Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1555: It's not your turn to say anything.
"Mom, I don't want to go to daycare." mumbled Sweety as she leaned back on her shoulder.
Paulina stroked her little head and softly asked, "Why?".
"Because I'm scared."
When Paulina heard this, her heart broke and she said softly, "Sweety doesn't have to be afraid, Sweety has Daddy and Mommy and her brother, we will all protect you, okay?". "Are you supermen?" asked Sweety in a milky voice.
Paulina looked at Marcos and her lips curved, "Daddy is Superman."

Bergerian was taken to the hospital for treatment and the police had been stationed outside the ward and needed to take his statement.
Xabat had a criminal record and it was illegal to run an underground casino. Now that he was on the run, the police wanted to get useful clues from Bergerian's mouth and arrest Xabat soon. "What is your relationship with Xabat?" the policeman stood by the hospital bed and looked at Bergerian, who was lying on the bed, expressionless.
Bergerian did not respond.
The policeman then asked him, "What were you doing in the casino, do you know where Xabat is?"
This time, Bergerian took the floor, "I was just there to talk business, I am legal in the country, I have never done anything illegal."
The policeman frowned, he was right, he was doing legitimate business, but Xabat was not.
After that, no matter how much the police asked, Bergerian would not tell them anything.
Joaquin Robles' brow furrowed as he received the report from his subordinates.
Bergerian was so sure they could not catch him that he was emboldened.
He pulled out his cell phone and dialed Marcos: "He's got a stiff mouth and hasn't said anything."
It was to be expected from Marcos.
If Bergerian had been able to give it all up so easily, the police wouldn't have been unable to do anything for so many years.
Marcos frowned and kept silent before speaking in a soft voice: "It doesn't matter, there is plenty of time to gather evidence of his crimes."
Joaquin Robles raised an eyebrow, "I'm relieved to hear you say that. It's just that, given your style of work, it's going to be difficult to gather evidence." Bergerian was a cautious and suspicious man, and they would have a hard time getting their hands on the evidence.
"Don't worry about that, I'll take care of it." said Marcos.
Joaquin Robles smiled, "Of course I trust you."
On the other hand, Lisa was furious to learn of Bergerian's injuries, "Are you crazy? To reduce yourself to this for a woman is really crazy, insane!".
"Well, don't get so mad, be careful about getting mad." Blythe falsely consoled her.
In fact, deep down, she wanted Lisa to be angry so she could do things more ruthlessly.
"How could I not be angry?" said Lisa hatefully.
The thought of Bergerian being in that position over that woman, Paulina, was driving her crazy with jealousy!
Blythe lowered her eyes to hide the glint of light in them and spoke slowly and deliberately, "Men are stingy. They don't want a woman as good as you, but for Paulina, who is already a wife, they don't even care about her life ..." The words were like a knife, stabbing painfully into Lisa's chest.
She squeezed her palm sharply, ignoring the pain of the nails embedded in her hand, and reassured herself, "Maybe, after this, he'll come to his senses.
He would know who was really good for him.
"Coming to your senses?" Blythe snorted, "The more you can't have something, the less likely you are to let it go. Don't be so naive, he won't come around."
With those words, she patted Lisa's hand, "Well, I have things to do, so I'm leaving."
When he left, the more Lisa thought about it, the angrier she became.
The more she hated it, the more she gritted her teeth.
How could she be worse than that woman, Paulina!
Lisa was so angry that she grabbed her purse, left the house and drove to the hospital.
She knew Bergerian was badly hurt, but it still hurt a little to see him bruised and battered.
At the sight of her, Bergerian's face darkened sharply and he asked in a stern voice, "I thought you were back in your country."
Lisa approached him slowly, repressing the little pain she felt for him, and smiled coldly, "I returned to my country, but the Agnelli family business has only recently begun to develop here."
At these words, Bergerian narrowed his eyes, clearly not believing his words.
"Don't worry, I'm here to take care of business this time." Lisa looked him up and down, a sneer curving the corners of her lips, "By way of keeping an eye on your jokes!".
"Lisa!" scolded Bergerian angrily.
Whatever he looked like now, it wasn't her turn to laugh at him!
Lisa threw her arms around his waist and let out an uncontrollable, mocking laugh, "You didn't even want me for her, and all you got in return was this injury?"
Bergerian scoffed, "If you came just to say that, you can go."
Lisa's smile turned a little grim and she gritted her teeth: "You like to demean yourself that much? You owe this injury to her, do you have any courage?". "You have no say in my affairs, please leave!" Bergerian snapped back.
"You!" Lisa glared at him angrily.
