Love Comes To Me
Chapter 620: Suspicion

Eloise's face also turned hard as she listened to Rowson's allegations.

Couldn't stand Rowson's grim taunts, as if she was doing something untoward by staying in the hospital.

Although Solomon is Hector's child, Eloise is not mixed up in her feelings for him.

"Have I changed, or are you just being paranoid?"

Her voice suddenly went down a few degrees colder.

"I'm paranoid?"

Rowson's face sank a few shades, somewhat annoyed.

Eloise frowned, "Didn't she? I just saw Solomon alone in the hospital and felt a bit sorry for him, so I helped out.

Sweety was aware that I was in hospital, I spoke to her on the phone before she went to bed and didn't leave her out in the cold as you say, do you have to make such a fuss? Sweety has a mother and a father at home, but Solomon is all alone, are you really that cruel? Can't even accommodate a small child?"

As Rowson listened to Eloise's colder tone, a chill settled over his heart.

Eloise had never been so angry with him before.

Everything changed when that father and son showed up.

Clutching the phone in his hand, Rowson gritted his teeth and said, "I'm cruel? Eloise, don't you think that's an outrageous thing to say?

He is Hector's child, and Hector is the one who wants to steal my wife, so is it hard for me to be a good brother to him? I'm not a saint, I have a temper and feelings too.

I want nothing more than to have my wife and daughter by my side, and you can't satisfy me with such a small wish? Do you have to do this to me?"

Listening to his words, Eloise just felt like she was playing to the bull and hung up straight away.

The whole man leaned against the hospital wall, calming his breathing.

Rowson's words today were so heartbreaking, he didn't understand her at all and just wanted to fulfil his heart's desire.

Even if it wasn't Hector's child in hospital today, she wouldn't care, it's a mother's nature.

Children are like angels, the purest and most incomparable of people, how could she bear to leave them behind?

After settling down, Eloise switched her phone straight to off.

Rowson is just not right these days and instead of arguing with him, it's better to just not contact him in the first place.

After Eloise hung up, Rowson gave a low growl and swung hard, hitting the wall.

Mrs Darlington did not dare to come forward to persuade him when she saw him in this state.

She had thought their relationship had improved, but now it was getting worse.

With a worried glance at Rowson, the young couple were really not letting up.

Mr. Darlington Sr came out of the room at that moment and said quietly, "Come back, you'd better stay out of the children's business."

Mrs Darlington sighed and couldn't help but say, "Just because that father and son came along and broke the otherwise harmonious environment of our home, why would people who had all disappeared find their way to our door?"

Mr. Darlington Sr sniffed and advised, "Now we are not sure about Eloise's relationship with that father and son, it's better to wait and see, I believe my son is capable of handling this."

"Let's hope they can make up."

The following day, Eloise woke up and stretched her somewhat sore arms.

Seeing that Solomon was sound asleep, he went to buy breakfast.

By the time she returned, Solomon was staring at the door with an anxious look on his face.

It was only after seeing her figure that he laughed.

Bringing breakfast to Solomon, Eloise asked, "I've got a few things to take care of at work today, so I'm going to go back, what time will your daddy be back?"

As soon as he heard she was leaving, Solomon's eyes immediately dimmed and he said in a voice as thin as a mosquito, "Daddy only said he'd be back as soon as possible, he didn't tell me when ..."

Eloise could not help but feel a little amused at his aggrieved look and stroked Solomon's head, "I'll come back at night, but you'll be on your own during the day."

Knowing that she would be back, Solomon immediately raised his eyes and said, "Then don't worry Mummy, I'll be waiting for you at the hospital and I won't get into any trouble."

After giving Solomon his meal, Eloise left the hospital.

When she returned to the office, she found Mrs Darlington waiting for her at the door and naturally knew why Mrs Darlington had come.

Eloise hesitated, but made her way over to Mrs Darlington.

"Mom, what are you doing here?"

Mrs Darlington handed the lunchbox in her hand to Eloise and afterwards said, "You and Rowson had a row last night, didn't you?"

Eloise paused at that and mumbled her lips, "There's no fight, don't worry about it, Mum."

Said Mrs Darlington, who was ushered into the office.

Setting the lunchbox down, Eloise enquired, "What are you drinking, Mum? I'll go and get it for you."

As the words left her mouth, Mrs Darlington took Eloise's hand and spoke, "Eloise, don't be busy, Mum will have a few words with you and then leave, you don't have to hide it from me. Rowson and you were on the phone last night and your father and I heard it. It was wrong of Rowson to lose his temper with you and I have spoken to him about it.

I looked at the door of your room after we hung up, and it hurt me to see that, Eloise, your mind was out there all this time.

Rowson is worried about you. I think you know in your heart how Rowson and we have treated you over the years, he has you in his heart and cares about you to be angry with you. Any man would be uncomfortable watching the woman he loves getting close to another man, let alone you being on the tip of Rowson's heart.

Mum's not telling you this to try and force you to accept Rowson, and I know you want your past back, but you can't lose sight of the good in the person in front of you."

Mrs Darlington's words spoke to Eloise's heart, and these days she was indeed preoccupied with Solomon and Hector, leaving Rowson out in the cold.

The conflict arose because they cared too much about Solomon father and son and couldn't even let Rowson say anything bad about Solomon.

If it wasn't for the Darlington family who have looked after her and Sweety for the past three years, they would not have survived.

She thought for a moment and said to Mrs Darlington, "Mum, I know what you're saying, I actually did something wrong yesterday ..."

Seeing her give in, Mrs Darlington patted Eloise's hand and said, "Ugh, tell that to Rowson, he was quite hurt last night, so make a trip back today.

And I won't keep you any longer, you remember to eat your meal later."

Eloise nodded at his words and sent Mrs Darlington away from the office.

When it was time to leave work, Eloise packed up early and returned to the Darlington family.

As soon as she entered, she saw Rowson sitting there, looking up and seeing her, she averted her gaze with a bit of a wince.

After putting her things down, Eloise turned to Rowson and said, "That, there's something I want to talk to you about."
