Ela was equally shocked to hear the news, not expecting such a mistake to happen at such a tight spot.

Her heart was overwhelmed with resentment towards the late Mr Josh, whom she had thought the whole company was Josh's at the time, and that was why she had defiantly married him. If that was the case, wouldn't that mean they were all just working for Eloise?

"How come I never knew about such a big deal? Well, Josh, it turns out you had nothing to offer and let me, a yellow girl, follow you for nothing!" Ela said angrily.

She had always felt that she had been tricked by Josh, and that she had borne his children for him.

Faced with Ela's accusations, Josh could not refute them.

"I didn't know about this until later, what are you yelling at me for, you think I didn't think of a way out, but I don't even have that will of the old man." Josh lit a cigarette and said indifferently.

He had actually gotten Eloise to sign the share transfer contract when he had kicked her out of the house in the first place, but it was only one of her shares as a child of the Thompson family. But the old man, who was the largest shareholder in the Thompson Group during his lifetime, now became Eloise and could only do the transfer of shares if he got that will.

Josh was the only one who knew about it at the time, and he had never imagined that the Thompson Group would one day be in the state it was in.

When Ela heard Josh's words, she couldn't accept the truth and cried, "You're not the one who's useless, your father died and gave his shares to his granddaughter, you're still not his real son."

Ela's words made Josh even more upset and he said impatiently, "Stop it! What's the point of pointing fingers, if you hadn't insisted on killing her, would it have come to this?" "Dad, what do we do now? Even you went to beg her to no avail, so won't we ..." Agnes whispered.

If we couldn't merge the companies then Robbie wouldn't marry her and Agnes didn't want to toss herself around for so long and not get anything in return in the end.

"Let me think." Josh said as he rubbed his aching brow.

Ela was furious and angry at the sight of Josh, the little bitch was still their nemesis even after she left the Thompson family.

She gritted her teeth and said, "What else is there to think about, now that the little bitch has been kicked out of the Thompson family, she doesn't have the face to inherit the Thompson family fortune. Let's have a showdown with her and ask her to return our Thompson family shares."

Agnes agreed, "Yes, Dad, Mum is right, she has been removed from the Thompson family for a long time and has no right to inherit from Grandpa."

Feeling the glares from both mother and daughter, Josh glanced up and said, "If you want to talk about it, I can't afford to lose my face."

Ela looked at Josh's back and said, "If I'd known this man didn't have a share in the Thompson family, I wouldn't have lived with him!"

Agnes said impatiently at Ela's words, "Come on, Mum, this is not the time to complain, just find a way to talk to that little bitch, right now my life is the most important thing."

Seeing the look on Agnes' face, Ela withdrew her tone of voice, put her arm around Agnes' shoulders and said, "Agnes, don't worry, Mum will make sure Eloise gives you back your share." Gardner Group.

Agnes was stopped on the floor of the Gardner Group and was shouting at the top of her lungs.

Upstairs, Robbie saw Agnes acting like a clown, and a sneer crept across her lips.

Silly woman, she was just playing with her, and she was really taking it seriously.

If it wasn't for her favour with Josh, why would he have chosen an illegitimate daughter in the first place.

Tired of watching her, Robbie turned back to the sofa and savoured the wine in front of him.

Ten minutes later.

The assistant came up and said with a helpless expression, "Patriarch Robbie, that woman has been downstairs and won't leave, saying she must see you today and has something big to tell you." Hearing the assistant's report, Robbie opened his eyes with interest and said, "Oh? Send her up."

At that moment Agnes was sitting on the floor of the Gardner Group, very angry.

She had wanted to tell Robbie about it, but she hadn't expected him to send someone to stop her.

Just as she was getting angry, a man in a suit stood in front of her and said, "Miss Eloise, our Patriarch Robbie has asked you to come up."

Agnes glared at the man in front of her and swaggered into the Gardner Group lift.

But as she stepped into the Gardner Group, there were murmurs from behind her.

"She's the woman who was making a scene at Patriarch Robbie's wedding."

"She's not much to look at, how could Patriarch Robbie have fallen for such an uncultured person."

"No, she's a Bitch, she's a third party."

The chatter behind her reached Agnes' ears without missing a beat, and she clenched her palms.

She wanted to go over there and rip the mouths off of these dead bitches, but reason stopped her, there were more important things to do now. "Miss Eloise, it's here, Patriarch Robbie is waiting for you inside."

It took the assistant's voice to pull Agnes back into her thoughts.

After straightening her attire, Agnes walked in with a flourish.

Robbie was sitting on the sofa, listening to the music in his ears.

Agnes was a little annoyed to see Robbie in this state.

"You're really in a good mood Robbie I didn't think you'd go this far, don't you know I'm still carrying your baby?"

At that, Robbie turned her head to Agnes and asked, playing dumb, "What are you talking about?"

"Heh, get over it, you ordered your men to stop me down there and didn't want to see me, you see this is how you treat your guests."

Said Agnes rolling up her sleeve, there were a few red marks on it, so you could tell how much force the security guard had just used when stopping her. You know how many women I have to deal with in a day, so they are just doing their job.

Besides, I didn't know it was you, so tell me, what did you come here for today?"

"I just wanted to inform you that I need your help to merge the Gardner Group with the Thompson Group, whose largest shareholder is now Eloise. If you can get her share, then the merger can go ahead." Agnes said indifferently.

"What?! What's going on here?" Robbie frowned.
