Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1587: What the hell is it?
Blythe stood in the corner and watched Sweety get on the bus and leave, the smile on her lips never abating. She had just seen the doctor hand Sweety the candy, and the silly child was smiling happily with it.
By now, it should have been eaten.
Blythe couldn't have been happier at the thought of seeing a drooling, lisping, demented child in a few moments. The Rogers Group had a demented child, and that was a big blow.
But that's not the point. The point is, what will that bitch Eloise do when she sees her already demented child?
I'm afraid whatever she does won't help, just wait until I ruin your life a little, Eloise.
It's just a shame about such a lively child.
But there was something unsettling in Blythe's mind.
She quickly took out her mobile phone and called her men, "Go to the nursery and keep an eye on that bitch's kids, report anything unusual." The caller answered with a "yes" and hung up.
Blythe left the hospital in a good mood.
When she returned home, she was in a state of high spirits and no matter what she did, all she could think about was Eloise's breakdown.
But she had waited until the afternoon and hadn't received a report from her men.
"What's going on? This drug takes effect in an hour or so, how come we haven't heard anything by now?" She muttered to herself. Could it be that she hadn't taken it!
No, I don't think so, that child is a glutton for punishment, she was clamouring to take her for ice cream earlier, how could she not have eaten the candy? But Blythe was still a little anxious when she couldn't hear anything.
In the end, she couldn't wait any longer and decided to make a trip herself to see the child's stupidity for herself.
By the time she arrived at the kindergarten, it was already time for the children to leave school in the evening.
Sweety bounced out of the school with her little schoolbag on her back and ran in one direction, diving into Eloise's arms, "Mummy!"
Eloise kissed her. Eloise stroked her head affectionately and then picked her up, smiling as she put her in the car and buckled her in before driving off. Blythe, who was hiding behind a tree, saw the scene and clenched her fists tightly, looking in the direction of the car with a very ugly look on her face. What was going on?
How could she be okay at all?
Was this medicine not working? But it couldn't be. This was the medicine Winston had given himself, there was no way it could be wrong.
Or had the child not taken the candy at all?
Blythe was almost certain that it was the second outcome and she was simply furious that she had let the boy get away with it again!
...
Eloise came home with the baby and was a little curious when she saw how happy the child seemed to be today, "Did you behave at your check-up today?"
"Don't worry, Mummy, I was very good, the doctor and the nurse praised me, and so did the teacher. It really was just like Mummy said, it didn't hurt at all, all the other children cried in fear, but I didn't." Eloise smiled and stroked her little head, "I knew our Sweety was the most obedient."
"Mmm!" Sweety nodded obediently, put her bag down and ran off to play.
Eloise smiles, picks up her bag and helps her tidy up a little.
This little girl is very reassuring when it comes to putting things away, no matter what, her bag is always neat and tidy and she can see at a glance what is missing or what is extra.
Eloise felt a little satisfied to see how her bag should look.
Suddenly Eloise's eyes settle on a corner of the bag and there seems to be something extra.
She reached out and took the object out, it was a candy.
Taking the candy, Eloise looked in the direction Sweety was playing and casually asked, "Sweety, who gave you this candy?"
Sweety tilted her head in thought and answered honestly, "It's a candy from the doctor's uncle, who said I was the best boy today, but I didn't eat it because Mummy said it grows cavities and I shouldn't eat it." From the hospital?
Eloise was a little confused, the hospital candy came in a fixed package, but the one in front of her had a unique package, nothing like the hospital's.
Something like this wouldn't have caught her attention much, but it was about Sweety and she had to pay attention.
"Do the other kids have candy like this?" Eloise asked again.
Sweety shook her head, "Not the same, just my candy looks like this, Uncle Doctor says it's a reward for the best behaved child." That's weird....
Just then, Hector came back from work too.
He saw Eloise with a candy in her hand, frowning all the time, and wondered, leaning in close to ask, "What are you looking at? Want some?"
Eloise shook her head, "No, it's a medical check-up candy from the hospital for Sweety, Sweety said that only her candy looked like this and I thought it was a bit odd that the hospital's didn't seem to be like this and, well, it's not the same as the usual candy."
"The most important thing is that there is nothing written on this packaging, not even the date of manufacture, it's like a trivial food, if that's the case, then the hospital is too irresponsible, what if the child eats it and it's bad?"
Said Eloise, the suspicion in her heart deepened, and there were vague hints of anger because the hospital was not responsible.
"Don't worry, just give it to me, I'll check it out." With that, Hector's slender fingers took the candy from Eloise's hand.
After giving the candy to Hector, Eloise trusted him to take care of it and didn't care much more.
But Eloise's words caught Hector's attention, and her concerns were not unreasonable.
Hector does some serious research and learns that there are no candies on the market that are packaged like this, or even look like it. Suddenly he had a bad feeling about this, so he opened the bag, took it out and examined it in his hands.
However, the candy felt strange to the touch, not hard, not soft, and even a little rough.
It was even stranger for such a roughly made candy to appear in a hospital.
His brow furrowed and his fingertips pressed hard, crushing the candy directly.
At once, Hector's eyes sank slightly; it wasn't candy, but a pile of white powder that looked unconventional and strange. What the hell was this?
