Love Comes To Me
Chapter 607: Something is bound to be done

Eloise's breath froze for a moment as she looked at the handsome man's figure on the screen. There is a slight panic in the mind.

"You guys talk first, Mummy's going to hang the laundry."

Making an excuse, she left hastily.

Hector saw her back as she fell away, and his pace faltered slightly.

Thin lips pursed into a straight line as he gazed thoughtfully this way.

"Daddy!"

The little girl's excited shout pulled him back to his thoughts.

The corners of Hector's mouth couldn't help but rise as he looked at Sweety's small, pink face.

He stepped in front of the camera and curled his lips, "Little girl, did you miss Daddy?"

"There!" The little girl said and pointed to where her heart was.

Hector just loves the way she looks as a child.

The trio chatted for a while before Sweety looked back to make sure Eloise wasn't there before plopping down in front of the camera. She said carefully to her father and son, "Mummy is not happy lately, what should we do?"

Little faces were wrinkled into bitter faces at this point, as the little girl confided in the father and son on the other end of the screen. Seeing Sweety's frown, Solomon's expression followed suit and he inquired worriedly, "What's wrong, did something happen?" "Sweety doesn't know, Daddy's not happy, Grandma and Grandpa aren't talking, Sweety's not happy, everyone's not happy ..."

Fingers gesturing in the air, Sweety struggles to convey the ambience of the home.

Hector raised an eyebrow at his words and was confused as to what had happened to the Darlington family that had caused the little girl to be so confused. Solomon then comforted the little girl and tried hard to make her laugh.

Hector followed suit and reassured her that it was okay.

Immediately after ending the call, Hector told Solomon to contact Eloise. So, Solomon has been pestering Eloise with messages for the past few days. A few side-trips also revealed that Eloise was really not in a very high mood.

So Solomon secretly started to figure out how to make Eloise happy. Eloise also took the trouble to reply to each of Solomon's messages.

This day Eloise was reading her report when her phone suddenly vibrated.

Eloise glanced at it and saw that it was a cold joke from Solomon.

Somehow, the corners of his mouth curved up.

She could more or less sense that the boy was making an effort to amuse her and wondered if he had heard something from somewhere.

But his heart was good anyway, and a warm current flowed through it.

Eloise's fingertips twitched slightly as she fondled the message Solomon had sent.

At the back of my mind, I feel a deepening bond with this child.

Looking out at the sky, it was not long before twilight was pale.

Because of what Solomon had said earlier, she had already conjured up images of Solomon as a left-behind child, pitiably eating alone and worried to death.

I couldn't help but send a message asking, "Did you have dinner yet?"

Soon, the head Solomon replied.

"Eat up, where's Mummy?"

"Eat later, are you home alone? Didn't your daddy stay with you?" Eloise asked again.

"No oh, Grandma's here too, Daddy's at work, and we had sweet and sour pork together in the evening ..."

Cracking down on the list of dinners.

Mostly X-country cuisine, Eloise couldn't help but smile lightly and her appetite was whetted.

It was also a relief to hear that Mrs Matriarch had stayed on the estate to look after Solomon.

Mindful that Solomon had just been discharged from hospital, she cautioned, "That's good, but you've only just recovered from your illness, so it's better to eat something lighter these days." "Mmmmmm, got it Mummy!"

Solomon was all smiles when he received Eloise's concern.

Take the chat to show off to Hector.

Looking at the duo's records, Hector only felt good and funny.

His image in Eloise's mind now, I fear, has been shaped by Solomon as a workaholic who doesn't care about his children.

Helpless and at the same time heartily relieved.

Even though her memory is confused, Eloise still cares for them at heart.

With Eloise's concern, Solomon is optimistic every day.

And as the Darlington family's air pressure sinks lower and lower, Eloise and Rowson's relationship grows colder as time goes on

At night, Eloise rushes back to the Darlington family from the office in the midst of all the lights.

The bright neon lights fade into the heavy night air and moonlight dips through the sparse gaps.

At the entrance to the Darlington family, a single light outside the door is lit alone, shining on the long gravel road, making it somewhat cold. Eloise, afraid of waking the Darlington family, gently pushes the door open and walks in.

"You're back."

Eloise, who was changing her shoes, was startled by the sudden sound of a deep male voice in the darkened living room.

She looked back and saw Rowson standing in the living room with a glass of water in his hand, looking like he had just returned too.

The moonlight fell sparsely on him, and the figure looked forlorn.

A stone fell into the calm lake of the heart, creating ripples.

The two men who hit it off were awkward.

Eloise didn't have the heart to turn on the lights either, and her breathing became much messier.

She lowered her eyes slightly and hmmed lowly.

"I'm going to go up first and check on Sweety."

Twisting and rubbing the corners of her own coat, she spoke lustily, and then walked upstairs in the dark.

Rowson watched Eloise's fleeing back, his dark, ancient-well-like eyes, devoid of lustre, becoming even darker.

The good word was held in my throat before I could say it.

He stood in the living room for a long time, the sound of his breathing alone in the darkness, the air silent to an oppressive degree. Followed up the stairs, walked to Sweety's room and raised his hand to knock on the door.

The slightly flexed fingers were about to touch the door frame and retreated.

Half leaning against the wall, Rowson dropped his arms in dismay.

He watched as the lights in Eloise's room came on for a long time before they went out and returned to silence.

And the water in the cup in his hand went from warm to cold...

Mrs Darlington was up in the night for a drink of water when she heard a series of footsteps outside her door.

She pushed the door out to see that it was her own son.

He had just left Eloise's door to head for his room.

"Ugh, what's all this about."

She sighed heavily and slammed the door behind her.

This is not the first time Rowson has been seen wandering in front of Eloise.

He basically appears at the door of Eloise's room every night, but each time he just stands for a while.

Do not go in and do not disturb.

The back looked forlorn, something that Mrs Darlington saw and was heartbroken by.

She knew that her son cared for the heroine at heart, but was just not very good at expressing it.

Mrs Darlington wanted to have a chance to talk to Rowson, but seeing as Rowson was in a bad state and worried about provoking him further, she had to stop.

But at this point, lying in bed, one cannot sleep, the darkness magnifying one's thoughts infinitely.

This time Eloise could not be allowed to leave her son, no matter what, and it looked as if something would have to be done.

After much thought, Mrs Darlington's mind was made up.
