Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 138: Jealousy
The temperature in the room gradually became warmer because of the kiss.
Eloise Thompson's kiss was so raw that Hector Rogers turned initiative into passivity, and before they knew it they were rolling into wear, Hector Rogers pressed against her, and through the thin clothing they could feel each other's warmth all over their bodies.
As if a simple kiss would no longer satisfy him, Hector Rogers' hands roamed over Eloise Thompson's body, a kiss that moved from lips to earlobe and then to neck ... Eloise Thompson's clothes were almost gone and she let out a sob as she touched a sensitive spot on her body.
Hector Rogers' last shred of sanity almost collapses ...
When it mattered, however, Eloise Thompson fell asleep.
The woman's eyes were closed and the sound of steady breathing came from her. Hector Rogers saw this and wanted to drag the girl up and beat her, but he couldn't.
Finally having to put her clothes back on with a bitter smile, Hector Rogers sighed and tucked Eloise Thompson in, dropping a soft kiss on her forehead before finally returning to the next room for a cold shower.
...
The following day, Eloise Thompson woke up with her head in a complete daze, blinking at her surroundings, which appeared to be Hector Rogers' room.
Memories of last night came flooding back and after leaving the party, she let Hector Rogers take her for a drink and then what...
Eloise Thompson barely remembered the rest, and she thought, with some concern, that she hadn't said or done anything she shouldn't have, had she?
Eloise Thompson sat up from her bed in a daze just as the soft and cuddly Solomon came rushing in.
"Auntie Eloise, you're awake! Breakfast is ready, come downstairs and have your breakfast."
Eloise Thompson hadn't seen Solomon in days and was so happy to see a little one that she couldn't resist picking him up and rubbing him.
Solomon was tickled and laughed and kept ducking as Hector Rogers came in just in time to see the scene and the whole thing soured.
Eloise Thompson saw him too, and although she didn't remember a lot of things when she was drunk, some things still came back to her intermittently, like the fact that the two seemed to kiss and that she seemed to have initiated it. With that thought, Eloise Thompson hurriedly let go of Solomon and ducked into the bathroom with an awkward snort.
Hector Rogers was bemused, how could there be such a difference in treatment! Upset, he looked at his son and said, "Go to your grandparents' house tonight and don't come back for a week."
Solomon looked at Hector Rogers very confused and opened his mouth to inquire, "Why?"
What's wrong with this old man, Daddy? He had just sent someone to pick him up to see Auntie Eloise and said he expected to see her for a few days, so he was going back to his grandparents' house again? Without a word, Hector Rogers grunted coldly and haughtily turned and walked down the stairs.
When Eloise Thompson finished washing up, Solomon was still waiting outside and as soon as he saw her, Solomon spat out, "Auntie Eloise, what's wrong with this daddy? Auntie Eloise, will it be a long time before I see you again?" At that, Eloise Thompson froze and on second thought figured out that this Hector Rogers was jealous of his own son?
Eloise Thompson burst out laughing, the man was so careful, he was even jealous of his own son, thought Eloise Thompson as she walked down the stairs with Solomon in her arms.
Hector Rogers was already waiting at the table for breakfast and, as usual, took Solomon to school and then Eloise Thompson to the office.
On the way, fearing that it would be a long time before he could see Eloise Thompson, Solomon relied heavily on her arms.
"Auntie Eloise, Solomon doesn't want to be separated from you."
If only I could spend every day with Auntie Eloise, Solomon thought to himself.
Eloise Thompson stroked his head and smiled, "Solomon if you want Auntie Eloise, then you can call me!"
"So can we go to Auntie Eloise's for dinner tonight? Solomon wants to eat Auntie Eloise's cooking now."
At that, Eloise Thompson gave a start, she wanted to cook for Solomon too, but Matriarch Godbold's ... If she knew she was in contact with Hector RogersSolomon again like that...... She sighed and looked into Solomon's expectant eyes eventually saying nothing.
Hector Rogers had a good idea of what was on Eloise Thompson's mind and he didn't say anything, but the car arrived at the school just in time and Eloise Thompson changed the subject. "Solomon, it's time to go to school! Remember to be good!"
Solomon was a little disappointed but spoke meekly, "Okay, don't worry, Solomon will be good, Auntie Eloise bye, Daddy bye!"
"Well, goodbye!"
After leaving the school, Hector Rogers drove Eloise Thompson to the office again. Upon arriving at the entrance of JS Creative Company, Eloise Thompson got out of the car to say goodbye to Hector Rogers, dropping in to talk about last night's events.
"Hector Rogers, thank you for showing up to help me last night."
"You were thanked last night." Hector Rogers spoke.
Eloise Thompson was stunned, she had already thanked him, why didn't she remember, had she said it when she was drunk last night?
Eloise Thompson's eyes flashed with embarrassment and she spoke again, "Yeah? By the way, I didn't get you into any trouble when I was drunk, did I?"
"No." Hector Rogers looked at her, a faint smile curling the corners of his mouth.
Indeed, it was just a matter of picking the fire and then falling asleep and letting him have a cold shower.
Eloise Thompson was relieved to hear that, but when she met his gaze and saw the faint smile on his face, her heart beat twice as fast as it did when Eloise Thompson said hello and immediately headed off to the office, looking like she had run away.
Hector Rogers went to the office with interest in his eyes and in a good mood.
...
Upon entering the office, Eloise Thompson was still a little red in the face and when she ran into Layla Davidson, she rushed to apologise: "Manager Layla, I'm sorry! There was an incident at the party last night and I left early."
I was supposed to go to work, but I didn't expect to run into the Thompson family and have that happen.
"It's okay, I more or less heard about what happened at the party last night, I'm to blame for leaving you there alone, it's good that you're okay."
Layla Davidson couldn't be happier... if something had happened to Eloise Thompson, their CEO wouldn't have let her off the hook! "Thank you Manager Layla."
The two then talked a bit more about work and probably just thought about the next time they had a chance to see Paige Coldwell.
...
This way, upon arriving at the office, the assistant gave a report on the aftermath of last night's party.
"President, Ela Turner was taken away by the police last night and the Thompson family have all left the party."
"Hmm." Hector Rogers nodded and responded lightly, his gaze sinking slightly as he thought about what had happened to Eloise Thompson last night, then spoke again, "Tell the police to be fair and not to let the Thompson family use any tactics."
"I got it, President."
