It’s Love That Blinds Him – Chapter 75
“Thank you, Lowell. » Lucia thanked Lowell, who was sitting in the driver’s seat, as soon as she got out of the car.
“Go ahead,” Lowell said softly with a smile.
Lucia said goodbye to him then walked towards the building, hands in her pockets. As soon as she turned around, the smile on her face turned into a grimace and her expression darkened.
After all, Lucia wasn’t naive enough to believe that Malcolm didn’t know she wasn’t in the apartment. The bodyguard allegedly informed Malcolm as soon as he found out she had cheated on him. She looked at the building straight ahead a short distance away, wondering what kind of storm awaited her there.
Every fiber of his being wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. But could she? Could she really escape Malcolm’s great influence? If not entirely, could she at least have some space to breathe? Lucia took a deep breath before continuing to walk even though her legs felt heavy. There was sadness around her, like a shadow looming darkly behind her, as she slipped along the path under the streetlight.
As soon as she stood just at the entrance of the building, Lucia saw a familiar bodyguard respectfully greet her before motioning for her to go to the elevator. As the elevator doors closed, Lucia watched the numbers on the electronic panel rise. His heart felt heavier with each passing second.
“Ma’am, Mr. Evans is waiting for you in the apartment,” said the bodyguard standing in front of the door.
“Just another statue,” Lucia sneered inwardly. As she raised her hand to enter the password, She found that the door was already unlocked. Taking another deep breath, she gently pushed the door with both hands and took off her shoes before entering. Despite her reluctance, she knew that she had to face her fears head on. Since it was the case, why was she feeling so uncomfortable and agitated?
“I’m glad to see you’re finally back.” Malcolm spoke; his voice was as cold and emotionless as his expression. “Hmm
. Lucia responded with a nod as she tried to walk past him to the bedroom.
“Is that all you have to say? Hmm?” Malcolm frowned at Lucia as he grabbed her arm and pulled her to his side.
“First, I have the right to say whatever I want. Second, am I under house arrest? Are you going to make me stay in this apartment for the rest of my life?” Lucia shouted angrily.
“Where were you?” Malcolm’s voice rose in anger as he ignored Lucia’s questions.
“It’s none of your business,” Lucia replied arrogantly.
“Where were you?” Malcolm grabbed Lucia by the chin as he said each word angrily.
Lucia looked away from him and closed her eyes in exasperation. His willful arrogance infuriated Malcolm as rage flashed through his eyes. Lowering his head, he pressed his lips to hers, pulling her into his arms before she could break away. However, Lucia didn’t even struggle as she stood there without moving. Now that her heart was already cold, there was nothing he could do to her that would break her spirit.
The impassive expression on her face sent a surge of anger through Malcolm, as he pushed her to the ground and glared at her. The impact of the fall hurt his back and his face contorted in pain. Suddenly, Malcolm’s expression changed as if he was shocked by his own actions. He took a step forward to help her, but the next moment he stopped in his tracks and clenched his fists as if trying to control his emotions.
The world spun as Lucia staggered to her feet, clinging to the wall and doing her best to shake off the pain. The brief respite from the pain was used to gasp and try to pull himself together. Finally, Malcolm’s expression softened and he couldn’t help but feel pity as he approached her and held her in his arms. Lucia didn’t struggle and she allowed him to hold her because of the pain.
Malcolm sat Lucia down on the bed and brought the first aid kit. As he tried to treat the pain in his back, Lucia stopped him.
“Do not touch me !” Lucia said coldly.
“Don’t be so stubborn. You know very well that I will never let you go,” Malcolm coldly refused.
“Why? If you want a legitimate son, why are you still harassing me? I’m tired of living like this! Maybe we should never have gotten married in the first place. Maybe we should have stick to occasional adventures like we did in the beginning.” Lucia seemed to remember something.
“Wildcat! Be yourself. Like I said before, be yourself. I’ll take care of everything else,” Malcolm replied, holding her affectionately in his arms.
For a moment, Lucia felt like they were going back in time. However, she soon realized that she was only imagining it.
“We can’t go back to the way things were. A marriage can’t be built on lies. We can’t have a future together like that. I don’t know what you’re thinking, but I know I can’t be like you. I’m not that strong.” Lucia’s voice broke as she spoke and tears welled up in her eyes.
“I told you, just let me take care of everything,” Malcolm replied impatiently.
“Well, even if you take care of everything, what difference will it make? Who am I? Your mistress? Your lover? Or anything else?” Lucia spoke harshly, but the sadness in her tone was palpable.
“No one can take your place,” Malcolm said to Lucia, although it seemed like he was saying the words to himself.
“If you don’t love me, why are you so determined to make this marriage work? Lucia stared at him for a moment then finally said what she had been meaning to say to him for a while. “Why don’t you give
me- No chance of falling in love with you?” asked Malcolm.
“Love me? You are a heartless man. You are not capable of loving anyone but yourself.” Lucia pointed at Malcolm’s heart with a disdainful sneer. “I made a mistake thinking I could make you fall in love with me . I should never have believed your lies in the first place.” She finally understood everything.
Malcolm didn’t know what to say, so he stayed silent.
“Leave me alone. I need some time to myself,” Lucia pleaded.
Malcolm was still silent. Without a word, he leaned in and kissed her again. His k**s was aggressive and somewhat affectionate. At the moment of the k**s, they had become their pure and vulnerable selves again. Lucia compromised, not knowing if it was psychological or physical.
As her clothes were removed little by little, the contact of his hands on her skin electrified her senses. Without temptation and without conscious thought of her own, Lucia began to run her hands over the familiar curves of his body, driven by a primal desire. Maybe she was excited, or maybe she was depressed, or maybe… Tears streamed down Lucia’s face.
Malcolm licked her tears from her cheeks as he fondled her breasts with his hands. A m**n escaped her lips as she felt an insatiable sense of pleasure, but soon she closed her eyes and pursed her lips.
“I want you,” Malcolm whispered breathlessly, pulling away from Lucia’s body.
Lucy didn’t say anything. She knew she couldn’t stop Malcolm, nor could she stop burning with desire. After all, she was ready to welcome Malcolm into her.
Without waiting for Lucia’s response, Malcolm entered Lucia’s body. It was slow, rhythmic and gentle. At first there was a sharp, brief pain before a gentle spasm passed through her, and she felt like she was floating. Lucia’s breathing changed with each thrust and her body went into transient paralysis as my mind was unable to process the pleasure so quickly. Her fingers gripped the bed sheet, pulling hard as if she needed something to hold on to.
As if dissatisfied with Lucia’s reaction, Malcolm thrust harshly against her, taking her nipple into his mouth and cradling her other breast in a calloused palm. Finally, Lucie arrived in cacophonous convulsions and great guttural exaltations. She was filled with a flooding feeling, as if her body was in crisis. Suddenly, Malcolm stopped looking at Lucia. She expressed her disgust by squirming uncomfortably beneath him.
“Say you want me,” Malcolm said coldly to Lucia.
He wanted to feel in control of the situation. He wouldn’t let anyone else control his thoughts that easily, not even Lucia. He would not allow anyone to get out of his control.
With the strength she had left in her body, Lucia did her best to resist him. However, Malcolm put two fingers of his right hand on her clit and rubbed it gently before sliding into her. Lucia was shaking as if she was about to break down.
“I want you. I want you…” She finally gave up fighting and m****d helplessly.
Smirking, Malcolm felt himself grow big and hard before entering Lucia again. This time he moved faster, harder and deeper. Lucia m****d and cried out in pure ecstasy as she writhed in her bed. Finally, with one deep thrust, Malcolm grunted in pleasure as he entered Lucia.
“Wildcat, you are mine. Never betray me,” Malcolm whispered to Lucia breathlessly.
It didn’t escape his body until some time later. Then he picked her up and carried her to the bathroom to clean her. Then he carried her on his back and gently laid her down in bed.
” Let me go. Don’t let yourself suffer endless pain. Just leave us with wonderful memories, isn’t that good?” Lucie begged.
At that moment, Malcolm’s phone rang and as soon as she saw who was calling, he answered immediately. He was silent the whole time. time as he listened to the speakerphone on the other end.
After a while, he hung up the phone and turned to look at Lucia. He hid the inexplicable emotions in his eyes well. Lucia felt his heart fluttered alarmingly in the unwavering glow of his eyes and she looked back at him. The two looked at each other for a long time, but neither of them took the initiative to speak. “I can let you go.” Finally, Malcolm opened the door
. mouth and said something Lucia didn’t expect to hear.
“In what condition? Lucia asked calmly. Needless to say, she wasn’t stupid.
“I just want you to remember that you belong to me, wildcat. I will not allow anyone to touch you, nor will I allow you to betray me. I can give you freedom, but not completely. Don’t try my patience any further,” Malcolm said coldly. The affection he had while making love to her was already gone.
“I want a divorce,” Lucia said bluntly.
“Don’t even think about it. Now that we’re married, you’re a member of the Evans family for the rest of your lie,” Malcolm said word for word, with no emotion in his voice.
“I’m tired of arguing with you. Lucia realized this conversation was going nowhere. “Don’t go back on your word. You said you’d let me go. I’m leaving tomorrow as soon as I’m done packing.” She wanted to make sure they were on the same page.
“As you wish.” Malcolm looked into her eyes before turning and leaving.
Lucia snickered as she watched him close the door behind him. Tears fell from her eyes as she was filled with confusion and self-loathing. “Our relationship is over. And our love? Why am I heartbroken?’ It seemed like she had isolated herself from Malcolm’s heart again…if he still had a heart.
