After leaving the ward, Adrian took Eva away, and she struggled hard to free herself from him.

"Adrian, what are you doing?"

Adrian was staring at her.

"Let's go back now."

The catchy ringtone sounded abruptly in the enclosed car.

"I'm driving."

"You can stop the car by the road and answer it."

"Little Adrian, your father and I just got off the plane and we're heading to the nursing home. How is your grandmother? Has she had the surgery?"

"She didn't take the surgery." Adrian briefly recounted what had happened today, then furrowed and said, "Don't you think you're coming too late?"

"Sorry, little Adrian. We had some delays during the trip."
