Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 299: Don't presume to seduce Robbie
--Is it a bad day to go out?
Eloise Thompson walked out of the mall with Solomon in her hand and the thought flashed through her mind when she saw Robbie Gardner walking in front of her. She ducked her head, intending to pretend she hadn't seen it.
It's a pity Robbie Gardner doesn't have a bit of eye candy.
"Eloise."
Robbie Gardner's eyes flashed as he saw the familiar figure, and his steps unconsciously quickened.
The excitement was overwhelming as they walked up to her.
Couldn't he just pretend he didn't see it?
Eloise Thompson rolled her eyes and had to only look up at him with an expressionless face, "It's you."
Her coldness made Robbie Gardner's heart throb.
When she used to face herself, she was always smiling and particularly gentle and obedient.
Since that incident, they have become less than strangers, and every time they see each other they get into a bad mood.
"How have you been? I heard you were injured, is everything okay? Is it all healed?"
There is a hint of caution in Robbie Gardner's concern.
Eloise Thompson looked at the concerned man in front of her and sighed, it was easy to see that his concern was genuine, but so what. The damage he and Agnes Thompson had done to her could not be offset by a few concerned enquiries.
"I'm getting along fine, so don't bother not bothering. If there's nothing else, goodbye."
Eloise Thompson gave him a cold glance before leading Solomon past him.
"Eloise."
Robbie Gardner turned and locked his gaze on the slender figure.
Eloise Thompson took a step and whirled around and continued on her way, ignoring him.
Agnes Thompson was in the mall, and she didn't have the energy to deal with them if she ran into them.
"Eloise Thompson, stop right there!"
Suddenly the voice of Agnes Thompson came from behind her.
Eloise Thompson cried out in disbelief that the fear had come to pass.
"Solomon, let's go faster."
She turned her head to Solomon at her side.
Solomon nodded, "Good."
So the two walked quickly and were about to reach the car when Agnes Thompson suddenly came up from behind and reached out to stop them. Frightened, Eloise Thompson and Solomon put the brakes on.
Eloise Thompson looked at Agnes Thompson incredulously, wasn't she pregnant? How could she still be walking so fast?
"Eloise Thompson, what did you just say to Robbie?" Agnes Thompson questioned angrily.
Eloise Thompson couldn't help but laugh, with a sneer in her brow, "Agnes Thompson, you should be asking Robbie Gardner, why are you asking me?" "Eloise Thompson, I'm telling you, don't even think about seducing Robbie, you're done with him."
Agnes Thompson didn't even listen to her and yelled to herself.
"Me seducing Robbie Gardner?"
It was literally the funniest joke she had heard all year and Eloise Thompson literally burst out laughing, "Agnes Thompson, which of your eyes saw me hit on him?" "And do you think I'd even look at him now Robbie Gardner? He's nothing more than a scum bag in my eyes!"
Robbie Gardner's face changed as he heard this and his heart clogged up.
Agnes Thompson snorted coldly, "That's what you say, who knows what's in your heart?"
It's not over yet, is it?
Eloise Thompson took a deep breath, "Agnes Thompson, Robbie Gardner is a treasure in your eyes, but he's no better than a piece of shit in mine!" What she had said earlier, though hard to hear, was true and Robbie Gardner could not refute it, but what she was saying now hurt his pride. "Eloise, is that too much to say?" Robbie Gardner stared at her.
"Over the top?" Eloise Thompson sneered, "If you think I'm going too far, mind your woman and don't let her mess with me again!"
With that said, Eloise Thompson left with Solomon in tow.
"Stop right there!"
Agnes Thompson reached out to pull her in.
She side-stepped Agnes Thompson's hand, who missed it and fell forward on her unsteady feet.
"Ah!"
Agnes Thompson screamed at the top of her lungs.
"Agnes!"
Robbie Gardner and Ela Turner both cried out in surprise and reached out to grab her, but it was too late.
Eloise Thompson first froze, then reacted and reached for it, but missed, only to see Agnes Thompson fall heavily to the ground, stomach first. "My stomach... my stomach hurts..."
Agnes Thompson wailed out clutching her stomach.
Blood ran down the roots of her thighs.
Eloise Thompson was frozen at the sight of the crimson blood, even after Robbie Gardner picked up Agnes Thompson and hurried away.
"If anything happens to Agnes or the baby, I will never let you go."
Ela Turner threw down this line as she left.
"Mummy, are you all right?" Solomon tugged at her hand.
She slowly came back to her senses and turned her head to look at Solomon, barely tugging up the corner of her lips, "I'm fine."
"Mummy, that aunty is bleeding a lot, is she going to be okay?" Solomon asked again.
Eloise Thompson looked at the blood on the floor and her thin eyebrows wrinkled fiercely; as hateful as Agnes Thompson was, the baby in her belly was innocent.
She bit her lip, then said to Solomon, "Solomon, you go home with Uncle Driver first, Mummy has something to do and will go back later."
"So are we still going to the beach?"
"Go, of course."
Eloise Thompson stroked his head, then put him in the car and gave the driver a few words of explanation before hailing a taxi of her own to the hospital.
She thought Robbie Gardner would take Agnes Thompson to the nearest hospital to the mall, but when she got there, she asked the nurse and no pregnant woman was brought over for resuscitation. So where did it go?
She wanted to call Robbie Gardner and ask him about it, but finally gave up.
She had to go back home first.
Let's hope the baby is okay.
Although Agnes Thompson's fall was none of her business, her heart ached for the unborn child.
Back home, Hector Rogers had returned from a meeting.
"I heard from Solomon, are you okay?" Hector Rogers asked with concern.
Eloise Thompson shook her head and smiled slightly, "I'm fine. It's Agnes Thompson who's in trouble."
Seeing that her face didn't look right, Hector Rogers frowned, "Are you worried about her?"
"No. I'm worried about the baby in her belly."
She is still so kind.
Hector Rogers took her shoulders in his hands, leaned in slightly to look into her eyes and said softly, "Eloise, even if something did happen to the baby, it was Agnes Thompson's fault, you don't have to feel too bad."
"Is that any way to comfort someone?" Eloise Thompson gave him an uncomfortable glare before continuing, "No matter how many bad things Agnes Thompson has done and how annoying she is, the child is ultimately innocent." "But his parents are not innocent." Hector Rogers said, "This is all of Agnes Thompson and Robbie Gardner's own making."
That's true, but she couldn't be as hard-hearted as he was.
Eloise Thompson pushed his hand away, "I'm fine, you don't have to worry about me."
