"I... I have no idea what you're saying!"

It was clear Whitney had come to confront her about Elaine, causing Endora to clutch at her shirt.

She silently stepped back, hastily trying to reach for the interrogation room door.

Whitney forcefully pushed her down to sit, her tone turning icy cold, "You've been colluding with her! What kind of pie in the sky did she promise you to take the fall?

Endora, how could you be so naive? You're going to end up behind bars just the same, she's not going to save you, she'll just go scot-free.

She gave you all these bright ideas, and look where it's gotten you! What kind of spell did she cast on you to let the most venomous woman off the hook?"

Her fury was almost piercing through Endora's gaze.

The woman gripped the edge of the handcuffs tightly, her fingertips twisting in agitation. Whitney's presence was overpowering, causing Endora to involuntarily shrink back.

By law, Whitney couldn't touch her, so she bit back her anger, lowering her voice, "Once Elaine gets out, she'll be living the high life, while you rot in jail for taking the blame. If I were you, I'd never let the instigator get away with it! Get up, go out there and change your testimony. If you're going down, you should drag Elaine down with you!"

Endora's pupils dilated, her teeth clenched tight.

Whitney, noticing the fear flickering in her eyes, subtly reached into her pocket for the voice recorder.

She wanted to trap Endora into confessing!

If Endora admitted to taking the blame, even revealing a shred of truth, Whitney could have Elaine thrown back in jail, with no chance of redemption!

And expose Ashton's blindness, to finally see Elaine for who she truly is!

"Speak up. Are you ready to take all the blame and serve an extra decade or more in prison unknowingly? What did Elaine promise you?" Whitney pressed on relentlessly.

Endora's gaze flickered.

She had her doubts when deciding to make a deal with Elaine.

Even now, she was extremely anxious. Once Elaine was free, she might betray her.

But... she had also threatened Elaine, warning her of the consequences if she didn't hold up her end of the bargain!

Endora glared at Whitney, slowly releasing a chilling laugh, "You're in cahoots with Tiana, you're ten times worse than her, Ms. Valentine. Surely you didn't visit me today out of the goodness of your heart, and I'm not that foolish!" Endora's cold gaze swept over Whitney from head to toe.

The voice recorder in Whitney's pocket was pressed against her side.

She gave a cool smile, "Ms. Melford, you chose the wrong time to be naive. Don't you see? Elaine is the reason you're in this mess!"

"I guess you all want her dead, huh! No need to stir up trouble here." Endora coldly smirked, standing up to lower her voice at Whitney, "What, should I just sit back and hope you, Tiana, or Parker would spare me? You'd never let me off the hook!

Rather than being driven to death by you all, ha..."

She deliberately avoided the critical point, but Whitney got the underlying message. Endora was convinced Parker wouldn't forgive her; she was facing a death sentence.

At that moment, Elaine's offer, whatever it was, seemed worth trying to Endora.

It seemed unlikely her testimony would change easily; she and Elaine were in too deep.

It was a foolish act of complicity to the end.

Whitney, with a frosty demeanor, stared at Endora, who was now smirking silently, pointing accusingly, "During the time it takes to close the case, you might want to think about changing your testimony. You've forgotten something crucial. Even if Elaine can help you from the outside, if Parker wants you dead by dawn, he won't let Elaine keep you alive till dusk! Do you really think Elaine can outmaneuver Parker? That's foolish!

I'll also make sure to remind Parker, not to let you off."

With her threat laid out, she grabbed her bag, her slender legs carrying her out.

Leaving Endora slumped in her chair, her face pallid and rigid.

Could she really rely on Elaine?
