Carmen gasped and stumbled back a few steps, caught just in time by her maid. Staring into her son's resolute eyes, she was taken aback, her lips trembling slightly with anger. Pointing at the woman Parker was holding tightly, she exclaimed, "You... Are you planning to elope? Foolish! You might escape now but not forever. If you dare to do this, the Doonan family will truly face a scandal because of you this time!"

Parker had his doubts, but at this moment, he couldn't care less.

Originally, Ludwik had shocked the entire Harmonia Country at Whitney's wedding, becoming the talk of the town.

He wasn't trying to mimic that, but he felt life was too short. Everyone deserved to live for themselves at least once, regardless of the consequences.

If he had to choose between power and love, perhaps... deep down, he was a hopeless romantic.

Thinking of his grandfather... Parker's lips thinned, his eyes as deep as abysses.

He no longer glanced at the high society guests whispering in the church. They were irrelevant, as was everything else but Tiana.

Their world needed no intrusion from outsiders.

Wrapped in the cold wind, Parker seemed unstoppable, dragging Tiana out of the church. None of the Doonan family's bodyguards dared to follow, all intimidated by his aura. The young master, usually so resolute and unyielding, was acting out of character. Parker's unstoppable demeanor even left Whitney speechless, who hadn't figured out how to persuade Tiana to stay. Eventually, she could only watch as Parker 'abducted' Tiana!

Such madness. He was no less daring than Ludwik had been...

Whitney stood frozen, her heart racing, as she watched Tiana's frail silhouette being lifted into a helicopter. She let out a heavy sigh, her emotions quietly soaring with excitement.

"Mommy... Mommy! I want to go too, I want to go with you and Daddy Parker!" Cherry stomped her feet in frustration, her little legs chasing after them until she stumbled at the church's entrance. Ashton nudged Whitney.

Snapping back to reality, Whitney quickly picked up Cherry, dusting off her dress. "Cherry..."

"Whitney, you have to stop Mommy! It's great, Daddy Parker is a real hero. He caught that Barclay today, and since he saw Mommy had no one to marry, he kindly married her!"

"...Well, that wasn't exactly out of kindness."

He had been plotting this all along, utterly unexpected.

Hearing about Tiana's wedding to Barclay, Parker had been a cold fury. Whitney almost believed Parker would marry Endora out of spite.

Thinking back to Parker's domineering move at the wedding...

Whitney couldn't help but smirk, whispering to Ashton with a thumbs-up, "The Doonan family's young master is indeed himself, turning the wedding into such a surprise. It took seeing the coffin for him to finally shed tears. Ha."

Ashton offered a half-smile, shaking his head at Tiana's naivety and disdain for Parker's antics, "That kid must've been desperate. All his brooding before the wedding... Damn, I practically announced Tiana was getting married, and he ignored me. Thought he'd given up... Tiana finally got him to take a step."

"Not just a step, Parker took ninety-nine. I'm impressed. Despite his hatred, he's got a high EQ for a man, fighting to take back the woman he loves. Honestly, he seems smarter than both you, Ashton, and Ludwik." Ashton: "..."

Wasn't this supposed to be a joint rant about Parker? Why drag Ludwik into it?

If it weren't for Whitney's recent good deed, Ashton would've been tempted to argue back.

Swallowing his irritation, Ashton took the crying Cherry from Whitney, softening his tone for once, "Hey, little one, don't cry. Your mommy and Parker eloping is a good thing!

If you want them to truly be married and give you a family, give them some time."

Whitney nodded, reassuring Cherry with a sly smile, "Don't worry, sweetie. Seeing how Parker acted, he's ready to face the consequences for your mommy. She'll be fine. And if anything happens, I'll make sure your family is reunited."

Ashton squinted, whispering, "When's the paternity test result coming?"

"It should be soon, just about an hour and a half from the airport here."

Ashton glanced at Cherry, then said, "You follow them, I'll meet the courier."

Whitney shook her head, her eyes sharp as she surveyed the chaotic wedding scene. Carmen stood aside, supported by a maid, her face a mask of frustration and silence.

Beside Carmen, Doonan family relatives were pointing and gossiping.

Whitney sighed softly, "Things are calm now because Winston isn't here; he's at the police station. Look at those Doonan elders, definitely blaming Parker. Carmen looks so upset because Parker left. We need to stay, ready for any trouble, to protect them for now." Ashton, not as quick to catch on, thought it over and agreed.

The best man bolted at his own wedding, leaving a mess for someone else to clean up.

He touched his straight nose, raising an eyebrow, "I bet when Winston finds out what Parker pulled off, there'll be hell to pay!"

"So, we've got to sniff around for info here." Whitney, hand in hand with Cherry, had a touch of blissful tenderness in their gaze, "Hopefully, they don't turn on each other. If there are any issues, they should just face them head-on and deal with them." "That all depends on whether Tiana's willing to open up," Ashton snorted.

Whitney snorted back at him, "Don't just blame the ladies. First off, Parker needs to shed his prickles. Which woman can stand a man who's all over the place, moody and quick to anger?"

"He's only like that because Tiana's pushing him to it," Ashton stubbornly believed Tiana was hiding something.

Whitney was too frustrated to engage with such a typical insensitive guy.

The helicopter roared over Banyan City's Sea Bay, its frequent turbulence and the cold air blasting through the open windows nearly making Tiana hurl.

She covered her pale lips, sneaking peeks at the man next to her, who sat unmoved by the chaos.
