Episode 8

A few days later…

We arrive at the Raven Moon pack house. Luna Jessabelle thought it would be better for me and my beta, Carter, and Alistar’s son, Zezar, to stay in Raven Moon until we can figure out how to get my wolf back. Carter and Zezar were the only other people besides Jayde that stuck with me through this whole mess. When I told them about what Jayde did, they were ready to hunt her down and snap her neck. Carter was about 6’8 and had muscles that were thicker than mine. Mostly because he does have his wolf and more advanced training than I do right now. His wolf is a giant grey wolf with amber eyes. Though he has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes. Zezar was tall and lean. He was about the same height as Melody. He was a really gifted warlock like his father. He had silver grey hair and very vibrant purple eyes.

“Wow, this place is beautiful.” Carter commented as he stepped out of the SUV. “Thank you.” Luna Jessabelle replied. “MEL!!” a few voices rang out as soon as the vehicle doors were shut. Three male teenagers dashed and tackled Melody to the ground and dog piled on her. Her parents and brothers started laughing. Carter and Zezar were chuckling a bit, but I was more or less annoyed with this. I heard a growl and Melody rolled all three boys over and off her. She then jumped up and dusted herself off. “Not even in the damn house and you three couldn’t wait to see me. Were you puppies lost without your master?” Melody teased and raised an eyebrow. One of the boys stood up.

He had salmon pink hair and silver eyes. “Who says you are the master? Just because you are the alphas’ daughter doesn’t mean anything.” He smirked. “Oh, I do believe I just heard a challenge. Didn’t you, dear brother?” One of Melody’s brothers said. I think his name was Ethan. The other one nodded his head. “Sounds like it to me.” I think that one is Terrence. Melody then stripped off her black t-shirt so now she was just in her jeans, boots, and a black sports bra. “Bring it on, pup.” She said with a smirk, as she pulled her long white hair into a tight ponytail.

I felt even more agitated that Melody’s body was on display for other males to see, but also more drawn to her as I watched her muscles flex with her every movement. Her eyes never leaving the pink-haired boy’s eyes. He stripped off his shirt. “Alright, this match is to be fair so Tobias no magic and Melody no wolf… Understand?” Luna Jessabelle said. “Don’t worry, I got this.” Melody said, with a fire in her eyes and confidence in every word. “We will see about that, sexy lady.” Tobias fired back with a wink. I didn’t like it at all how he called her ‘sexy’ or him winking at her. It doesn’t sit well with me at all. “Looks like this should be a good show.” Carter whispered next to me. All I could do was nod in response. Zezar was quiet.

Melody’s POV

Not even home for a full 10 minutes of being home and Tobias and his brothers wanna spar with me. They are strong for non-shifted wolves, I can only imagine how much their strength will grow once they get their wolves in the next couple of weeks. Tobias and his brother are triplets also, but unlike my dads, who are identical triplets. These three are all fraternal triplets. They look nothing alike. Their body shape and height were the same, but their looks… nope.

Tucker is the oldest and looks just like Uncle Rico. He had short dark brown hair and hazel eyes. Tobias was the middle child with salmon pink hair with silver eyes. Tony is the youngest and had dark brown hair with bright yellow eyes. Tobias has become very skilled in his magic abilities. His magic is mostly used for combat. Tucker is mostly gifted for purifying and healing magic and Tony is gifted with potions.

I locked eyes with Tobias, waiting for him to make the first move. We circled each other. “Oh good. We didn’t miss the match.” I heard a familiar voice say. I peeked out of the corner of my eye and saw that Mike, Oliver, and Lilly had all come out to watch the match. It was a normal thing we kids did. Mama and papa made it a fun way to spar and train. I look back at Tobias just in time to see him coming at me with a right hook.

I dodge it by bending backwards. I was very flexible. I touched the ground with my hands and swung my legs back, kicking Tobias square in the jaw. “Ugh, Son of a b***h. You split my f*****g l*p, Mel!” He growled out. I rolled back onto my feet and smirked at him. “Oh did I hurt the little puppy too much, wanna cry ‘uncle’?” I teased. He growled and came at me again. 15 minutes later, we were both sweaty and dirty. I met him blow for blow. I wasn’t one to be pushed around, but I do go around throwing my strength at those around me. I never hurt the innocent.

Tobias was panting heavily. He spun to roundhouse kick me in the face, but I grabbed his leg. I picked him up effortlessly and flung him into the bushes. He g*****d as mama started to count. He had to count of ten to get up or it would be considered a knockout. “5… 6… 7…” mama continued. Lilly peeked into the bushes. “He is out cold, Aunt Jess.” she called out. Mama turned to Tony and Tucker. “Ok boys, get your brother to the clinic.” They nodded and gently picked up their brother.

I walked over to EJ and TJ and they gave me high fives. “What’s the number now, sis?” TJ asked. I used my t-shirt to wipe some of the dirt and sweat off my face. “This is number 345.” I said with a grin. “345 what?” Luca asked from behind us. I turned to see him looking only at me as if he was studying me. “Oh, this is the 345th time I kicked Tobias’s a*s in a match. We all spar a lot so we make a little game out of it.” I smiled at him. “Yeah, whoever has the most wins at the end of the year gets bragging rights for the first month of the new year.” EJ said. Though the main winners were between me and my brothers, though it hasn’t stopped the others from trying to take the crown. I smiled. “Alright, baby girl, you need to shower and change. Then you can take Prince Luca to Shianna and Sabrina. I am sure they can figure something out about his wolf.” Papa said as he ruffled my hair.

“Ack! Papa, cut it out. You’re going to make my hair knot up!” I squeal as I try to get away from him, but he snaked his big arm around me and ruffled my hair even more. “Hahaha. You are so adorable when you get flustered, my little baby girl.” He said, making everyone break up into laughter. I could feel my cheeks turn a tomato red. I playfully growled and kicked papa’s feet out from under him.

Sending him to the ground in his butt and I wiggling myself free from his arms. “What the-” *thump* “MELODY!” he roared as I playfully stuck my tongue out at him and shot him a wink. “Sorry papa, you asked for it. Hahaha.” I shouted as I ran through the front down and up to my room. I heard everyone outside burst out laughing, even papa started laughing.

I get to my room and look over my sides in the mirror. ‘A few bruises… they should heal within a couple of hours.’ I thought to myself. I head to my bathroom and quickly shower off all the sweat and dirt. ‘Mmmm, the water feels like heaven after a little workout.’ Artemis sighs. I laugh a bit. ‘What workout did you have missy, I was doing all the heavy lifting there.’ I tease. We still share the same body, girl. No matter if you are driving or if I am, we both feel the same pain and pleasure.’ I roll my eyes at her. ‘Ok, you’re right. Hey, how about later we go out for a run?’ Artemis yipped and bounced around in my head. Excited for the chance to stretch her legs.

I dried off and walked out of my bathroom with a towel wrapped around me. I look up and am face to face with someone in my bedroom. I sniffed the air and glared hard as he held up his hands in surrender. “YOU PERVERTED BASTARD!!” I roared.
