Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 602: I'll be heartbroken
When Aisly returned with the porridge, she found that Eloise was no longer there.
Inside the snowy white ward, only father and son remained.
Hector is at his bedside, the incandescent light shimmering on his thin brow, dropping a silhouette.
Somehow, his back looked a little forlorn and lonely.
It was as if the noise had fallen silent and even the people had lost their spirit.
The IV drip that Solomon was dangling was almost gone, and the man lay in a hospital bed, eyes tightly closed, in a deep sleep.
Only without Eloise, he clearly did not sleep soundly enough, his brow furrowed as if he had dreamed of something again.
"Don't be afraid, Daddy's here."
Hector rubbed his hand gently next to him, trying to soothe the sleeping Solomon.
Both father and son are heart-wrenching.
Aisly gently pushed the door in, the sound of footsteps disturbing Hector.
She whispered an enquiry, "Has Miss Eloise gone back yet?"
Hector rose, nodded slightly and collected his thoughts.
Surveying Hector's demeanour, Aisly cautiously asked, "Brother, are you okay?"
When Hector didn't say anything, Aisly spoke up to reassure him, "Miss Eloise should come back again."
Hector hmms, a slight movement in his throat.
Seeing the worry in Aisly's eyes, Hector responded softly, "I'm fine."
Then his cold voice gently cut through the air and echoed through the ward as he added, "It's getting late, you should go back too, I'll just watch here." Aisly nodded and handed over the clear porridge she was carrying in her hand.
"Feed Solomon some of this porridge if he wakes up, it's best to eat light food when you're sick, I've bought enough for both of you, so you should eat some too." "Thanks."
Hector picked it up.
Aisly looked at the place and really didn't need her help anymore and got up to leave.
"I'll give you a lift."
Hector followed along and stepped outside.
In the corridor, a head-on collision with Rupert.
He was seen with a slight frown, hurrying this way.
Something went slightly wrong with the company in the country and Rupert left to take care of it.
This time the three met up and Rupert asked worriedly, "Brother, how's Solomon?"
With those words, he looked in the direction of the ward and was about to walk in, when Hector stopped him.
Hector said in a light voice, "Solomon has fallen asleep and should be fine, I'll stay here while you guys go back to the hotel."
"But..."
Rupert was about to say something else when weight suddenly sank from his shoulders.
Hector lowered his voice and said in his ear, "Nothing but, you're on your honeymoon, what's the point of staying in the hospital."
said with a look to Aisly who left them room to talk not far away.
Patting Rupert on the shoulder, Hector said irresistibly, "All right, come back another time if you want to visit, and take Aisly back, so I won't see you off."
Having said that, he folded himself back into the ward first.
When he had gone, Aisly also came forward and took Rupert's arm.
The eye falls on Hector's back, the light is dim, rendering a faint sense of depression.
She suddenly lowered her eyes and felt a strong wave of sadness.
It's the kind of thing you can't hide at night.
It erupted like a torrent of water and was unstoppable.
It was a feeling of wanting to resist but being unable to do anything about it.
Once outside the hospital, in the moonlight, Rupert could see the sadness on Aisly's face.
That white face was dotted with a sadness colder than the moonlight, and it was moving.
Wrapping his arms tightly around her waist, Rupert sensed that she was not in the right mood and lowered his eyes to ask nervously, "What's wrong, you're not even talking, is something wrong?" Aisly doesn't answer and Rupert thinks Aisly is upset because she's not with her on her honeymoon today.
At that moment, he raised his hand and said with conviction, "I will turn my phone off tomorrow and ignore all the company business to spend time with you."
Aisly shook her head in amusement, knowing that Rupert had got the wrong idea.
She pulled away from her thoughts, took Rupert's hand and said warmly, "That's not why I'm sad."
"So what's wrong with you?"
Rupert scratched his head in wonder, not knowing what to make of it.
He shouldn't have done anything to upset his daughter-in-law today.
"It's because of what happened with Big Brother and Miss Eloise."
Aisly rested her head on Rupert's shoulder, her eyes dropping slightly.
Looking at their silhouettes on the ground, his tone became unconsciously much lower.
"It just felt a little bit made up, that incident three years ago when all of us thought Miss Eloise was no longer alive.
But only Big Brother doesn't believe it. He's been looking for Miss Eloise for three years and suffering for three years, and when he finally finds her, Miss Eloise doesn't remember him.
Every time I watch Eloise treat big brother like a stranger, I feel bad inside ..."
Everyone remembers that Hector loved Eloise.
But she is the only one who doesn't remember.
It's so sad, Aisly can't get over it just thinking about it.
Rupert listened on and also fell silent for a moment.
Gently stroking Aisly's slightly cool skin. The skin and the eyes flashed with a depressed colour.
And how could he ever think otherwise.
Hector's suffering was in his eyes, but there was nothing he could do about the two.
In matters of affection, outsiders can only watch, they cannot interfere.
He moved his body and squared up to Aisly, wrapping the man into his arms.
Dropping a heartfelt kiss on her forehead, he softly reassured Aisly, "It's okay, don't worry too much, my brother and my sister-in-law will definitely get back together. They have been through a lot together, and as long as they are not separated by life and death, I believe that nothing can separate them."
Rupert tried to speak as lightheartedly as possible, trying to liven up the sluggish atmosphere.
Aisly looked up and saw the determination in Rupert's eyes and couldn't help but be infected by him. Rupert looked at her intently and said fondly, "Sister-in-law just can't remember for a while, not forever. We're lucky to have found her aren't we, so don't give me that look will you, it hurts my heart." He more than half guessed why Aisly kept hurting.
It is nothing more than associating things to yourself and being a little uncertain about the future.
The low voice flowed slowly into the heart like a cello, and a heart that was shaking slowly calmed down.
After a moment, Aisly raised her eyes and gave a light smile.
"Well, you're right."
She nestled into Rupert's arms, feeling the warmth of his body.
Stuttering her lips, she said, "Let's all be good from now on, and whatever happens, you're not allowed to forget about me."
She admits that the twists and turns of Hector and Eloise's relationship have made her worry about her future with Rupert as well.
