"Ah... cough, cough! Tiana, how did you get in here?!" Endora was taken aback, completely caught off guard as she felt Tiana's grip tightening around her throat!

"Let go of me..." she gasped, hitting Tiana with feeble slaps.

But Tiana's hands were like iron, her body radiating a terrifying hatred.

Endora's breathing became labored, her face turning a shade of deep purple as she tried to kick her away, "Tiana, I'm telling you, my parents are right here in the hospital! Help, somebody!" "Mmm..." Tiana scoffed, covering her mouth with disdain.

Endora was like a fish out of water, struggling for her last breaths.

"I dare to come here, do you think I care about your venomous parents? We might as well end it all today.

You should never have crossed my father, Endora. If you wanted a fight, you should've come at me.

You're heartless. Today, I'll give you a taste of your own medicine."

With a sinister smile, Tiana noticed Endora's 'attempted suicide' wrist and her eyes gleamed with a violent light as she pressed down on it.

"What are you doing?!" Indeed, Endora's wrist was cut, and it hurt fiercely.

Tiana eyed the bandage, "Crying wolf, aren't you? I saw the news saying you're crippled for life because of Parker. How about... I make it a reality right now?"

She turned and picked up a kitchen knife from the bedside table.

Endora's eyes widened in terror.

She realized Tiana had lost it!

Panicking, she looked around the hospital room, noticing the absence of her nurse and her parents. Shrinking back, she screamed, "Somebody help! Where's my bodyguard, save me!"

"Of course, I sent him away." Tiana viciously placed the knife on Endora's wrist, ready to slice through.

Endora was terrified.

She hadn't expected Tiana to come at her with such desperation.

Her lips quivered as she looked at her own wrist, her face still twisted in a mocking, cold smile, "Think carefully, Tiana. This hospital is full of surveillance cameras! I'm the talk of Banyan City right now, Parker is especially concerned about me after my 'suicide attempt'. If you lay a finger on me, you won't get away with it... Ah!"

The knife pierced through the bandage and into her freshly stitched skin.

Endora screamed in agony.

While Tiana peeled back the bandage, her eyes bloodshot, she reveled in Endora's pain, "Hurts, doesn't it?

You targeted my father, a man with a heart condition, and made us suffer the same.

As for your fame and how much Parker worries about you, why should I care?

Surveillance cameras? Ha." She pointed at the camera at the door, her voice cold as ice, "I'll take care of the footage. Don't worry! It won't capture how I turn you into a real cripple, shall we?"

Her laughter grew deeper.

Endora remembered Tiana's expertise in hacking!

She didn't want to lose, nor did she want her delicate hands to be chopped off. She howled, "Dare to touch me and see. Be aware of your family's situation; your father's about to die in custody for murder!"

"Exactly, that's why I'm here to blackmail you, release him, or I'll sever your tendons."

Tiana held the knife steadily, her eyes deep and terrifying.

Endora finally understood, pushing someone to their limits could drive them insane.

She tried to remain calm, sneering, "The hallway's full of people. Even if you destroy the footage, if you sever my arteries and leave covered in blood, they're all witnesses! My parents are nearby, and let me tell you" "Don't think by threatening me with a life-for-life, I'll let your father go!

The thing is, my marriage to Parker is drawing near. If all goes well, we'll be married in a half month. Within this period, you must marry Barclay. I want Parker to be disgusted by you, a shameful woman who got pregnant before marriage and shamelessly entered the Doonan family.

You always act so innocent in front of him, a white lotus! If you want him to spare you a glance,

then I'll make sure he sees you for the greedy, despicable woman you are, willing to marry Barclay for money. Once you're tarnished in his eyes, you're nothing.

Parker loves me. My 'suicide' has made him very distressed and guilty, so our marriage will go smoothly.

Don't even think about seducing him again! Don't think I don't know what you're up to. It's because of you, that Parker and I haven't married yet. Take a good look at yourself; what makes you think you're worthy of his attention?" Endora's 'suicide' was clearly staged.

Parker felt distressed and guilty?

At that moment, thinking of her father, accused of murder and detained, Tiana's heart ached even more.

Did he know? Did he know how his dear friend was harming her father?

Tiana glared at Endora, "You're not just delusional; you're a paranoid victim.

In reality, you're just a pathetic creature. Unable to win Parker's love, it's because you lack charm, cousin! What use is demeaning me or harming my family? You'll never get the love you desire. You're just a tragedy!"

"Shut up!" Endora, provoked to her core, couldn't bear the indignation.

Yes, Parker didn't love her. Despite her efforts and pretense over three years, he didn't even desire her!

Her face flushed with rage, she looked up at Tiana, "Enjoy your moment! Tiana, I might not have told you, but your father in detention has been fed a certain drug. Without the antidote in three days, he'll die of a heart attack in his dark cell. Is that what you want?" She sneered.

"What?" Tiana's expression was blank, her sanity slipping away as she cut into Endora's skin, "What did you feed him? Give me the antidote! If he doesn't make it out alive, you can forget marrying Parker. Your wedding will turn into your funeral!"

"I knew you wouldn't comply easily and marry Barclay. I just took an extra precaution."

The Caldwell family was pressing charges, claiming that Tiana's father had committed murder, and he was locked up with no way out. Worse, he had been poisoned, a toxin slowly working its way to his heart, promising death within three days. "You better make a deal with me today," the voice sneered, oozing with malice. "Marry Barclay and let my wedding be the talk of the century. Do you understand your situation now? Still think you can lay a hand on me? You're out of your league."

They had poisoned her father, but when? All this, just to force her into a corner, to marry Barclay without a fight.

Collapsing under the weight of her reality, Tiana lashed out with the knife, "Looks like I have no choice but to marry Barclay. Well, enjoy your life crippled and married to Parker, living the high life, Endora!" A scream pierced the hospital room.

Hearing the commotion, someone outside rushed to inform the bodyguards, stirring up chaos.

Outside the hospital, Parker's underling glanced at him, lost in thought and not leaving the car, dragged here against his will to visit Endora.

Approaching, the underling relayed what he'd heard to Parker, "Mr. Doonan, there's been some trouble in Miss Endora's room. Apparently, Tiana barged in and there was a fight."

"Tiana? She's back in Banyan City?" Parker's groggy eyes snapped open, his handsome face appearing at the car window, his expression cold yet his heart racing. "Let them fight. She didn't hurt her hand, did she?" The underling was at a loss for words. Was that really the concern here?

Endora was the woman Parker was being forced to marry, and yet, here he was, concerned about Tiana's well-being.
