Solomon saw that she seemed to be spoiling daddy's fun by getting a glare from Hector Rogers, but wisely hid behind Eloise Thompson.

He said rather showily at Hector Rogers, "Daddy, after the kiss, shouldn't you go now?"

Hector Rogers took one look at Solomon and didn't say anything, but said goodbye to them and left the flat.

Eloise Thompson carried Solomon back to his room. Solomon was a very good boy and once in bed, he was fast asleep without her coaxing.
