Losing to My Substitute (Katerina and Joshu) -
Substitute 25
Chapter 25
The villa was warmly lit, but he didn't have the courage to knock on the door.
After being drenched in rain all night, he finally experienced, firsthand, the pain and despair that she must have felt when she had gone out in the rain to find her parents belongings. The next morning, just before the door opened, Andrew instinctively hid behind some nearby
bushes.
Through the thick greenery, he saw Joshua holding an umbrella, protecting Katerina in his arms, not
single drop of rain touching her.
The smile on her face was indescribably sweet as she nestled closely into Joshua's arms. The atmosphere between them was one that no one could intrude upon.
A wave of self-loathing swept over Andrew, making him feel inferior.
It wasn't until the two of them had left in their car that Andrew finally emerged from the bushes.
He wasn't sure if what he saw at the corners of his eyes was tears or just rainwater.
The rain washed the leaves off his body, as if he had never been there.
In the evening, when Katerina returned home, she found a box containing a jade bracelet at her
doorstep.
There was a note on the box, written in flowing handwriting:
"I'm sorry. This is my apology. If I could do it over again, I would have photographed your parents" belongings for you. I wish you happiness. I won't bother you again. - Andrew" Upon reading these words, Katerina remained silent for a long time, then finally took the box with. the jade bracelet inside.
She then looked at Joshua and urged, "Why haven't you opened the door yet?"
After they entered the house, the door closed again.
Andrew, hiding in the bushes, was already in tears.
"Is this the only way I can apologize to you?"

cate, I can't let go. I can't truly wish you happiness. But... if this makes you happy, I'm willing to do
He whispered softly, his words carried away by the wind, heard only by himself.
He had loved her for so many years-how could he simply let go with just a few words?
His love for her had been real, but the mistakes he made and the pain he caused were also real.
He couldn't make her forgive him, so he could only use this humble way to seek peace in his heart
In the end, even Andrew didn't know how he left the place.

Back home, he packed his bags, ready to leave. Just as he was about to step out the door, he stopped by Ethan. "Andrew, where are you going?"
Ethan asked, furrowing his brows in confusion.
Andrew, with a blank expression, replied, "To the club. I plan to do closed training for the next competition."
"My age is no longer an advantage. To win next time, I need to train harder."
Then, he grabbed his suitcase and left, never looking back.
Ethan stood frozen, feeling that the entire house had become unusually cold.
There were still things he wanted to say to Andrew, but before he could, Andrew was already in the
car, leaving.
Looking at the evidence he had gathered, Ethan's expression turned grim, his whole body exuding a suppressed, tense atmosphere.
He entered the house, and the next second, a fragile figure pressed against him.
His expression subtly chilled as he unobtrusively avoided Bethany's hand.
"Ethan, Andrew suddenly left, and I couldn't stop him. Could something have happened to him?"
Looking at her feigned concern, Ethan's gaze darkened as he stared at her, trying to see through her Chapte
innermost thoughts.
At that moment. Tony walked out from behind Ethan, casually playing with his pla
"Concerned about Andrew? Why don't you worry about yourself first? ""What?"
Bethany struggled to suppress her panic, forcing a smile as she asked nonchalantly.
Ethan took out a document and slapped it onto her face, his tone harsh.
"For these two car accidents, you'd better give me a reasonable explanation."
