Love Comes To Me
Chapter 518: Disgraceful

Ela's mind was distracted by the thought of Eloise, mother and daughter, and her whole being seemed distracted.

Like a walking corpse, he followed him in a trance.

She also wanted to see what Josh was going to do next.

Josh came out of the hospital with a vague sense that something was wrong.

But he didn't make a sound and got into the car without moving.

Josh kept his eyes on the rear view mirror after the driver got the car started.

A moment passed before his eyes locked on a taxi following them and his brow furrowed, "That car back there, it looks like it's been following us since we came out of the hospital." The driver followed his line of sight and spotted the end as well.

Josh grimaced, a coldness flooding his eyes as he thought of the figure he had caught a vague glimpse of.

He ordered in a deep voice, "Go into the left-hand lane and try them."

The driver nodded and temporarily changed lanes to the left.

Within moments, the taxi behind followed suit and changed lanes.

And at an even speed in the middle of the road, always keeping a distance from them.

Beads of sweat broke out on the driver's forehead as he saw that a vehicle had been following behind him, and he looked over at Josh in fear.

"What do we do with this ...? Do we go around and lose them?"

"No, follow the established route."

Josh's eyes were blazing as he stared at the car reflected in the rear view mirror.

Twenty minutes later, the car came to a steady stop at the Thompson family gate.

The car in the rear view mirror, also parked a short distance behind them, but the person in it never got out.

Pushing open the car door, Josh did not go straight into the house, but walked straight towards the taxi.

The driver tried to shout at him hand and foot, but to no avail.

Ela was going to wait for Josh to go in and then go in a little later.

This time he saw Josh coming straight this way and blanched in fear.

She buried her head between her knees in a catatonic manner and directed the master driver in a panic, "Go, go, go, master, drive quickly." But the car didn't have time to start before Josh arrived at the front.

Josh confirmed his suspicions after getting a good look at the figure inside the car and rapped hard on the door.

"Ela, get down here, I know it's you!"

At that Ela's face was ashen and hesitant when she heard Josh's angry shout again, "You have three seconds to get down here right now!" Seeing that there was no way to hide, Ela gritted her teeth and pushed the door open to get out of the car.

She cowered, not daring to speak.

When Josh saw her, he was even more furious, his liver and lungs exploding, "You've learned to stalk, you're a disgrace to me!"

Ela rubbed her palms together and was about to beg for mercy, "Josh, don't be mad ..."

"Ugh, you're two couples, right? Don't argue yet, who's going to pay for the car?"

The driver on the side yelled at the two men.

Ela's face burned and she mumbled to Josh, "I, I don't have any money with me ..."

Josh's old face flushed and his fingertips twitched with anger.

After paying off the car, Ela was dragged hard inside the house.

Once inside the living room, the door was heavily thrown open to block out the world outside.

Ela flinched at the slamming of the door.

Watching Josh's rage struck fear into Ela's heart.

She tightened her grip on Josh's wrist, tears swishing down her face, "Josh, I know I was wrong, give me one more chance, I'll never do this again." Josh, however, was no longer having it, and with a force in his hand, he threw Ela off.

Ela stumbled and fell woefully to the ground, scraping the skin off her knee.

"You've said this a hundred times, I've said it last time, do it again and just get a divorce, we've got nothing more to say!" "Divorce?"

Ela panicked for a moment, her lips quivering as she crawled over and tugged at Josh's trouser legs, kneeling down at him.

A snotty cry, "No, Josh, you can't do this to me, I don't agree to the divorce!"

She has nothing left after the divorce.

She had worked so hard to climb up to the position of the rightful lady, why should she give it away!

Josh was unmoved though, looking at Ela with eyes full of indifference.

"It's no use if you don't agree, I'll get a lawyer to draw up the divorce papers, so you're on your own!" Ela sniffed and her sobbing died down.

She stood up and glared at Josh, asking hysterically, "Josh, you are so cruel.

We've been married for so many years, tell me what I've done to you and the Thompson family!"

Ela would have just felt so chilled that she didn't care about anything else.

Josh was so determined to divorce Maryam, despite having gone to see her once.

Sanity is burned to the ground by jealousy.

"It's ridiculous, aren't you ashamed when you say these things? You know clearly in your own heart what you've done over the years, and Agnes ended up in this situation today because of your connivance!" Hearing Josh mention Agnes was like a thorn in Ela's side.

She laughed upside down, looking almost manic.

"Josh, don't use Agnes as an excuse, don't you think I don't know you're doing this to me because of that bitchy mother and daughter!"

Ela's eyes glowed with malice and she shouted at Josh, "What the hell did that mother and daughter put in your head? You have to protect them like that! I curse them to death!" "Snap!"

A crisp slap echoed in the air.

Ela covered her left cheek, blindsided by the blow.

Josh's right hand hung in the air and his chest rose and fell violently.

He looked at Ela incredulously, not understanding how she could be so vicious.

"You, get the hell out of here!"

Now it's a good way to see the true nature of the people around you.

Moments later, Ela was swept off her feet ...

The next day, Eloise had just finished lunch when she received a call from Josh.

But she didn't want to bother.

But on the second ring, she hesitates and picks up, though in a cold tone.

"Hello, is something wrong?"

"Eloise, can you come over to the solicitor's office now, I'll send you the address, there's something Dad wants to talk to you about."

Josh's tone was tinged with a slight supplication.

"I'm not available, I'm not going."

Eloise subconsciously refuses and hangs up the phone.

Josh's old voice rang out, pleading with her, "For the last time, Eloise, I'm begging you, meet with me, I promise I won't keep you much longer..." Eloise tightened her brow, but in the end, her heart softened and she nodded her head in agreement.

After the previous kidnapping, Hector was skittish and did not let Eloise go out alone.

She had just stepped out of the doorway when Marian silently followed her.

On arrival at the solicitor's office, upon entering, I saw Josh sitting inside with a solicitor and a pile of papers in front of him.

Josh was actually a little overwhelmed when he saw Eloise, "Eloise, there you are."
