Hector absently stroked Eloise's hair and said nonchalantly, "It's not because of that nice son-in-law of theirs, Robbie was already an ambitious man.

"It's better Mum, Dad knows how to be mean to me now, I see nah he's just trying to browbeat that bitch Eloise now." Agnes said viciously.

Ela's mother and daughter looked like they were cut from the same cloth.

On the other side of the hospital, Rupert's back had healed considerably and most of it had scabbed over.

Aisly medicated him and was a little sad to see the shocking wounds, if it wasn't for her he wouldn't have suffered so much.

Aisly didn't say anything.

Later in the evening, while Hector went to take care of work, Eloise had nothing better to do than look up the state of the Thompson Group on the Internet and found that the situation was far worse than she had imagined. Some of the Thompson family's oldest employees have been poached by Robbie, and even people close to Josh have jumped ship, leaving the Thompson Group as an empty shell.

Eloise couldn't help but frown at the information on the Internet. This Robbie, who chose to stay with her in the first place, couldn't have done it for the Thompson family's fortune, could he?
