away angrily. Frowning, he seemed angry with himself. He casually threw the newspaper away and returned to his room in silence. When Lucia entered the house, she only saw Kathy and did not see Lowe. She glanced at the closed second floor door and then at the newspaper tossed aside. She knew what had happened.
“Mom… Lowe bullied me again,” Kathy complained to Lucia, pouting.
“Good girl, go change and put on some nice clothes. I’ll take you and Lowe to see Sophia’s grandson, okay? He’s much sweeter than Lowe.
“All right.” Kathy was interested in the little boy Lucia mentioned, so she quickly followed Leila to change clothes.
Lucia put the newspaper away. She didn’t care about baseless speculation in the newspapers. She went up to the second floor and knocked on Lowe’s bedroom door. She didn’t push the door until she got the answer. Lowe was sitting quietly on the bed and reading a book. Seeing Lucia enter, he put down the book and greeted Lucia kindly. Lucia sat on the edge of the bed and said nothing more. She was just holding Lowe’s little body in her arms.
“Mom, are you going to come back with him?” Buried in Lucia’s arms, Lowe asked the same question.
“No, I won’t.” This time, Lucia did not escape but gave a definitive answer.
“I don’t like him,” LoweI whispered. Only now he looked a little childish.
Lucy didn’t say anything. Lowe grew up without a father. No matter how much she loved them, it couldn’t make up for the absence of a father in the children’s hearts. Lucia knew that Lowe longed to have a father, who could play with him and guide him through every period. When that thought had become an extravagant hope, he suddenly knew he had a father. It was impossible for him to accept it easily.
“Alright. Change your clothes. Mommy will be waiting for you downstairs. We’re going to see Sophia tonight,” Lucia let go of him, touched his head and said softly. “Okay.” Lowe nodded. Lucia left
the
room and went downstairs. In a vest and hot shorts and with a simple ponytail, Kathy stood in the living room and waited for Lucia. Seeing Lowe behind Lucia, she stuck out her tongue and made a face. Seeing this, Lowe frowned slightly. eyebrows and said nothing.
On the way, Kathy was loud, which was in stark contrast to the quiet Lowe. This time, Sophia chose a relatively quiet private club to avoid her children’s noises disturbing the others. It was the first time Lucia saw Lorenzo Darcy. She nodded slightly and greeted him. Then she looked at Sophia’s son, who had just turned two years old. She held out her hands and the little boy threw himself into Lucia’s arms like if he wasn’t afraid of strangers. Lucia hugged him tightly.
“Aunt Sophia, your son is very cute. He’s much more adorable than Lowe.” Kathy loved the boy with a big smile on his face.
Everyone was amused by Kathy’s childish words. And Sophia’s son was very cute. Lucia occasionally chatted with Sophia and teased her son. Kathy ate elegantly and entertained everyone with sweet words. Lowe was still silent. He didn’t say anything unless someone asked him.
“Mom, I want to go to the bathroom,” Kathy got up from the chair, walked over to Lucia and said softly.
“I will go with you.” Lucia was about to get up.
“No, I can do it myself.” Kathy turned her down.
Lucia shook her head and smiled, letting Kathy run out of the private room. Sophia was surprised by Lucia’s trust in Kathy. She watched Kathy leave then Lucia. Lowe, who was sitting quietly nearby, explained: “It’s good that she doesn’t lose anyone else. Don’t be afraid that she will disappear.” His words almost made Sophia spit juice back into her mouth.
After going to the bathroom, Kathy looked around the restaurant curiously. Everything in the country was foreign to him. It was a rare chance for her. If she didn’t play for a while, she would feel sorry for herself. On the corner between the toilet and the dining room, the restaurant had a unique landscape of a bridge and a river, and there were many colorful fish in the river. After all, Kathy was a little girl. Soon she was attracted by the swimming fish, crouching down beside it and watching them intently.
As if she had seen enough, she finally got up and walked to the other side, searching for a new continent. Suddenly, she rubbed her aching head and looked up to see what was happening on her way. When she saw a somewhat familiar face, she raised her beautiful eyebrows and wanted to see it more carefully.
“Do you know me?” Malcolm squatted down and asked the mixed-race girl who looked like a doll.
“Yes… You have been in the news these days. Sir, you look better than in the pictures,” Kathy said sweetly with a standard smile on her face. The dimples on her cheeks were so beautiful that Malcolm couldn’t take his eyes off her.
“Hmm?” A slight smile appeared at the corners of Malcolm’s mouth.
The mixed-b***d girl in front of him was as gentle as a fairy. Her bright eyes reminded him of Lucia. But her eyes were as blue as the sky, so beautiful that he couldn’t take his eyes off her. The blue color was so attractive that he couldn’t help but immerse himself in it. As a result, Malcolm, who was rarely liked by children, stopped and wanted to talk to him subconsciously. He couldn’t help but smile, which was pure and natural as if infected by the girl’s smile.
“Yes, you are more handsome than my uncle. He loves me very much and I am determined to be his wife. But now I think you are more handsome than him. I have changed my mind. I will marry you when I will be tall.” Kathy acted like a spoiled child in front of Malcolm.
A muffled laugh came from behind. Bob, who was stereotypical, saw his boss being teased by a little girl. He wanted to laugh but didn’t dare. Finally, he laughed in a muffled voice. On the other hand, Enoch burst out laughing. Malcolm looked at them both with a slight warning in his eyes. Enoch wisely closed his mouth and laughed in a muffled voice like Bob.
“This Mister is also handsome, but Kathy still loves you the most. I love you the most…” Kathy did not forget to praise Enoch, then turned her attention to Malcolm.
Suddenly, while Malcolm didn’t notice, she gave him a k**s on the cheek, then quickly jumped up, looking at him happily. Being kissed by the girl, Malcolm was short of crying or laughing. He helplessly rubbed her hair, making her scream.
“Why are you here alone?” Where is your family?” It was rare for Malcolm to have a good temper.
Hearing this question, Kathy looked at her watch and shouted. Malcolm looked at her in confusion and was about to ask, but was interrupted by her.
” Oh my God…I’ve been out for so long. Mom must be anxious as hell. Mr. Beau, next time I see you, I will treat you to some delicious cakes. Now I really have to go. Catherine loves you…” Kathy said goodbye to Malcolm and continued to pet him.
Hearing this, Enoch could no longer hold back and burst into wild laughter. This little girl was so interesting. She was the only person other than Lucia who dared to talk to Malcolm like that while he was still patient. In order not to overstep his boss’s boundaries, Bob pretended to go to the bathroom and laughed wildly in another place.
The bonds of s*x can always make two strangers feel intimate at first sight of each other. However, the invisible force prevented them from continuing to be close to each other. Maybe they were growing apart, or maybe they were growing closer and closer. God always makes people suffer like this. God hardly wants people to fulfill their wishes easily. People more or less tortured each other. Only when God was satisfied did the game end.
“Kathy…Did you fall in the toilet?” Lowe’s slight sneer came from not far away.
After waiting in the private room for a long time, no one saw Kathy come back. Seeing the worried look on Sophia’s face, Lowe offered to go out and get Kathy. However, before he could find her, he heard her flattering words. Following her voice, Lowe looked for her. As expected, he saw Kathy chatting with a strange man. What a shameless idiot! Lowe cursed Kathy countless times in his heart.
As soon as Kathy saw it was Lowe, her face changed. She walked towards him angrily. The two were about to argue. However, it seemed that Lowe wasn’t paying much attention to Kathy. Instead, he looked at Malcolm, who had already stood up. Her inquisitive gaze made Malcolm’s eyebrows furrow slightly.
Malcolm estimated that the boy in front of him was at most six or seven years old or younger. But his investigation was much calmer than that of children of the same age. Besides, if his eyes weren’t deceiving him, Malcolm could even see a trace of resistance and disgust, or other more complicated emotions in the little boy’s eyes. Looking at the child in front of him, who looked a little familiar, Malcolm didn’t remember anything about him.
“You’re being rude to a lady,” Kathy told Lowe.
“Let’s go.” Mom is looking forward to seeing you, Lowe said lightly. He didn’t care about Kathy’s complaint.
Kathy quickly returned and hugged Malcolm. Malcolm lifted her easily. She played with him for a while before getting off his body and returning to Lowe. He took her back to the private room. Meanwhile, Kathy turned around and waved at Malcolm. Malcolm looked at the interesting girl with a smile the whole time.
“What an idiot!” Lowe said as he couldn’t stand it anymore.
“Lowell…How can you…”
Along the way, the two returned to the private room while arguing. Most of the time it was Kathy who spoke, and Lowe sometimes answered her. After returning to the private room, Kathy immediately complained to Lucia about Lowe and told everyone what happened just now. Lucia and Sophia burst out laughing. Kathy could always make people happy. Wherever she was, there would always be laughter that wouldn’t stop.
On the other hand, it seemed that Lowe was getting quieter and quieter, and he just closed his slightly open mouth. He decided to pretend nothing had happened tonight. He didn’t want Lucia to worry too much. As for Kathy, she was brainless. Until tonight was over, she would never remember who she met today. Regardless, any passerby was a handsome man to her. In Lowe’s opinion, the people who believed his sweet words were even dumber than idiots.
After watching the two children disappear for a long time, Malcolm turned and walked towards the private room they had reserved. Enoch caught up with him. Bob seemed to have calmed down and came back too. Enoch looked at Lowe’s retreating back for a long time, with confusion in his eyes. Then he looked at Malcolm, as if comparing something.
“What’s wrong?” Malcolm looked at Enoch out of the corner of his eye and asked coldly.
“What a big difference!” Enoch curled his lips and said dissatisfiedly. “Hey, Malcolm… Did you put a pregnant woman out by accident… This little boy is really like you, especially the tone of speech.” Enoch couldn’t help but ask.
His expression, posture and tone were exactly like a mini version of Malcolm. Enoch could foresee that the child would also be a powerful person when he grew up. He looked more mature than his age, which made him uncute.
“Hmm? Are you too inactive recently?” There was an inadvertent threat in Malcolm’s words.
He glanced at Enoch out of the corner of his eye and headed towards the private room. Hearing this, Enoch shrugged and followed Malcolm into the private room. What had just happened was just an episode, and no one would remember it later.
