Legend Of The Moon Princess -
Episode 82
Grace’s POV
“Now how did your defensive nature activate? I have only heard of that happening if something has threatened your clan or your mate.” Alpha Jasmine asked. Tristan nodded. “Yes ma’am. That is true. I believe mine was triggered because There was a faint male scent on her. I claimed her as mine.” Tristan said. Turning to look me in the eyes as he announced his claim. “WHAT!?” Anthony growled. He started storming towards Tristan with bright red eyes. I could feel Tristan’s aura starting to rise again. I quickly scooped Anthony up in my other hand and held him the same way I was to Tristan, but I had to keep them separated. That was when I felt sparks tingle up from both my arms. “So are you claiming Grace as your mate, or as your clan?” Alpha Jasmine asked, to verify that is what Tristan had meant by ‘claiming’ me. Sometimes trolls will claim someone as part of their family clan and be just as protective over them.
“Yes she is my mate.” Tristan said. “No she is not. She is my mate!” Anthony hissed out. “Could it be possible that Grace has two mates? I mean Melody has three mates and they are all different creatures.” Luna Jess asked. “It could be possible.” Parker stated. “But it is hardly heard of a giant actually having a mate. Grace’s parents was the only time I heard of a giant being mated to a beast soul or any other creature.” Ren said. ‘Same here. Mom and dad being mated was the only time I saw a giant with someone that wasn’t a giant.’ I thought to myself. Jasmine turned to the princess. “Melody, could you use your gift to look at the three of them? As the Moon princess you should be able to see if their auras mingle together.” She said. “I’ll give it a try.” the princess said.
Her blue eyes started to glow brighter as they looked from Tristan, to me, and then to Anthony. She smiled as the glowing died down. “It looks like there is a bond. Grace has two mates.” She said with a big smile. Anthony and Tristan looked at each other. Tristan started to growl. “Enough!” I snapped at him. I needed time to process all this. I set both of my mates down and stood up. “I need to be alone for now.” I said. Jasmine nodded and I turned around. Not giving either of my mates a chance to follow me I quickly left for the forest. It wasn’t long before I was at the foot of a large black mountain. At times like this I wished I had a beast soul like my mother. At least I would have someone to talk to and they would understand where I was coming from.
It was not that having two mates bothered me. I was overjoyed to have mates to love me like I have seen over the years, but I was not going to like it at all if they were constantly fighting each other over me. I know that the princess’s mates fight sometimes, given that they will always have their differences, but they seem to find some common ground to work on for all of them to already be marked and mated by the princess. I was so lost in thought that I didn’t hear a couple of people walking up to me from around the mountain. “Hello my dear. Are you lost?” A soft and gentle voice called out.
I turned to see two women standing there. One had sea blue hair and bright yellow amber eyes. While the other one had pink hair like Riley’s but her eyes were each a different color. One was yellow and the other was silver. Her silver eye reminded me of Parker’s eyes. I shook my head as I sat down on my knees. “No ma’am I am not lost. I am one of the alpha’s guard. My name is Grace Lockser.” I replied politely and bowed my head. “Are you from Edolas?” The pink haired one asked. “Yes, I am. You may know Riley and Kai. They are my niece and nephew.” I answered. “Oh well, it is nice to meet you.” The blue haired one said. “My name is Sabrina Black, and this is my niece Shianna Delgado.” She said as she pointed to herself and the pink haired woman. I smiled at them.
“Is something bothering you?” Shianna asked. I was not the one to complain, but maybe they could help me with this whole mate thing. “Do you have mates?” I asked. They both nodded. “Yes. My mate, Rico, is one of the betas of the pack.” Shianna said. “And my mate, Brandon, is the head warrior.” Sabrina said. ‘Oh, so they just had one mate each.’ I thought to myself. “Are you having mate trouble?” Sabrina asked. I nod. “Giants normally are not a part of the mating bond thing that Mother Selene gifts your kind with. I mean the only time I have heard about a giant being mated to someone was my parents.” I explained. “My father was a giant and my mother was a tiger beast human. I have just met my own mates. One is a vampire and the other is a troll, but it feels like they are going to be constantly fighting each other over me.” I added.
Sabrina and Shianna nodded as I spoke, then thought to themselves for a moment. “I guess all you can do is be firm in what you believe to be right. Mates are like life. They don’t come with an instruction book.” Sabrina says. Shianna nods in agreement. “Besides, the blame would be on your mates for making you feel this way. They need to put their differences aside if they both want to be your mates.” Shainna added. I smiled. I hope with some communication, Anthony, Tristan, and I could work something out. I know they are possessive in their own ways, and I don’t expect them to get along all the time, but I don’t want to have to choose between them. “How about we head back to the pack house?” Sabrina asked. I smiled and nodded. I lowered my hands for them to climb on. “Let’s go back the giant way.” I said with a wink. Sabrina and Shianna laughed and stepped into my palms. I lifted them up and they were amazed at how far they could see. This was just one of the many perks of being a giant. You get the best view of the land.
