At Bryce's mansion, a sense of urgency filled the air as his secretary hastily reported Whitney's return to Emperor City. Bryce, with a gauntness shadowing his features, couldn't help but smirk coldly, as if everything was unfolding as he had anticipated. "This is exactly the kind of diversion I needed. I'm about to blow their son to smithereens, and with Whitney back in town, he'll surely summon Ludwik home posthaste. Once Ludwik is out of Eurovoria, Florence can pull the wool over everyone's eyes and accomplish our grand plan," he mused, his eyes narrowing in thought. Despite his careful planning, Bryce was irked that Ludwik had somehow caught wind of Florence's whereabouts in Germinia. Nonetheless, he took solace in the fact that Florence had successfully met with the woman in question.

Back in Germinia's capital, Florence was putting her plan into action. Surrounded by her entourage of eight, including a maid and seven bodyguards, she found it easier to blend in and execute her scheme.

For days, she had been shadowing Miss Tennyson, a workaholic with a penchant for punctuality, to learn her daily routine to and from the Inko Towers. The next morning, as the cool breeze from the Sea Bay wafted through the city, Florence readied herself. As the streets of the CBD buzzed with activity, a sleek black Lincoln made its way towards Inko Towers. The car stopped briefly at a café, where a blond-haired, blue-eyed manager handed over a coffee to the driver, greeting Miss Tennyson in the backseat. Miss Tennyson, buried in her work schedule, nodded briefly at the manager before turning her attention back to her tasks. Despite her poised exterior, she mentioned needing to visit the clinic due to a headache, a symptom of her amnesia which seemed to resurface every year with fragmented memories.

Her assistant, sensing her distress, suggested that her discomfort might be connected to significant events or people from her past. Listening to him, Parisa Tennyson couldn't help but feel lost, her past a puzzle she couldn't solve.

As they approached Inko Towers, an unexpected figure a woman, visibly pregnant and distressed-suddenly darted in front of their car, pleading for help. Behind her, three burly men with guns chased after her, firing shots.

The assistant, prioritizing Miss Tennyson's safety, swerved the car in a desperate attempt to avoid the woman, all the while trying to shield his boss from any potential harm.

But fate had other plans. The woman, in a frantic bid to escape her pursuers, collided with their car, her cries for help echoing in the morning air as the situation took a harrowing turn.

"Oh no, Ms. Tennyson, we've hit someone." The assistant, after parking the car, spoke with a calm yet swift tone.

Parisa lifted her eyes from the documents, the sudden crash sending a chill through her. She glanced at her assistant stepping out of the car and quickly followed, her heels clicking sharply against the pavement.

At the front of the car, a pool of blood stained the ground, where a woman in a dress, visibly pregnant, lay.

She was sprawled on the ground, her head bleeding, crying as she clutched at the assistant's leg, lifting her face, "It hurts, sir, madam, please help me! There are people after me... they want to kill me..." The assistant bent down, intending to help the woman up.

But the moment he saw her face, he froze in shock. Why did she look so much like Ms. Tennyson?
