Love Comes To Me
Chapter 492: Do acid lovers give birth to boys and spicy eaters give birth to girls?

"Why wouldn't I dare, if she wants to hurt my daughter, I want her dead!" Ela screamed.

Josh suddenly went quiet, his face unmistakably dishevelled.

How could this be, things shouldn't be like this, had he done something wrong?

What was the true nature of the two people he had been protecting all this time?

Josh sat quietly on the floor, silent, and for a moment he seemed to have aged ten years.

After a moment, he looked at Ela and said, in one word, "It was my eyes that were wrong about you."

Having said that, he dragged his heavy body into the study, closing the door behind him in the process. Ela, who had just been a fighting cock, ready to argue with Josh, was frozen in place.

What did Josh mean by that statement?

Misjudged them? He regrets it? He doesn't want to care about them anymore?

Ela panicked. No, she and Agnes had only Josh to rely on.

If he left them alone, what would they do in the future?

Agnes is now unaccounted for and she cannot afford to lose Josh again.

Ela anxiously clumped around the living room and finally ran hastily to knock on the study door.

Inside it was silent and there was no movement at all.

"Josh, Josh, open the door and let's talk."

Ela rapped on the door and begged so hard that there was never a response from the study and she just sat down on the floor for a moment.

She calmed down again, clenching her fists and thinking fiercely that there was a way, there had to be a way.

She had held Josh for so many years and didn't believe he would just give up on them.

Steadying herself, Ela stood up.

The spine was straightened and the head held high as they left.

Hector left the office and went straight to the hospital.

Still in the corridor, the sound of laughter could be heard coming from the room.

A light smile emerged on his cold face as his feet gave way.

After straightening his clothes, Hector pushed the door open and entered.

"They say Do acid lovers give birth to boys and spicy eaters give birth to girls?" "What do you like to eat, sister-in-law?"

Rupert's voice was as loud as ever and went straight to Hector's eardrums.

Eloise thought for a moment and said, "I seem to like all the sour and spicy ones."

"That's a dragon and phoenix baby eh." Rupert stammered and picked up.

Mrs Matriarch slapped him and laughed, "Where do you know all this, get married to one and go worry about it yourself." Rupert was instantly silenced.

Then as if thinking of something else, a blush appeared on his face.

Mrs Matriarch was just saying that, not expecting this reaction from her son.

It was a big surprise, was it still true?

"Rupert, be honest and tell me if you have." Mrs Matriarch said looking at Rupert seriously.

Fearing that his mother would keep asking questions, Rupert hastily threw up his hands in surrender.

"Mum, what are you talking about? My sister-in-law is the one who has it, I'm a big man, how can I say I have it."

Mrs Matriarch gave him a stern look, he was so old and still so immodest.

Rupert looked pleadingly at Eloise, who, with a smile on her lips, but with a spread of her hands, made it clear that she was not involved. Turning his eyes to see the visitor, Rupert looked like he had seen a saviour and said curtly, "Brother, you're here!"

Hector glanced faintly at his brother and walked straight to Eloise's bed.

Looking down at her face, he felt quite satisfied.

Gently brushing her hair off her forehead, he said softly, "Is there anything wrong?"

"No, the doctor said I'm fine with the small amount I'm eating." Eloise replied with a smile.

"It's good that it's okay."

Then let her body half lean into his arms.

Mrs Matriarch was pleased to see the couple's love and affection and said, "Eloise is lucky, she won't get into trouble so easily."

"Yes, yes, big brother, just don't worry, the doctor has come to check many times and said that sister-in-law is fine and that she is carrying a little blessing inside." Rupert also gags on the side.

Hector looked slightly more relaxed and said to Mrs Matriarch and the others, "Mum and Dad, thank you, Rupert, and thank you too."

"Don't say thank you, it's my grandson in Eloise's belly." Mrs Matriarch feigned annoyance.

Rupert immediately said, "That's it, that's it, also my nephew."

"It's sister." A childish voice suddenly interjected.

Everyone looked over to see Solomon with a small, serious face.

He wanted a soft little sister so that he could love her as hard as he could.

"Well, well, it's the little sister."

Everyone laughs.

Solomon looked at them cluelessly, not knowing what the adults were laughing at.

Eloise watched the scene and felt blissfully happy.

"Mummy, did I say it wrong?" Solomon flopped down on the edge of the bed and flashed his big eyes at Eloise.

Eloise hastily stroked his head and laughed, "Solomon is right, but would you like it if Mummy had a little brother?" "Love it!" Solomon replied in a crisp voice.

"I will protect my younger siblings and I will protect Mummy from bad people."

Eloise was moved and complimented, "Solomon was fantastic."

Rupert saw this and said to Mrs Matriarch, "Solomon will definitely be a good brother in the future."

"That's for sure, this is my Rogers family's grandson." Mrs Matriarch was quite proud.

Hector watched the scene with a smile on his face, his eyes so soft they could drip water.

"Hector, you stay here with Eloise while we go out and get some dinner over." Mrs Matriarch rose to her feet.

Actually buying a meal is a lie, leaving space for two is the real deal.

Hector naturally understood and nodded, "Good."

At this point only two people were left in the room.

Looking at each other, Eloise suddenly felt a little aggrieved.

"It's okay, be good." Hector coaxed softly as he embraced Eloise into the sea.

Eloise sniffed the familiar good smell of him and inhaled hard.

Sullenly, she said, "I missed you so much, my stomach was hurting and I thought I wouldn't see you again."

With a slight push of his arm, Hector held Eloise tighter.

"Don't say silly things, we'll all be fine."

Hector's voice is calm and has a calming power.

Eloise curled her mouth and smiled in response.

Hector is still unsure of the specifics of the situation and Eloise relates them.

She could clearly feel that the aura on him had changed.

The body is tense, like it is on the verge of exploding at any moment.

"Well, it's all in the past, I'm not fine now." Eloise said in a pretend light-hearted way.

Raising his head, he kissed Hector's chin soothingly.

It's funny how just now it takes Hector to comfort her, and now it's the other way around.

The two embraced each other in silence for a few moments, then suddenly Eloise remembered something and looked up to ask, "You went to ... him, how did it go?" Eloise's heart is completely cold when she learns that Josh gave her the abortion pill, and she won't even call her father.

Hector stroked her hair and said in a hushed voice, "It's not your father, it's Ela."
