Love Comes To Me
Chapter 361: You stay away from him from now on

There was a moment of silence in the car, and suddenly Hector remembered something and asked, "Rupert, do you know of any places in the city that are good for dinner and romantic?" Rupert didn't think about it and said casually, "Romantic, I think the couple's restaurant is quite good nowadays, just order a candlelight dinner."

Hector was not satisfied and frowned, "Isn't there anything else? Like a place that looks like it's got heart."

At this point Rupert finally caught a whiff of something unusual and asked, "What do you want?"

Hector's face was light, but the two words he threw out were startling, "A proposal."

Rupert froze for a moment, then immediately reacted and almost jumped out of the car, his eyes lighting up, "How can you be so calm about something so big? I'm really impressed."

At that, Hector glanced at him and said, "If you want to get excited, you can't get excited now.

Rupert gave a mock cough, "Well, you're asking the right person, my friend has just opened a spa resort in the mountains. The best part is that there's a plum blossom there, which happens to be in full bloom recently, so I think it's perfect." Hearing him describe it like that, Hector was also a little moved; the natural scenery was much more romantic than a candlelit dinner in a restaurant, and it was indeed a great place to go.

He nodded and said to Rupert, "Since you're a friend, I'm sure it's good for you to go and talk, so make the arrangements for me."

Rupert hated to pat his chest and promised, excitedly saying, "Don't worry, I'll take care of this. By the way, my sister-in-law doesn't know about your proposal yet, does she?"

Hector shook his head, then thought of something else and raised an eyebrow and warned, "If you reveal this, I will not spare you."

Even if Hector hadn't said that, Rupert wouldn't have done anything to harm himself, so he immediately promised, "Don't worry, I won't."

On the other hand, Eloise had finally had enough sleep and when she woke up, she saw Solomon staring at her with wide eyes and said with a bit of amusement, "Have you had enough sleep?" Solomon bristled, "I've had enough, unlike Mummy, who is still sleeping in the sun."

Eloise shook her head helplessly and looked out of the window to see that the sun was indeed out, so she took Solomon and went to wash up.

By the time they had finished washing up, it was already half past nine.

The maid rushed over and said, "Solomon, madam, breakfast is ready."

Eloise nodded and went over to have breakfast.

After she had eaten, she suddenly remembered that she had promised Hector that she would go to work today, and she couldn't help but feel a little chagrined that she had slept in until now.

At that moment a maid came over with the after-dinner fruit, and Eloise was busy pulling her in and asking, "What time did Hector go to the office?"

"Around seven o'clock, with the Second Prince."

"And did he say anything?"

The maid shook her head with an apologetic look.

Eloise picked up the phone, intending to call Hector, but then remembered that he was probably in a meeting at the moment, so she had to stop.

It looked like I wouldn't be able to report to the office today, so I'd have to go back tomorrow.

Yesterday, Alumni had been badly injured and she had promised to visit him, so it was better to do it today.

Thinking that, she got up and prepared to change her clothes, then thought of something and explained to the maid, "Yes, please prepare a bouquet of flowers and a fruit basket for me, I am going to visit the patient in the hospital." At that, the maid answered.

Eloise changed her clothes, cleaned up and went downstairs, and the maid had everything ready by the time she got there.

When she arrived at the hospital, Egbert was staring at his hanging bottle, and when he saw Eloise coming, his eyes lit up instantly, "Eloise, what are you doing here?"

"I promised you I would come and see you yesterday, and it just so happens that I am free today, so I came over." Eloise said as she placed her things on the bedside table.

"Have you eaten yet?" Egbert didn't know what to say, so he chose the palest possible beginning.

Eloise nodded and looked at his drip bottle again, "Finished this one, is there any more?"

Egbert nodded, "The last bottle, I've asked the doctor, he said it's not serious, just go back and get well, I'm going to be discharged today, I'll go and check in later."

Seeing how anxious he was, Eloise was a bit confused, "Are you sure it's okay? Why don't you go back to the hospital for a couple of days?"

Egbert shook his head, "It's fine, it's not that serious, plus there's a lot going on in the company now, even if I stay in the hospital, I'm still thinking about the company, so I might as well go back and keep an eye on it, at least for peace of mind."

In fact, Eloise understood what he meant, but she was still a bit worried and her brow was furrowed without realising it.

Seeing this, Egbert hurriedly reassured, "Don't worry, it'll be fine."

As the two of them talked, the medicine was almost gone, and Egbert rang the call bell at the bedside.

Egbert pressed his hand to make sure it wasn't bleeding before he said to Eloise, "Wait here for a minute, I'll go and check out, it won't take long."

Eloise wanted to go for him, but he wouldn't, so Eloise had to wait in the ward.

It was about twenty minutes before Egbert came over with the list and said, somewhat apologetically, "Sorry, the queue was a bit long, so I kept you waiting."

Eloise was just about to say that it didn't matter when a young girl came out of nowhere and threw her arms around Egbert, saying, "Brother Egbert, I've been waiting for you downstairs for ages, but I haven't seen you come down." She made a point of looking at Eloise after saying this, and there seemed to be a hint of hostility in her eyes.

Egbert said, "I've just been discharged from the hospital and I'm fine now. You've only been waiting for a while and you can't wait? You're a real hothead."

As soon as he finished speaking, he heard the girl turn to Eloise and say, "Are you the woman who put Egbert's brother in hospital? I'm telling you, you stay away from him from now on."

Egbert didn't expect the girl to say that out of the blue, so he said, "What are you doing?"

The girl turned away with a grunt and a grunt of anger.

Once she faced Egbert, she smiled sweetly again, looking harmless.

Eloise shook her head helplessly, she was a bratty young lady, so there was no point in taking it personally, so she turned to Egbert and said, "Alumni, since everything is fine, I'll be going back." Egbert was about to say something else, but thought better of it.

So Eloise went straight home.
