Love Comes To Me
Chapter 469: Why is he here?

On the other side, in a restaurant.

Aisly was sitting in a two-person seat opposite a man, probably in his thirties, who was sizing him up with an extremely critical eye. Neither of them spoke, and the air was terribly quiet.

"That, let's order." Eventually, it was Aisly who broke the awkwardness.

The man oh-so-slightly took the menu, brushed off a few dishes, and handed it back without asking Aisly what she meant. Aisly: ""

Aisly is very fair-minded and since it's a blind date, it's better for everyone to get to know each other.

She took a deep breath and was about to speak when the man beat her to it, "You're angry?" "What?" Aisly was baffled.

The man felt good about himself and said to himself, "It's good that you're not angry, women shouldn't be so careful, I didn't let you order just now because I was afraid of the delay, you women are always very inquisitive about things." Aisly almost laughed, where did this extreme person come from, starting a personal attack before even a few words were said.

Mr. Rogero, I don't know where you get your fallacies from, but I can tell you that your perception is completely wrong and not every woman is what you think she is.

Also, I think that the most basic quality of a person shouldn't be to ask for the other person's opinion before ordering, and you have absolutely none. Furthermore, we've only met for the first time, do you think it's appropriate for you to say these things?"

Cracking up and dumbfounding people.

The man looked at her in amazement for a moment, his expression easing a little more than it had a moment before, and he nodded, "I was ill-considered."

The other side was so nice that Aisly could not pursue the matter any further.

At this point the food came up and Aisly took one look at it and completely lost her appetite, but she politely ate some out of courtesy.

"Your name is Aisly?" the man was halfway through his meal before he suddenly remembered to ask Aisly's name.

At his question, Aisly nodded.

Aisly, at this point, was completely disinterested in the man.

The reason why they did not leave was purely out of respect for each other.

"I heard you're a nurse, nurses are poorly paid, aren't they, can you support yourself?" The man asked meanly.

Aisly smiled and replied, "Thank you for your concern, I'm still alive and well."

The man didn't understand and asked inexplicably, "What Miss Aisly is answering is not what she is asking, I didn't ask if you were living well."

"Oh, that's what I misheard."

The man seemed a little less than pleased with Aisly's answer.

But somehow, he held back and said arrogantly, "Actually, it doesn't matter what kind of job you have, the most important thing for women is to be gentle and virtuous. To teach their husbands and children and serve their men well is their biggest job."

Aisly kept her head down and didn't even bother to look up.

The man said unhappily, "Why are you so rude? I'm talking, you should be looking at me. In the workplace, if the leader had dinner with you and you had this attitude, you'd be fired immediately." "Oh." Aisly replied perfunctorily.

The man thought she had listened and looked a little better, and said in a generally beneficent manner, "The introducer should have told you about me. I am now a partner in a company with a six-figure annual salary, and it will be higher when our company goes public. It's very much to my liking, and although you're not very good at your job, on my terms, I don't care what your salary is."

When Aisly heard this, she had no inner turmoil, and even wanted to laugh a little.

With a six-figure annual salary, you're afraid you'll go sky-high if you really go public?

Please, don't think I'm nice.

"Why don't you say something?"

The men were upset at Aisly's dullness.

He's a good-looking guy, but he's got no eyesight, no mouth and no flexibility.

Aisly lifted her eyes and said genuinely, "Mr. Rogero you are just too good, I'm blown away, I can't speak. There really aren't many people as good as you these days, and really, if there wasn't any wine on the table, I'd like to make a toast to you."

The man choked, the words were a compliment, but how did they feel, a little odd.

But he's not stupid and would probably be embarrassed to pursue the matter.

At that moment, he hummed lightly and muttered, "Quite a sharp tongue."

Aisly also just ignored it and took a sip from her glass of water.

The man coughed lightly and found himself a step down.

"I usually have to socialise every other day and drink quite a lot, I hope you'll leave me alone, after all, it's my job and there's no way to avoid it."

He paused for a moment to see Aisly's lack of reaction and continued, "Besides, there will be some interaction with other women during the dinner, so it's only human to bring back some perfume-scented lipstick marks or something. Don't ask questions, and don't get angry for no reason."

At this point, the man's face changed and a few hints of displeasure were interspersed between his eyebrows.

"I hate the kind of woman who is in charge of things, and you better not be like that, or I'll definitely break up with you."

Aisly couldn't help but sigh a little in awe at his ability to talk to himself.

When did she agree to be his girlfriend and she can't stand it? What kind of person doesn't she have in her heart?

But she said nothing and watched him perform alone.

By the end of the man's sentence, it was as if Aisly had become the one in charge of him, his gaze sharply scrutinising her from above and downwards in a way that could be described as wanton.

Aisly was sick to her stomach, simply refreshed by this man.

She had often heard people say that they would meet some oddballs on a blind date.

Seeing that the man was still looking at her, Aisly slammed her glass of water down on the table and, not caring about being polite, said, "Mr. Rogero is not asking for much at all."

"I'm not finished." The man said haughtily.

After marriage, you can't go out to work because I married you to take care of my parents and pass on the family name. You just have to be a good husband and raise your children, and you'd better not go out too often, it's not like showing your face, I earn money to support you. It's not for you to dress up for other men to see, all this, you should be able to do."

One moment Aisly thought that her three senses had been shattered, and the next, she found that they could still be shattered. "Above is what I ask of you, do you remember?" The man asked in a towering voice.

This was still a man who was so incredibly self-absorbed that it made her a little sick.

Aisly took a deep breath, wanting to take a good dislike to the man.

At this point a lazy voice interjected from behind itself, "What is the request, tell me about it and I will listen."

At the sound of this voice, Aisly's body froze for a moment, not daring to turn around at all.

There was only one thought in his mind, why was he here?

There was still a vague panic in my heart, as if I had done something bad and been caught red-handed.
