Chapter 1752

Rachel smiled and remarked, "Well, judging from his attacks, he must have become a royal saint already. We can never hope to catch up to him in terms of talent." She was full of admiration for Severin.

"Thank you for saving us, Elder Severin. We would have been in big trouble if you hadn't shown up!"

Several disciples stepped forward to express their gratitude.

Severin smiled and said, "The Highworld Sect disciples are utterly despicable. I would have found it less

distasteful if they only wanted to rob you of your spiritual herbs. It's sickening that they would try to kill

you."

He then said to everyone, Take whatever items you want from their spatial rings. We'll find a place to rest for a bit so all of you can recuperate. Our journey will resume once your injuries have healed. If you meet any of our fellow sect members, remember to tell them that the Highworld Sect isn't our only enemy. The Horizon Sect's disciples must also be regarded as a hostile force."

"Are we to consider the Horizon Sect's disciples hostile too?" Several disciples, including Rachel, expressed their surprise. Severin had only been slightly wary of the Horizon Sect's disciples after entering the realm, but that advisory had since changed significantly to treating them as outright hostiles. "Yes," Severin reiterated. "They must be treated that way because they regard us in the same light too." Elsa chimed in in frustration, "You probably don't know this yet, but my master encountered the Horizon. Sect's disciples earlier and they immediately tried to kill him. They even declared to my master that the

orders came from Frederick."

Elsa went on to relay the entire story to the disciples. Rachel clenched her teeth in anger after hearing it." I never would've expected the Horizon Sect's scion to be so petty. It doesn't befit his status as the best of his generation. That being said, we can't blame Miss Gilda for this either. It's bad enough that he spread rumors that ruined her reputation, and now he's letting his disciples kill ours without rhyme or reason. Who wouldn't get angry!"

Another Skyblue Sect disciple added, "Yeah! I'm grateful Miss Gilda never married him. She might never

get happiness if she had to live the rest of her life with such a scoundrel."

Severin glanced at all of them and took a moment to ponder. He then suggested, "I recommend that you split into groups of two or three people to search for our fellow disciples and inform them about this. That

will allow more of our disciples to keep their guard up and avoid falling victim to the Horizon Sect's disciples."

The disciples found Severin's suggestion sensible, and Rachel agreed heartily. "Yes. We should inform any comrades that we encounter so we can share the information to minimize our losses."

Severin nodded and said to Rachel, "Thank you very much, Rachel. I'll leave that to you then. Elsa and I will be on our way now. We'll deal with any disciples from the Highworld Sect or the Horizon Sect that we encounter en route."

Rachel responded with a warm smile. "No thanks necessary! It's our duty to watch each other's backs!"

Severin and Elsa resumed their journey on the flying swords, while the remaining disciples gathered the loot and divided it among themselves.

One female disciple remarked enviously, 'I'm so jealous of you, Rachel. Elder Severin treated you like a friend."

Another female disciple added, "Yeah! Me too! I'd probably faint from sheer joy if Severin were to treat me like a friend."

Rachel was left baffled by their comments. "We met in normal society, so I've known him for quite some time now. I was his subordinate, but that's in the past. I guess that makes us friends now."
