Jonas and the Werefish

When Aliens from outer space come to earth and spray a purple mist out the tailpipes of their flying saucers, every man, woman and child on the planet is wiped out except Jonas Struthers, as far as he knows. He takes shelter in an old auto salvage yard where he must fight off bizarre zombie-like female creatures when the sun goes down each night as they attempt to climb over the wall to get to him. When he is bitten in the leg by a Diamond-backed rattlesnake and shoots himself up with antivenin, he goes into a bizarre series of dreams that he doesn't realize are dreams about pork pie hat wearing creatures in oilskin dusters that have ringed-tails like lemurs and are constantly after his food or supplies. And he discovers that a beautiful female celebrity is being held hostage in an old mannequin factory and he must go rescue her from the mannequins that have been animated by the Aliens to guard her... and a pig he finds along the way... Mr. P.
