Severin stood there in shock, wondering if Gilda had been intimate with another man after they entered the Paradise Secret Realm. On second thought, however, it was much too unlikely because her pregnancy seemed to be nearing the third trimester. In that case, it would have happened six months ago, and Severin finally had the realization that Gilda's child was the fruit of his seed.

Knowing that it was futile to keep the matter hidden, Wuhlricht announced to everyone, "As many of your may have noticed, my daughter is now pregnant. Her child belongs to that man, and she plans to keep it

because it is her flesh and blood."

Though many disciples were surprised by Gilda's pregnancy, they understood why she had made such a decision. After all, terminating one's own flesh and blood was an act that many women simply could not bring themselves to do.
