Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1322: No need to sleep in separate rooms.

"Am I wrong?" asked Paulina.

Alvaro shook his head, "No, you're right. The brother is from La familia Leoz, of course he has to go back to La familia Leoz."

"Then he will have to work hard for a while yet." Paulina said, "Your brother has not recovered his memory, don't think he can stand the company." Alvaro lost his smile, "Don't worry, I was just joking with him. Even if he gets his memory back, I won't let him take over my job right away." "Thanks."

These days, if it weren't for him, the Leoz Group and The Leoz Family would be in a mess.

"No need to be so polite as a family." Alvaro smiled at her.

After finishing the soup, Mrs. Gloria saw that Marcos was a little tired and asked Paulina to take him upstairs to rest.

"I had the maids clean the room and the sheets and bedspreads are new, so you can sleep right away." said Mrs. Gloria.

Paulina said "yes" and took Marcos upstairs.

Upon returning to the room, Paulina looked at the only bed and said to Marcos, "You can sleep here, I will go sleep with the baby."

With that, she turned to leave.

Marcos grabbed her wrist.

Paulina turned her head.

All four eyes met.

Marcos' thin lips parted and his low, honeyed voice rang in the quiet of the room.

"We're a couple, no need to sleep in separate rooms."

Paulina, of course, didn't want them to sleep in separate rooms, but she feared he would be uncomfortable sleeping in the same bed now that he had lost his memory. "Don't worry, I won't touch you until I get my memory back." Marcos thought she was worried about that.

Paulina blushed instantly, "You're thinking too much. I'm just afraid you'll feel uncomfortable and that's why I want to sleep in a separate room."

If she hadn't lost her memory, they would have been an old married couple.

But she was still shy.

How cute.

The corners of Mark's mouth lifted involuntarily, and he looked at her with a particularly tender gaze.

"Don't worry, I won't feel uncomfortable." He told her.

"All right then."

Now that he had said that, Paulina stayed.

She went into the checkroom, pulled out her pajamas and put them on her hands. "Go take a shower, you'll be more comfortable." "Okay."

Marcos took the pajamas and went into the bathroom.

And Paulina went to the children's room to spend some time with the two little ones.

When she got back to her room, Marcos had already gotten out of the shower and was drying his hair with a towel.

She went straight to the bathroom and came out with a hair dryer.

"I'll dry your hair."

Marcos tried to refuse, but before the words could come out, she was sitting on the edge of the bed.

The sound of the hair dryer buzzed in his ears as her fingers gently tousled his hair.

Mark looked at the seriousness of her face and his heart instantly filled.

After drying his hair, Paulina looked into his deep, dark eyes and froze, then smiled, "Why are you looking at me like that?" "Because you're pretty."

Paulina let out a laugh, "Aren't you tired of looking at me after all this time?".

"I guess I shouldn't get tired of looking at me, either the me from before or the me with amnesia." Marcos replied earnestly. Paulina bit her lower lip and suddenly lowered her head, kissing his lips.

She had only pretended to touch them gently.

Who knew that suddenly her waist tightened and her whole body pressed against him.

He deepened the kiss.

Her heart fluttered.

Paulina slowly closed her eyes and let herself be attacked by him.

The atmosphere in the room became more and more enchanting. Damn!

The hair dryer fell to the floor.

Marcos came to and pushed Paulina away.

Paulina looked at him blankly.

Marcos took a deep breath, suppressing the dryness in his body, and his voice was uncontrollably dark, "Go to sleep."

With that, he lay down on the bed and turned over, his back to Paulina.

Paulina reached up and touched her lips, which were a little numb, and a slight sweetness flooded her heart.

Although she had lost her memory, she still had feelings for him.

At the thought of this, she felt instantly sure that he would regain his memory.

...

Earlene had been gone for two days and Rawlins thought she would have settled in and called her to ask what was wrong. But the phone kept ringing.

He thought it was strange and called Marcos.

It didn't take him long to answer.

"Hello, Marcos."

A familiar voice came out of the receiver and Rawlins asked quietly, "Where's Earlene?"

"She's resting."

"Why isn't her phone working?"

"He's dead."

Marcos answered without a moment's hesitation.

But Rawlins always sensed something was wrong: "Can you put Earlene on the phone?"

"Is there something you want to see her about?" asked Marcos.

"I just wanted to ask where you are now, what's the situation?"

"We're already overseas and we want to walk around and play for a while before we go home."

Marcos' answer was not wasted.

"So." Rawlins was half-hearted.

"If there's nothing else, I'm hanging up."

Marcos hung up the phone at once.

Rawlins slowly narrowed his eyes, his expression turning stony.

With every answer Marcos gave, it was as if he had anticipated what he was going to ask.

The more he thought about it, the more it seemed wrong.

So Rawlins asked his assistant to find out what was going on.

The results were not long in coming.

"Miss and Mr. Marcos didn't get on the plane and didn't even go to the airport."

Rawlins was surprised to hear the assistant's report, "Are you sure, how is it possible that they didn't get on the plane?" "Indeed, it is."

Rawlins frowned, "If they didn't get on the plane, where's the person?"

"I checked and found nothing."

The implication was that they didn't know where the person had gone.

It was then that Rawlins realized the gravity of the situation and was quick to order, "Keep looking and make sure you find him."

"Yes."

The deputy complied with his orders and sped away.

Rawlins dialed Marcos' number again.

This time, it was off.

Rawlins slowly lowered his hand and his gaze became stern.

It looked like there was something really wrong with Marcos.

...

Meanwhile, Earlene, who was being held in the villa, tried to escape several times, but was caught again.

"You are all trained by my nominal Father, how dare you betray him, aren't you afraid he won't forgive you?" shouted Earlene to her guards angrily. They did not flinch.

Seeing this, Earlene shouted again, "Tell Marcos I want to see him! Do you hear me? I want to see him!" "Stay here, miss, Mr. Marcos will come to see you if he wants to." Said the other man without panic.

At that, Earlene snorted, "He'll come to see me, how can he remember me if he's with that woman?". Speaking here, her expression became a little sad: "He really is too cruel to do this to me."
