Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1416: Awkward everything!
With an order from the director, the shooting started at full speed.
Esteban found it too boring and shook off Monte's hand forcefully, "Be careful, I'm going back to class."
"Esteban!" said Monte, who didn't want him to leave, but couldn't take his eyes off him.
It was the first time he had seen a TV show on the set.
"I really don't want to watch it." Esteban reiterated one last time and turned to leave.
Suddenly, there was a thud behind him.
It was followed by shouts of surprise.
Esteban looked back and saw a man on the basketball court, on the ground.
But the director didn't say "cut," but kept rolling.
It should be part of the plot.
"You fouled!"
"He fell down, what do we care?"
The two sides playing basketball clashed, shoved each other, and I don't know who cursed, but they immediately got into a fight.
The people around looked stunned, thinking it was a drama, and no one thought it was bad.
The scene became more and more intense, with both sides throwing punches and kicks, challenging each other, and some were beaten until they vomited blood. Watching this scene, Stephen's feet felt like they were fixed to the ground, unable to move, his eyes fixed on the pool of crimson blood on the floor. "Watch out!"
Someone suddenly shouted.
Esteban regained his attention and looked up to see the basketball flying straight toward Monte.
"Monte!" he exclaimed.
Monte was too late to dodge and the basketball hit him squarely in the face, his small body unable to withstand the impact and he fell backwards to the ground. Esteban rushed to his aid.
Monte was knocked unconscious, his eyes squeezed shut and blood from his nose dripped down his jaw and onto Esteban's arm.
The shooting had to be stopped and Monte had to be transported to the hospital.
Esteban returned to the classroom and when he closed his eyes, he saw the blood on the basketball court and Monte's nosebleed.
The warm sensation of the blood dripping down his arm still seemed to be there.
It was uncomfortable!
It was uncomfortable!
Esteban's eyes grew irritated and his hand tightened around his pencil.
Click!
The girl sitting across from him heard the sound and turned her head, exclaiming, "Esteban, you've broken the pencil!"
At the sound, Esteban looked down and saw that the pencil in his hand had broken into two pieces, his eyes blinked and he silently put it away and picked up a new one. The student asked with concern: "Are you okay?".
Esteban replied coldly, "Yes," and looked down at the book on his desk.
...
Arriving home in the evening, Paulina went to check on the two little ones before going to her room to change.
She had just left her room when an angry shout came from Esteban's room.
"Get out of here!"
It was Esteban's voice.
Before he could be surprised, out came Sweety's screams.
He rushed into Esteban's room.
There was Sweety sitting on the floor bawling, and at her feet was a box of stationery broken in half.
"Shut up at once! Stop crying!" Esteban was so distracted by the crying that he yelled at Sweety.
By now, he was all hostile and glassy-eyed, nothing like a child.
If it wasn't his sister standing in front of him, Paulina had no doubt he would have gone for Sweety's neck.
"What's going on here?" she rushed over and held Sweety.
"Mom!" Sweety threw herself into his arms in aggression.
Paulina saw that her nose was red from crying, so she wiped her tears and asked softly, "Did you have a fight with your brother?"
Sweety looked at Esteban and sobbed, "My brother was mean to me when I broke his stationery box."
Paulina turned her head toward Esteban, who immediately turned his face away.
Her eyebrows drew together and she asked, "Esteban, what's wrong with you, how can you be mean to your sister?"
Esteban clenched his fist, "She was the one who broke my stationery box first!".
"Even if she is, you can't be that mean!" Paulina took a deep breath and said patiently, "Esteban, Sweety is your sister and you've never been that mean to her." Esteban pursed his lips and his eyes blushed slightly.
Paulina realized her words might have been biased and turned to Sweety, "Sweety, don't cry. Brother was just being mean to you in the heat of the moment." Sweety looked at Esteban with resignation.
The way he had been mean to her a moment ago was really frightening and strange to her.
Esteban looked at her red, watery eyes and felt bad too.
He didn't know what was wrong with her, but when he saw the box of stationery fall to the floor and break in half, his anger immediately surged.
"What's wrong?" Mark heard the commotion and immediately went over to check it out.
"Sweety broke Esteban's stationery box and Esteban is very angry." Paulina gave an overview of the situation.
"Dad, brother was really mean!" Sweety ran over to Marcos and complained aggressively.
Marcos' expression sank a little and his deep gaze turned to Esteban.
As soon as Esteban touched her gaze, he lowered his head and folded his hands restlessly in front of him.
"Sweety, it's your fault for breaking your brother's stationery box, apologize to him." said Paulina.
Sweety bit her lip and looked at Esteban with some shyness in her eyes.
"Esteban, Sweety didn't mean it. You shouldn't have been mean to her, and you should apologize to her, too."
Indeed, the moment Sweety cried, Esteban was sorry, but his own emotions were simply out of control.
At that moment, under the watchful eyes of Paulina and Marcos, he meekly apologized to Sweety, "Sweety, I'm sorry, my brother shouldn't have been mean to you." Sweety raised his hand to wipe away his tears and shook his head, "Brother, Sweety doesn't blame you. It's Sweety's fault, he shouldn't have broken your stationery box." He reached over and took Esteban's hand, "Brother, don't be mad at Sweety anymore, Sweety promises he won't break your stuff again."
At these words, Esteban also gave a slight smile, "Mmm! Brother trusts you."
Relieved to see the two little ones reconciled, Paulina looked at Marcos.
Her face was not relieved when the two little ones reconciled, it was still ugly.
"Is something wrong?" she asked worriedly as she approached him.
Marcos turned his head to look at her and ordered his thoughts, "Nothing."
"Is it Esteban you're worried about?" asked Paulina again.
Marcos' eyes flickered and he didn't answer.
Paulina looked at Esteban and although he was back to normal, something didn't seem right.
"Has Esteban been affected by what happened last time?" Paulina frowned, Esteban used to adore Sweety, where had he lost his temper so much.
But what the hell was going on today?
Paulina thought of Esteban's hostile look when he was angry with Sweety just now, and the worry in her heart grew more and more.
"It's okay, don't worry." Marcos slipped his arm around her shoulders, "Esteban will be fine."
It was so reassuring, but it was something he had to tell Manuel.
