Losing to My Substitute (Katerina and Joshu) -
Substitute 11
Chapter 11
After getting out of the car, the assistant led Katerina to the mansion called Floral Garden, stopping in front of the largest and most luxurious villa. The assistant introduced:
"Madam, this is the first house Mr. Joshua selected for you. The environment here is quiet and beautiful..."
After only a brief glance, she was surprised to find that the layout of this place was exactly the same as the home she had always dreamed of.
She was quite pleased with it.
Just as she was about to make up her mind, Bethany's voice came from behind, "Ethan, Tony, Andrew, this place is too big and expensive. Wouldn't it be too much to buy it for me?"
"It's not too much. You and Aunt Amy need a place to settle down, and it's close to home, so we can come and take care of you anytime."
"Exactly. As long as it's for you, no matter the cost, it's worth it."
Beth, just agree. Your rental house is so old and shabby. Do you want us to keep worrying about you?"
Hearing this, Bethany curled her lips into a smile, her eyes filled with emotion. "It's all my fault. If I hadn't made Miss angry, she wouldn't have complained to Mr. and Mrs. Green, and my mom and I wouldn't have been so destitute. You wouldn't have had to spend so much on us."
When Katerina's name was mentioned, Tony's expression changed suddenly. His peach blossom eyes narrowed slightly, and he said, "Don't worry. I will make sure to get you justice and won't let you suffer in vain."
As they walked inside, they happened to spot Katerina.
Andrew frowned, his tone unkind: "What are you doing here?"
She replied indifferently, "I'm here to check out a potential wedding house."
Upon hearing this, the three of them paused and exchanged glances, their hearts immediately tightening.
But when they saw the assistant standing next to her, they quickly relaxed.

They thought she was just putting on another act, and this time, she had even Someone to cooperate with.
This time, they didn't scold her. Instead, they gave a light chuckle.
"Alright, we'll watch you buy it."

Katerina didn't care about their reaction. She was indeed quite satisfied with the place, so she nodded at her assistant.
After the assistant swiped the card, he continued, "Madam, we can also go to other places to buy a few more houses. This one is too close to your family's home. I'm worried you might feel uncomfortable." Hearing this, Andrew's face darkened. "What do you mean by that?"
"Katerina, is this person you hired?" he demanded, then looked at the assistant with disdain. "How much did she pay you? I'll double it, but you'd better tell me the truth."
The assistant calmly replied, "You've misunderstood. I'm not a hired person. I'm Mr. Joshua's assistant."
Ethan frowned.
"Joshua? That surname sounds familiar."
Katerina didn't want to continue arguing with them, so she turned to leave.
Seeing this, Ethan quickly grabbed her hand. "This wedding house costs over a billion. Are you really taking this too far? Stop pretending."
Without hesitation, she pushed him away and scoffed coldly, "If I'm pretending, you'll know when you come to the wedding."
With that, she followed the assistant to the car and left.
They traveled to a few more places and bought several houses.
When she got back home, she noticed an invitation and auction catalog on the table.
Katerina wasn't interested at first and was about to throw it away, but then she saw her parents'
belongings listed on the last page of the catalog.
Her heart jolted. She quickly picked up the invitation, changed into her dress, and decided to attend Losing to My Substitute

But when she arrived at the auction, she immediately regretted it.
