Chapter 481 Endless Difficulties (Part Four)

With a sly smile on his thin lips, Brian asked with doubt, "Happy, is that so?" He then said, almost mumbling to himself, "How can I let her go with her happiness so easily?"

Tony felt chills as he had goosebumps down his spine. According to the date, Molly had been two months pregnant by the time she left. Even if she had not taken any examination before that so that nobody else had known about her pregnancy, how couldn't it have been found during her eyes exchange operation? The operation was conducted by Dr. He, who should have known about this, but he had not said a word about this from beginning to end. This is how Molly had left with the baby finally.

With a self-mockery expression, Brian stood up and walked to his bedroom. While walking, he took off all what he wore. As his strong, chiseled body was naked and exposed under the shower, water began flowing down his wheat-toned skin, especially around the bullet wounds on his shoulder and belly.

Brian did not sleep well in the night. The curtain of night dispersed gradually. When the morning sunlight passed through the thick curtain and entered the room in a subtle manner, he got up, dressed and left.

Today was the handicapped child charity concert hosted by Dream and Russell, and Spark as well as many well-known musicians would join the event, as it gained traction among music circle in the whole world. After the afternoon concert, the charity fundraising event would be conducted in the evening.

Meanwhile, at the hotel, Molly too did not sleep the entire night. Her face did not look good, while the rims of her eyes were somewhat red and swollen and her entire face seemed blotted, it was evident that the stress was eating at her. Mark was quite sincere, he felt Molly's unhappiness. He thought it was because the result of their examinations was not optimistic, without thinking more about it.

Seeing Spark wiping the violin, a greedy glimmer of hope flashed in Daniel's eyes. He said, "You didn't mention your name yesterday. I never imagined that my brother-in-law would be Spark, the famous violinist!"

For the longest time, such admiring tones always fell on deaf ears with Spark. He said indifferently, "It doesn't matter who I am in front of the outsiders. What is important is that I'm Molly's husband in front of her and Mark's daddy in front of him. They are my world." Feeling the firm dedication in his soft and sincere words, Molly's hands, which was tidying the music score, paused for a moment. She gradually raised her head to look at Spark with gratitude. Yesterday, he just held her in his arms silently, without asking anything. He was always so considerate and loving, but suddenly she did not know how to get along with him. Considering Daniel and Mark's issues, she had complex feelings which she did not know how to resolve without hampering their relationship. Molly lowered her head, the light in her eyes turned dark, as she went on tidying the music score. The same time, Mark jumped towards Spark and held his legs with his arms, smiling, as if he was saying, "Daddy is the same important to Mark!"

Looking at the harmonious and happy family of three, Daniel's sight kept flickering. He did not come back to reality until Manny came to join them with a suit for Daniel in his hands.

They ate something casually at the hotel and changed into the formal attire, with plans of heading to the concert. Daniel was no stranger to Manny. Even though both of them had not met before, Manny knew that Molly had been looking for him for the last several years. He just did not expect that the sister and brother would meet again in such a miraculous way. As a person who liked gossip, he wanted to pry out some chunk of the story, but he was forced to give up by Spark's relentless stares.

"It is time to go, and the car sent by the hotel is waiting downstairs for us..." Manny said as he curled his lips. He walked towards Mark, who was also wearing a suit and a red bow tie, looking like a young gentleman.

Mark and Manny were hand in hand. All of them headed downstairs together. When the five of them walked out of the elevator, Brian walked to them with steady and domineering stride, with one hand in the trouser pocket. Manny was speaking to Mark, so they did not notice Brian. But the other three turned pale the moment they saw Brian.

Spark slightly frowned. Molly's face turned deathly pale. Daniel's first reaction was to escape.
